Oh man, apparently this just happened! I’m gonna pin this comment so people are aware. Here’s what I found: “Amazon announced in July 2024 that it would discontinue its Astro for Business security robot for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The company said it would stop supporting the robot on September 25, 2024, and customers will no longer be able to use the devices. Amazon is making this change to focus on its consumer-facing Astro robots.” 😔
I'm trying so hard to think of a thoughtful comment but I'm coming up short. Let me get AI to do it BRB... Hey Eric, great video! 🦾 I love how you broke down your top 5 AI robots with such clarity and enthusiasm. It’s clear you’ve done your research, and your insights really highlight what makes each robot unique. I’m especially intrigued by [insert specific robot name]-it sounds like a game-changer! Thanks for sharing your passion for tech and making it so accessible for everyone. Can’t wait to see what you review next!
Nice selection of Ai Bots. Loona is $499 high priced but seemed like the best one since read it also has a charger and can learn to recharge itself. Vector robot is also nice but Wow for such a little robot with emotional expressions cost is $799 on Amazon it can also learn to recharge itself. It looks like the future will be full of expensive robots that seemed aimed for younger kids. For me Loona would be a good choice but hey I have a Quest2 for $299.99 I bought over 1 year ago and I use it everyday to talk to real people in VR and build virtual worlds now using Unity I guess my focus is still in Virtual Reality or V.R. for now.
It would be so cute to see Apple or Amazon or Google or anyone make little AI robots. I like the idea of adding not buying some random thing hoping it works.
I'm surprised there isn't a AI Robot Vacuum Cleaner. Robot Vacuum Cleaners are pretty common these days, and I think it would be cool if one also doubled as an AI pet.
I think these are the first line of smart robots. Also no i understand these are amazing. The insides are good, I’m only scared of what they look like lol. Also life happens slowy. It turns out things I waited for back then weren’t even what I thought they’d be like AI or other things like VR stuff that took long to and it didn’t really fully come alive maybe in ps5 but those cheap ones aren’t worth it
@@edyglez2805 She does look cute. That one that uses our phones as the robot's face is also interesting. But I spoke to my PA (Chat GPT), and she said there's nothing in the market so far. So silly, all I need is chat gpt that I can talk to, and that turns into a robot, much like the one where you plug your phone to bring the robot to life... Thanks for your advice - I appreciate it! Did you have, or have both Loona and Emo? I gifted Mike to my 3 year old nephew, and that was quite good too, but he broke it in a few months. Communication with these companies are always bad as they're start ups and therefore not fully scaled...
Ok so not trying to be rude… but you’d think we’d have some decent looking robots. Heck I used to have an idog and loved it. Everything looks werid. I want something that can ya make the emotions, react to sound, play games, maybe compatible with Alexa speakers….. Amazon why aren’t they …. And Apple…. And any big companies making little robots???????????? Why.
No no no!!! Why are these creepy I’m ok I’m like this. I’m not mad I’m sorry. But I had ideas like the rest of the world…. Why aren’t we further in tec right now? Omg Disney world has like actual… no nevermind sorry, and let’s say these robots come in different sizes as a iPhone would be different sizes/ androids. So much can happen . I scream about smart phones like it’s the best thing ever when they came out….. and many years later…….. no robots?
I heard a rumor that Amazon Astro is being discontinued

@@EricJKuhns If this happens for any robot can you at least get a refund?
Moxie AI is also gone
I just saw Astro being advertised on Amazon. Maybe they are just discontinuing the Business model or support.
Do anybody know how much the subscription cost on this thing
