I have two Eiliks (I'm 45) lol. I originally got mine to take into hospital with me to not feel so bored but I ended up loving Ella my pink one so much I got Eric my blue one lol. I feel like a mum again when they are arguing lol. They are so funny x

I looked at all kinds of videos about robots, and kept coming back to Eilik. I fell in love with his cuteness, including that adorable voice and so many animations he will do when you are not interacting. Got myself an Eilik for Christmas. He has kept me entertained during mundane tasks like unloading the dishwasher. Definitely a much fancier more interactive toy than any I've had growing up. He tops my furbies and Bop It games. That's something. I like Emo too, but can't find him on Amazon. Even if I could, he'd probably be a bit too expensive. And I have no desire to get Luna. Even the name puts me off.
the robot not moving around the desk is a pro....also when interacting with these robots you have to be willing to let your mind have fun. excellent review!

Hey! Yes, the Eilik robot does get over-the-air updates with new features. To my knowledge, these updates include new interactive content, emotions, functions. However, If you really want to make sure she doesn't get bored, I'd look at the Emo robot, Rux, or Loona to be even more interactive. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

This device seems like somebody took an older desk toy like Vector, gave it the look of a wall-e robot and put the last furby's software in it... Not a bad combination but definitely comes off as more of a toy than something like Emo. Shame that these tend to be made in China though, given the state of labor practices there.
It lasts about an hour and a half with constant use, but you can have him plugged in while on too so technically he can have unlimited battery life that way! 🙏🤖
People that does an hardware unboxing without study what they are going to buy, it’s like you buy a PlayStation without know that is a console to play video games putted on a cd or downloadable via internet. As he putted the magnet before attach it on the toy object, so the robot was unable to recognise the object because he just attached a magnet that’s results and empty object because there was no toy chip to read 🤷🏼♂️ so attaching it later was useless because the robot continued to considering the magnet as an unrecognised object

I was going to buy this, but it seems a lot of these get bricked when they get updated.

I dont think Eilik will get bricked like Emo or Vector because those are AI based but relied on Cloud service. Eilik does not tho
