I have been in Europe many times. If my glass of wine gets low I will reach for the bottle to refill my glass. Usually a waiter will quickly appear from nowhere and take the bottle and pour it for me. In the US, waiters will refill your glass if it looks low. It is merely a courtesy. You don't have to drink it if you don't want to. It is not a problem.
Not that anybody asked, but any good freezer takes its ice down to about 0-degrees Fahrenheit If that were the cube you put in your wine, the wine will lose heat to the ice without melting it The wine would raise the temperature of the ice until it reached 32-degress. And only then will the cube begin to melt.

Neil deGrasse Tyson this. If you wrap it in a wet paper towel, the bottle chills very quickly. And don’t put ice in the red I’m serving. That’s just rude.
He noisily SLURPED the red wine (2.02) and Miss Lettie had an attack of the Bad Hair Day!!!!!
He did the right thing, what's the deal?
Hello.
