Why couldn't you connect the power wire on that camera size to a 12 v source from anywhere else to stay on all the time why did you have to route a wire all the way from the front? Great guide btw!
Why didn't you use the purple wire for the trigger wire (go directly to the tail light from purple/white radio harness wire), and then use red wire for camera power? Wouldn't doing that have eliminated the two extra wires run through the hatchback door?
Thanks to your video I have install the Exact same pioneer model! Question ... The pioneer stereo it says it supports Av receiver.. can i install a HDMI to AV cable to it to watch my iphone on the screen ? Like to watch RUclips , videos etc etc

I have the same setup as you. My Bluetooth (phone call connection) isn’t working. When I tap on the phone icon it says no phone connected, even though I’m playing music from my phone. I’m stumped as to what’s wrong
Can I use one of the after market backup cameras on original Honda navigation
im having an issue with my viper smartstart. I had to disconnect the (-) terminal on the battery to do the radio install. im not sure if that has/had anything to do with it but after I got the radio done, I tried to remote start my car, the remote start cranks the engine but it doesn't turn over. it makes 3 attempts to turn over the engine, then quits. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this without having to go back to a Best Buy installer. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. thx.

Tim S. It was overall pretty easy to do. The hardest part for me was tapping in to the reverse light wire, but that wasn’t difficult at all.
