  • Over 12 months of weekends doing a DIY fit out of our 2016 Renault Master LWB Camper Van. Hopefully I have lots of handy tips for you and will have the Exterior and Systems video next week. That one will get a bit more technical.

Hi Fullers. Glad you like the tv cabinet. It literally took months of thinking it through. The initial idea was drawer runners that drop down, but there just isn't enough height, so I ended up using webbing straps. Good luck with yours.

Hi Valeria. Thanks for the feedback. A long way to go on the skills and tech for sure.

Any advice on how you did your Tv? Really great idea on using that space above the seating

Hi Kenneth - sorry for the late reply mate. The TV end result took months and months of thinking and drawing out ideas. I wanted to have it on drawer sliders that drop down, had trouble finding them so just used canvas straps. Took the time to make them look as invisible as possible, but still very low tech. Good luck with yours. Curious to see what you come up with. Oh, I have the 12v power supply and antenna booster in behind there too, but forgot to allow for isolating the power supply on the switch panel. That's the only thing I would suggest you consider.

Hi, nice build, did you consider putting the bed sideways to save room and provide space for seating? I'm 6,2 and in my 2016 master I fit fine.

Hi. Yes, I actually started the build that way but changed half way through. That beam that runs fron the front to thee back on either side pushed the bed way up too high for us shorties. The loss of a settee is probably the only disappointment for me. Glad you liked it. Thanks.

@@vansandvangs my wife is a shorty so i put a bench seat in front of the bed she uses as a step to get into bed, aslo doubles as a dog house that i am frequently in :) very jealous of your shower set up, would love if would do a vid on that.
      Cheers
