Thanks for the tips! I’m definitely gonna try a few of them that I didn’t know before, the sock/kitten trick for straightening hair is absolutely genius.

You are welcome! Thank you for watching :)
The sock takes a little practice but it works! Let me know if you have good results with that!
Hope you have a wonderful day and a happy New Year ♡

    Hi,
I don't know if i should be happy or sad knowing that other people have HH too :)
Some of the tips you mention in this video are very helpful and I also use them!
You talked about drinking less caffeine and I tested it for like 3 months noticing that it does effect my condition a little bit.
First of all it is important to know, that I take a similar medicine like Glycopyrrolate (it's Sormodrem) and it helps me most of the time 😃
When I started the test I changed from drinking coffee to drinking tea at work, because my HH affects me there the most.
I noticed, that I need a slightly higher stress level for my hands to start sweating and they stay dry more frequently.
But the affect is not that noticeable, that I would say it helped me a lot with my HH.
I started drinking coffee again in the last few weeks and as long as it stays on 1-2 cups of coffee a day I did not notice any improvements in comparison to tea or other drinks.
Still, when I drink too much caffeine, my hands start sweating uncontrollable again and it stops after ca. 1 hour.
Anyway, I would recommend to at least try to consume less caffeine and to watch out for any distinctions.
Every Person reacts different to stuff like that 😃
    Best Regards from Germany! 😊

I know what you mean, that it is bittersweet knowing there are others out there that deal with these same issues. But, I am 100% happy to put myself out here if it means bringing more of us together in sweaty unison to feel less strange!
I'm glad you found some of the tips useful, I feel like so much of our life as HH sufferers revolves around just trying to stay dry and appear normal. Glad to hear that I'm not alone in terms of caffeine not seeming to have a huge impact. I have been actively trying to cut down on my coffee for about a month and I think I have noticed the slightest of improvements. Maybe I should invest in some nice decaffeinated coffee for when I want a second cup in the afternoon but I dont want the caffeine?
Thank you for your support and kind words♡

for my underarms i got a couple thompson tee under t-shirts and they work rlly well. In summer it can get really hot with them on but its still better than showing my sweat through my t-shirts at work.. lol

Great suggestion to use undershirts, I'm really happy you find them useful! I own one undershirt by a company called Office Undershirt and it is very nice to use in a pinch when you really want those sweat stains hidden!!

I tried coffee for the first time a few months ago. And I ended up in the ER room the next day. So I cannot take caffine at all. I wonder if my hyperhydrosis caused it from my nervous system sweating. The doctor said I had pneumonia . I woke up with a flu and had trouble breathing.

I'm so sorry that you had to experience that. I'm glad you're okay now!
I think HH has more of an impact on our bodies than we can even fathom. My wish is that one day there is more funding and research done for our condition and it's impact on our bodies.
