In this lecture Professor Zach Murphy will be presenting on Antihypertensive Medications. This lecture is jam packed with every single antihypertensive you will need to know for your exams and clinical practice. We will be discussing Sympatholytics, Diuretics, Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosterone Inhibitors, Vasodilators, and antihypertensive agents used to treat a variety of comorbidities a patient may present with. I graduated from pharmacy school this year. I watched this as a review for my boards. Hands down better than my entire program's ability to teach. Your ability to educate others is beyond impressive. 🤯 If anyone is curious this video does line up with the hypertension guidelines from 2017 (which is the most current version). 10/10!!

You made it easier to understand the rationale behind the indication of each medication. I will watch it all over again (and again) to gain mastery. I may not be a medical doctor but it boosts my confidence on administering the prescribed medications as nurse to patients.

Amazing video as always! One small addition: the nitroprusside is also an alternative that might be used instead of nitroglycerine when it comes to the hypertensive crisis with CAD. Hope you continue these series!
