I work in an ICU and I was using her videos back in nursing school. With covid we’ve gotten to the point where we’ve run out of pumps and our hospital has made badge cards that are showing us how to calculate the drip rate of some meds and controlling it with the roller clamp. Thank God we haven’t had to use them yet (at least I haven’t) but I say all this because it’s important to remember the basics! You never know when you’ll have to use it again

Fantastic video - I'm a nursing student here starting my first semester in August and we're required to take a dosage calculations quiz every semester so this information has helped tremendously!!
thanknyou so much i just dropped my dosage class because the instructor at compton college thats been an rn for 45 yrs couldnt explain the way you did so awesome im watching your videos daily if u had a class online i would pay for your class your a blessing to have on youtube thank you i registered for my doasge class with another instructor for the summer all i have left if physiology and microbiology an anatomy an i get my Associates degree in nursing from copmton college california
Thank you for the clear explanations. When I was in college, I struggled a lot to understand since the instructors would cram all the calculations into one or two lectures, which made it difficult for me to comprehend. But now, thanks to YOU, I can grasp each equation.
I wish this existed back in 2013 when I failed nursing school 😢 This is SO informative!!! I’m going for Psychology to get my BA but I REALLY want to try Nursing again. In my heart of hearts it’s really something I want to do it because I want to help people and feel that it’s a very rewarding career.

Good luck! I would watch as many videos as you can and just take notes on them even if you dont know anything about some things yet. Also if you are not an organized person START NOW. Plan ahead!! I wish i planned much better before starting the whole program and now that im graduating in may i realize that im behind on many notes because of how much time you will NOT have during the program. Wish you the best of the best! 🙂
