This woman has probably singlehandedly raised so many nurses and help create their knowledge base. I would bet she has indirectly saved many lives because of all the nurses she has helped trained. Keep it up! You are the bomb!
Hi Sarah, I’m here just to say thank you so much for all your nursing videos on RUclips. You can’t imagine how much you saved me. I took the accelerated (18 months) nursing program with no clinical or science background. Graduated with a 3.58 GPA and passed my NCLEX-RN on first try. God bless you!
I'm literally studying this for my final right now and was hoping you'd have a video on fluids and electrolytes when I was looking it up! So happy you posted! Your videos help more than you know! Thank you!!
Thanks Sara! I watched your other electrolyte videos multiple times in preparation for the NCLEX. I love that you now have a comprehensive electrolyte video. I am a new ER nurse and I want to be able to explain to my patients how these electrolytes affect their body when they have high or low lab values.
This presentation and the associated quiz were so helpful! Sometimes I just feel like my brain is in information overload and nothing is making any connections--this really helped me think about it and work my way through each concept step by step. thank you!!!!
I was watching older videos on specific topics for my exam in two weeks and wanted to see if you had any new videos/what type of topics you do them on (I swear it’s like every time I want to have someone explain a condition you always have a video on it). This video is very helpful. Electrolytes especially are difficult for me to remember so having them all in one place will help me tremendously. Thank you for the years of hard work and helping myself and many many others get through nursing school
OMG, I can't thank you enough. I'm at the end of the semester and I was always confused with " where sodium goes water goes" and asking myself " but how" now as you just explain the ICF and ECF makes sense.
I am a PA and my friend is an MD. Your lectures are quite good and they've been recommended to our medical students. Your fans likely have a high pass rate. Maybe someday you'll do a HCP series. Anyway love it...Keep up the great work!
I have an exam on Monday, and can NOT grasp fluids and electrolytes for the life of me. Thank you for posting this. It helped so much. Gonna go do some HESI EAQ’s over it to make sure I got it now. 😭
You are so awesome! I listened to you all throughout nursing school. Your videos made stick. I now have my Masters degree and I have my own youtube channel as well. Again, thanks for sharing!
I just wanna say WOW!!! Thank god for people like you!! And Bless your heart. I am a struggling nursing student and this has helped me tremendously!! Thank you!!
Thank you so much for going over the important points here. I look forward to diving deeper into your content as a base level understanding that I can branch out from relating to my time in the RN program. God Bless.
Just had my first experience with (I think) hyponatremia today. I was feeling like there was a huge lump in my throat that was constantly gagging me for hours until I eventually vomited. I came to this conclusion because water made it worse, but Gatorade made it completely go away. Am I right in my assumption?
Well I had diarhea and I was hit with severe dehydration symptoms and I stopped urinating. Now I have weakness that is constant, month after month. I feel like trash and nothing is correcting it fast. I can't consume more electrolytes or water.
Thank you Sarah mam your teaching methods is very qualitative nd also help for my nursing comparative exam...😍😍😍😍😍😍 Thank you I am always seen your all vedios nd also help my english language 😍😍😍 thank you mam....
I went to the ER one time for a high heart rate. I had sinus tachycardia and my BP was 173/93 with a HR of 117. All that was abnormal was slight hypokalemia, high glucose (I'm not diabetic), high heart rate, and initially a high BP. My heart rate eventually returned to normal with no intervention. I was discharged but they didn't know why my heart rate went that high.
Hi Sara i want to thank you for making and sharing this video. I was so confused in class with all the signs and symptoms of all the electrolytes imbalances but your mnemonics helped me pass my final exam!
If someone is already taking mineral pill supplements such as zinc , magnesium , calcium , potassium , sodium ect etc through out the day, every single day, is it still necessary to purchase ELECTROLYTES beverages after a good sweat from a gym workout ? or would their body already be covered from the minerals they already take through out the day every single day?
You can get it at shop.registerednursern.com (digital version) or paperback version on Amazon by searching "Nurse Sarah Fluid Electrolytes". Thank you for your interest 💜

Oh you are right in saying that! Same here in India. If nursing teachers were so good in person, than Sarah wouldn’t have such a following online
