Sorry for the editing mistake where every category comes up as "cream cheek." I remember changing each category name but must have somehow uploaded an older version of the video?! My sincere apologies for the blooper! I'll create proper time stamps so you can see the real names of the categories :)
Highly recommend the Tom Ford liquid eyeliner. It’s pricey but it is amazing and it lasts a long time and does not dry up! It also is so easy to use and stays on the eyes. It’s the only one I have.
I was on the lip cream train for a while but lately I’ve been liking the look of sheer colored lipbalm. Dior makes a nice one. But any lip balm at the drugstore is okay. Burt’s bee colored lip balm in hibiscus is gorgeous. nivea, vaseline are also good. Still giving some shine without the stickiness of lipgloss, plus most lip balms have SPF protection. I think you should give this a try ❤
It's funny you say that, that's exactly the type of lip product I will look for next. Something sheer and moisturizing but with a subtle wash of colour. Great minds think alike!
We seem to have similar taste in mascara, and I’ve been really happy with Maybelline the falsies lash lift (but not the ultra noir as I’m finding that harder to remove). Great volume and doesn’t run on me!
The reason you might like the Nars concealer no matter the season, is because it’s Nars’ version of a yellow-toned brightening concealer without being so yellow that it is a color corrector. A similar concept in the drugstore (but obviously not the same formula), is Maybelline Age Rewind’s Concealer in Neutralizer. That concealer is also yellow-undertone in color, but not in a way that would make you think “Yup, that’s a yellow color corrector.”
I tried the Glossier Stretch, and it’s nice but I much prefer the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer- just a bit better coverage, same creamy moisturizing feel and good staying power. Especially nice under my eyes. I also have and love the Nars Soft matte pot concealer- I use it to conceal imperfections on my face- it sticks around all day and it’s the one I use on a no makeup day blended into my spf. I stipple dot it on with a soft concealer brush. Try Tarte Tubing mascara. I love it. Volume - I use 2 coats and zero smudges or flakes. Comes in a mini and it rinses off at night with warm water. Maybe think of your special occasion makeup like the red liner and the Nars eyeshadow palette as a separate minimalist category for dress up. You’ll need date night stuff when baby arrives even if it’s just you two at home fixing a nice dinner and watching a movie. Just like having a dress up selection of clothes- not everyday use but necessary on an infrequent but regular basis.
I agree! If I had to choose only 1 concealer, it'd definitely be the NARS radiant creamy. I have also tried the pot and love it too! It's definitely more of a blemish or evening out concealer. I think for now I'm going to try to stick with just 1 concealer though! Thank you very much for the mascara rec :) I like you're thinking on that front! I do have dressed up clothing as well. I just don't know if the eyeshadow and red lip fit into that anymore but I certainly like that idea as a concept! Thank you :)
Waw amazing when I see how we as minimalist Always figure ways to even have less and less . I have pretty much one of everything but I don't own lip pencils but I own few liquid lipsticks because lip Products is my passion and I have two foundation's. All my room and entrance I own is extremely organized and has system for everything and still my mentality is same like yours we Always looking forward to own less and be more practical and I love that.
I love to hear it! Good for you for keeping a minimal collection :) Also, adding those items in that bring you joy totally makes sense (like the lip products). Minimalism is about intentionality and being satisfied with what you have, not depriving yourself of the things you love!
That lancome mascara is the only mascara that has made my eyes just itch like crazy. Im definitely someone who likes to try new mascaras but i always go back to the dame ones. I really like the rare beauty one and the tarts tubing mascara! While i have somw lipsticks, i also love just liner filled in all over my lip topped with a cute gloss.
Oh I will put the Tarte one on the list of potentials! I have always wanted to try a tubing mascara :) I completely agree about the liner. Lipsticks can be fun too but sometimes all you need is liner and a gloss!
Definitely try the rare beauty soft pinch liquid blush in shade “ hope” or bliss , a little bit goes a long way , very gorgeous color and formula ….. if you wanna try something a bit more sheer definitely look into Saie liquid blush in shade rosy 😁
@@HannaMicheleRoss hello I love watching your videos 💕 I think you should definitely try the shape “hope “or “bliss” , especially if you’re starting off with the rare beauty liquid blushes , think they would look gorgeous on you
I'd love to switch mascaras ahahah I have two mini-size of the same mascara that for me its too much, but I don't want to waste it and my mom gave them to me. I love your minimal collection, I'm glad to hear more people to be happy with just the necessary stuff. Have a nice day
I feel you! I really am tempted to declutter my mascara but I think I'm going to give myself the goal of using it up! :) Be grateful for what I have!!!
Your collection is so curated! Mine will take years to become like yours, but it’s improving. PS. I had to stop and look at 19:31 again because I suddenly could read the detail of your product😂 It’s a product of my country
You're exactly where you need to be! I have had so much makeup in the past I didn't even know what I had. Just keep on being intentional and you'll get to a place where you're comfortable with your collection. Oh the tiger balm!!! My husband really likes it for pain management. Good quality ingredients in there :)

@@HannaMicheleRoss high end, but since it's tubing it doesn't flake or smudge and comes off with warm water and a little pressure. I say worth it in my book!
The maybelline lash sensational is AMAZING!!! Try this one its perfect hits all notes voluminous, thickening, long lasting, but easy to wash off at night!!! Holy grail product!!
I have used that product for a few years! It definitely is lovely but I'm looking for something even more volumizing. I agree though...if you have more than 5 eyelashes like me, it's a wonderful product!!!
Hello! For mascara I would like to recommend either the lancome hypnose drama or for a very affordable but dramatic option the essence lash princess false lash effect (green colour on the package), they are both long lasting, non smudging, dramatic, lifting and volumising best removed with an oil based remover. The essence one builds very fast although its wand is thiner and yet the results are oustanding, better than the volumising one from ysl, chanel etc. I think you will love it especially since you like intense mascara looks like me, hope you try it!
Why does it keep saying cream cheeks? Also, you’re so pretty. How old are you? I’m 33. I enjoyed this declutter. I wish I was this minimal. But I don’t think you need to hang on to products you don’t like even if it seems like a waste because you deserve products that work for you now. But that’s just my opinion.
Just because I have cream cheeks products as a separate category from powder cheek products :) I am 30! And trust me, it took a very long time for me to be this minimal. If you keep on being intentional, you will get there! I agree to certain extent. I just don't quite have the finances though to swap out some imperfect products so I choose to let some go that really don't work and I'll slowly build back a collection that works perfectly for me!
@@HannaMicheleRoss That makes sense with the finances, I can relate. Oh, you’re younger than me. It’s just that it said cream cheek every time so… Thanks for the encouragement, I really hope that I will get there.
You definitely will get there :) there is no time limit or set way to become more minimal. Just being slightly more intentional every day is what is important and giving yourself slack when you're not perfect!!!

Nars has since come out with a matte version of their bronzers in the same shades so that could be a good option for you when you finish Laguna. 😊
