Wow, in the beginning his handwriting was kind of neat and easy to understand (I understood the first 3 lines). However, the rest was like black magic to me haha Thank you for such a wonderful video!:)
Omg legend level example! LOL and THANKS ive been the whole week looking to signs on the street and is like a new world open into my eyes hahahaha really
I paused and tried to read this, magically i was able to read those words which i already knew + to that extent i could understand the context, no matter how badly it was written. So i guess i should be focusing more on Korean, then i will get used to bad hand writing too.
Thanks more making this video. Surprisingly, I was able to read almost all of the letter even though reading Korean handwriting, for the most part, is more difficult than reading standard Korean typed font on the computer or other device. There were a few letters in some words that I could not read. I misread 축하하고 as 축하(scribble)고 I misread 그러는게 as 그러는지 I misread 다시 as 라시 I misread 한 끼 as 하끼 or 하게 I misread 사겠습니다 as 사낌습니다 Another interesting thing I found is that his ㅎ looks like ㅊ but because I was able to read the word 항상 because of the context and cos I knew the word, I was able to read the other ㅎ characters in the letter even though they initially looked like ㅊ to me. I was able to make that logical leap that it could not have been ㅊ but rather that is how he writes ㅎ Anyways, I reckon I would've been able to read the whole letter if I knew more grammar concepts and vocabulary in Korean as I may have been able to decipher through context what the letters were in some of the words I was not able to fully read. I'm surprised that I did better than I expected at reading this example of Korean handwriting. I kinda gave up on learning Korean after several months and have not been actively learning the language for more than a year now, but I may get back into learning Korean again.
I actually thought it was pretty legible! But this is coming from someone who has read lots of handwriting from a bunch of Korean kindergarteners, though ㅋㅋㅋ Thanks for the video~ I love your channel!
Thanks so much, appreciate the detailed explanation. Can you tell us (on average, compared to handwriting you see in your everyday life) how does this one compare? is it on par with everyone else? or much better/worse? love your videos!
Hey..totally unrelated but i'd really like if you did a video on Christian vocab in korean or Christian words in korean.. I'm searching all of youtube and no-one has done a video on it ..pls i'd really appreciate it😁💗✨
When I start writing korean I feel so bad and shameful that my k writing is so bad, but literally after seeing jks handwriting, I'm getting confident. (actually I can write kinda more clean and better, but not offending anyone just casually saying 😅😅🤣🤣)
Just realised that like only 40 % of understanding handwriting rely on the stroke order while 60% of it relys on the context of meaning and predecating the words ,, just this has to be teached somehow in Korean coarses ,, thanks that really helped a lot 🤍🤍🤍
the way he rllly improv-ed that postcard lmao i read that "고맙고" was 그쌍고, or 그짱고, or 그좋고, i was so lost, i could NOT read the "찮" in 귀찮아하고 for the life of me, and i thought the 게 in "그러는게"was either a 끼 or 거, 😭😭😭
I wanted to ask about the writing he has now, does it look natural or computer like? I used to write "ㄱ" just like how it is typed "가" , bit curved. Then i saw a video and the girl said that "this way is a bad one, you shouldn't write it like that, it should be sharp not curved." Since then I've been writing it sharply. But I'm not sure, i have seen some korean handwritings where people have written the rounded "ㄱ". And some Koreans were saying in comment section that she was wrong. Now I'm confused, because i find the round one pretty 😂

I've thought that this last ㅋ is an arrow meaning that there's more on the other side of the postcard😁
I’m laughing so hard it’s adorable... such a meme also

OMG I feel like I have just learnt to read for the first time. That was very helpful, thank you!
This is such an original video, 선생님! 😲 늘 학습자들이 손글씨 읽기 힘들어하는데, 이렇게 자세하게 하나하나 보니까 도움이 많이 될 것 같아요. 정국 글씨체라서 다들 매우 집중해서 볼 것 같구요! ㅎㅎㅎㅎ 👍
감사합니다 선생님~ 건강 조심하시고 새해 복 미리 많이 받으세요 ❤️
너무 너무 고마워요 언니🥰....This video really helped me A LOT💖
I was getting a headache but I’m so glad you went through it. 감사합니다

I’d say it’s somewhat common to see this kind of handwriting from men but this was a little worse than normal 😂

I wish they could write me atleast one word .
i could read up to about halfway thru line 4 cand then it all went downhill from there 😭

I think it’s ok to write it a bit curved! His current handwriting kinda varies so I’d need to see a specific sample to know what you mean :)
@@YourKoreanSaem At 1:18 , The letter on the right side ,
To 아미
뜨거웠던 여름 지나 어느새 추운....
The "ㄱ" in "뜨거웠던". It is curved.
@@tomylovebts1410 ohh I get it. Yes it’s fine!
@@YourKoreanSaem Thank You so much!!
Also, i have some more questions related to korean, can i message you on Instagram?
@@tomylovebts1410 yes
Now I see my Korean handwriting is not that bad😅 my 'native' handwriting (modification of Latin script) is not pretty either, but not TH AT messy 😀
IT JUST GOT WORSE AND WORSEEEE 😭
