I just wanted to point out, you should never use the concentrated tea tree oil (like the kind they showed^) directly on your skin without diluting it. You only need a small amount mixed in with a carrier oil or mixed in your shampoo like Paul Mitchell or whatever.

Basic scalp care has made my life so much better. I used to not brush my hair properly because I thought it made my hair “too frizzy” and now that I do that as well as follow basic scalp care steps I have never had such relief from itching. My hair is much nicer quality as well and any frizz is much easier to manage.

Of course I know how to was my own hair! It’s a SKIN CONDITION that is out of my control and I’m trying to treat it but it’s really hard. As a person whose psoriasis presented young and is familiar with its effects, I'm so happy the internal aspects were brought up. It was only recently that a dermatologist actually informed me of them and I've been getting treatment for my psoriasis on and off for over a decade. It can have serious effects on your joints and even your organs and thats important for people to know.
Yes! I’m 22 and I’ve had psoriasis for almost 10 years and psoriatic arthritis for 5 years. Labs all the time because the medications then also can affect organ function 😔
Diagnosed at 5, am now 37. Most people, even those who suffer from psoriasis, don't know the extent to which it can affect EVERY cell in your body. I'm currently being tested to see if some of my other health conditions stem from my psoriasis. Please folks, if you have this, keep on top of your health and see a specialist on the regular!!! Much love to everyone out there dealing with this. It's not easy.
I agree. I've had psoriasis for 8 years and only just learn it had internal effects. Only reason i learned is because my doctor thinks i might have psoriasis artrithis..which my dermatologist never informed me about
I am so glad this topic came up too! Makes me feel so much better, I have had psoriasis for five years now and I am 23 atm, it's on my ears mostly and I hate that I can no longer wear a nice ponytail. I have both psoriasis and dandruff on my scalp. Psoriasis on my undercut area and dandruff all over. I have to use a specific psoriasis shampoo twice a week and I use head and shoulders for the rest of the week. I have dry hair in general so I use the supreme nourish and smooth head and shoulders and it does really help make my hair smooth and my scalp a lot less dry and did help my dandruff. Turns out I have Crohns! Not happy with it, but relieved I can do something about it! Thank you so much Brad, you helped me tons!! ❤️❤️
A good news diagnosis! It’s overwhelming to feel like we have a ton of health problems. Somehow tying many symptoms to one underlying cause and diagnosis alone is helpful. Let alone knowing there are treatments or management of symptoms, plus a community of people with resources.

I just wanna say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! My head has been flaky, dry, and itchy for a solid month on and off and so I switched over to head and shoulders, more specifically royal oils, and my head has been so much better! I have ezema, and pretty dry skin over all, and I think the shampoo I was trying out was irritating and drying out my scalp but it never occurred to me that the root of my problems would be my shampoo! @@adrianna1608 I live in India where it's mostly warm or hot, so it freezes only during winter for like 3-4 months. Oiling hair with coconut oil during winter even after microwaving it would result in film coating the hair strands. The scalp portion remains fine because of the body temperature but the strands becomes weird. BTW have been using coconut oil since childhood and that ain't changing. But I do avoid it in winters.
i've struggled with this for YEARS now and my doctor knows, i have a mix of seborratic dermatitis with pre-existing dermatillomania so that is just a horrible combo. i was prescribed ketoconazole shampoo but stopped using it bc i was dying my hair fashion colors and that shit would strip the color like crazy and overall just leaves my hair feeling super dry. I'm growing my natural hair out again and using the shampoo but my anxiety has gotten worse which means I've been picking more. it is really great to see that I'm not alone in this and see more information being shared with the public on it. i have always been so insecure abt my hair and skin bc of this and even though it's kinda a trend rn to take care of your scalp a little extra, i have definitely found some new things that have helped my situation through it trending and am incredibly grateful!

As someone with Psoriasis, it's so nice to see someone with such a large audience talking about it correctly. Same. I got two at the same time and I could only see the parts of the titles where they mentioned their names so I was like "yas!"
The way Brad was looking at Mike was basically all of us 😂😂
I have both psoriasis and dandruff on my scalp. I really appreciated this video and the tips and products I can try! Love and appreciate you Brad

You can make an all natural poison from tree bark especially hemlock. Natural does not equal safe.

How does Brad exist around Dr. Mike Omg I would be blushing the whole time!
To be very honest, you helped me so much with this!! I had so many weird health problems, starting with seborrheic dermatitis. I tied it all together with crohns disease, so I went to the doc.

Dr. Mike- "Coconut oil is a moisturizer"
Brad - *internally screaming yet can't disagree lmaooo
Hyram tooo lmao
Coconut oil in winter or in it's frozen state is not really good for skin or hair so I do understand his opinion.
@@ankitasingh2864 you can melt it in the microwave/on the stove or even just by rubbing it in your hands as your body produces heat, so that theory does not make sense.
@@abendrot___8055 I think it's bad because, obviously it blocks the pores and that gives you Pimples. Vaseline on the other hand, it's too, is not really good to put on hair or face. A moisturiser and a conditioner is good.
And that’s how you know that Brad is VERY professional. I could never be this close to Dr. Mike and not have a complete meltdown

As someone who suffers from hypothyroidism due to Hashimoto's, my dry scalp has been insatiable and excruciating. Thank you for this, Brad and Dr. Mike!! There is hope yet.
I also have hashimoto’s and I have dandruff and itchiness 24/7 from extreme oiliness 😩 I got so excited as soon as I read the title of the video.

I have Hashimoto's and have been diagnosed with psoriasis as well as the arthritis variant! Please have a dermatologist check your skin, I've been told autoimmune disorders come in multiples! Be careful out there guys
As someone with Psoriasis, it's so nice to see someone with such a large audience talking about it correctly. There is so much more to Psoriasis than just dry flaky skin, and people don't tend to realise that for some people with the disease it can effect their whole lifestyle. Thank you Brad and Dr Mike!!
