Always fill DEF at 1/2 a tank. Will take one whole carton. Also operate slides while still hooked up to power if possible. I carry a tire plug kit and external install valve stems which have saved us on several occasions. Since we use DeWalt tools, we have the 20v air compressor. Heated seats and steering wheel are awesome.
Between watching you guys and Changing Lanes go through tire issues, it illustrates how challenging RV travel can be. Only the best and brightest will survive ……
Cody..... get yourself a good truck driver plug kit... You have the skills. Trick is to ream out the hole good and lube tge plug .. You'll always have options out on tge road.
Travel days are always interesting and exciting. We have a new to us 2022 Ram 1500 and I love my heated seats and steering wheel 😊. Thanks From Wisconsin
Glad you make out your Christmas list Angela!!! Makes it easy. Love the chapstick joke. Cody would love to eat at toots if he had time 😂 Yall will enjoy warmer weather
I am surprised you don't have a tire patch kit. Unscrew that screw. Ream it out with the tool and push in a plug strip. Cut the excess then air it back up. I don't know if it's recommended to tow on a plugged tire forever. Back in 99 my new truck got a screw in the tire and I plugged it. The tire lasted until I sold the truck with 40k miles on it. I always keep a patch kit just in case I need it.
We enjoy watching your travel days and Angela’s jokes. I see you chose the Hot Shot treatments, I started with those but switched to Archoil 6500 and 6400 when we started having frequent regens. The 6400 deep cleans the DPF and the whole fuel system and we use it every 5000 miles. The 6500 seems expensive but the bottle is GIANT and lasts the 5000 miles between 6400 treatments. Bonus, they both have long spouts and don’t require a funnel and it is less messy. When I used the Hot Shot, I always smelled like it afterward, not a great cologne. Happy travels to you and Merry Christmas!!!
You two should have a Tire plug kit. It can save you from changing a tire in a hazardous area. Also...... if you had your onboard air /airhorn kit installed you would be able to air up anything!
Sorry about the tire issue again. I’ve used the heated steering wheel even in Florida! Didn’t think I would use it cause I’m chasing the warm weather! Enjoy the trip!
Best investment is the Milwaukee inflator . Even here at the house with a compressor on all the time i use the inflator . Hell i even toss it in the bag of the touring Harley sometimes.
$3.99/gal for propane is the average here in Eastern and Central PA currently. TSC has been cheaper, U-haul higher, and ACE and the bulk suppliers in-between. As for the flat repair, as long as it was an actual dismount, grind, and vulcanized patch, $30 is typical these days. Definitely get a quality plug kit for peace of mind.
UGH! Travel days are exciting and excruciating all at the same time! I feel your grumpiness LOL! We love our heated steering wheel and seats, especially when winter camping in Ohio! Stay safe!
We stayed at that Loves probably about the same time frame as you. That by far is the worst Loves layout we have stayed at. But it works well for a one nighter.
I can’t tel you why, but it’s really really bad! We figured out that they tell you that it’s bad..AFTER we tried it. It got hung up and we were having to yank on the trailer to remove it, while we were on blocks too. So we thought we’d end up dropping it off the blocks…. It was a potential disaster.

Loved the “Hootis” reference, I chuckled. Boys are always giving me grief me I use the term. 😂😂 Might be a Midwest MO ARK thing

I carry a plug kit so that I can do a temporary fix without removing the tire, I hate changing tires and discount tire is always close by

Oh I bet! Heated anything is a game-changer up there!
I agree on the Milwaukee inflator ......one of the best $179 of my money Cody spent for me!!!! 🤣🤣
🤣🤣Right?! You have done your own damage of things that Cody needs to buy! Haha
Hey guys, great video. We go to Blue Ridge often! When it is below freezing, do you worry about your pipes freezing while driving? What do you do?
How do you like the RC seat covers? I bought my for my Ram because I saw you get yours and haven’t put them on yet. Love you two and your videos!!
You need to stretch before you put them on! 😄 As often as I spill things and the dogs jump on the seat, they have been pretty handy! 🙋♀️
We stayed at that Loves probably about the same time frame as you. That by far is the worst Loves layout we have stayed at. But it works well for a one nighter.
Right! It serves a purpose for sure!
Next time you’re at Love’s get a commercial tire plug kit 😎👌🏼you’d still have a spare for a blowout
I'm curious, why wouldn't the Teflon plate work on a slider hitch?
I can’t tel you why, but it’s really really bad! We figured out that they tell you that it’s bad..AFTER we tried it. It got hung up and we were having to yank on the trailer to remove it, while we were on blocks too. So we thought we’d end up dropping it off the blocks….

So where are you guys headed ?
We are currently in Southern Georgia and then we will be bouncing all over Florida for about 7 weeks.
Safe😂travels
Thank you!! 😊
Somehow I was unsubscribed. I look forward to your videos so I knew something was off.
Ugh. That has been happening for a while. 😞So frustrating.
Thanks for coming back! 😊😊
