Mike i second that red black and white tools seems to get the job done quicker and better 😂😂 @Lynn sorry about all the mishaps you know mike is great at fixing it all. Always great to sit and break bread with family ❤❤ amazing video as always
We love doing Thanksgiving in our RV and always enjoy your video on how you do it. We'll look forward to next week to see what happened to the water pump. But as they say: "RV'ing: Fixing Things in Beautiful Places". Or sometimes your garage...
Love your videos. Your Thanksgiving celebration always looks so fun and food looks great. Just remember the red tools are professional and the yellow tools are disposable lol.
Hey, water pump i always carry spares they don't last. What you can do for your refrigerator some of the RVs are doing now is they buy the better residential I just find one that would fit in that area you have available but a name brand one not an Amazon special as for CO2 detectors they don't last long I always put two different brands of CO2 detectors and smoke detectors in my unit that way I know one of them might work LOL
Mike, Mike, Mike, if you don't put the red cable on last you can't weld your wrench to the truck and explode your battery. What were you thinking??? Sorry you refrigerator isn't working. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Hey, should give you my recipe for coffee cake it's a complete scratch cake it's it's got cinnamon sugar everything Mike would love it's not easy to make though it's the next hardest thing to make or the hardest thing to make is stolen and the ingredients are very expensive but it does I have a very good old recipe
I have the same pot holder you have under the pie. A camping neighbor at my seasonal site made me one years ago, telling me not to tell anyone he made it. Fun/scary story with them. I am seasonal at Camp Toodik on the Lake Fork feed into the Mohican. River was way up and we decided to go for it from their livery off Rt. 3. I had my Kayak, they had my canoe and their kids were on a tube. They came sideways against a tree and rolled totally under it. Surprised they bobbed upside down on the other side. I had to pull both from them from the river, he climbed up on a brush pile. The next weekend... he was covered head to toe in poison ivy. He never got on the river again. Not much later someone died right about where they flipped. We were all lucky!
Dawg! My ICECO is antique compared to that one!! I have to get on the floor to change my controls. Maybe it's time for an upgrade. Not a fan of residential size in RVs. Soooo many have had problems. And some have to take the slide out to get it switched.
Our fridge is 12v, not residential but we wish we had a residential instead because this ones been nothing but problems after the warranty was up haha The iceco was a lifesaver for half our food this trip! It's been great
@WanderingWagners Yes I heard domestic 12.v. I was referring to the size. I think I'd rather have 4 ICECOs in drawers. They go fridge or freezer and are solid. Residential units aren't what they used to be either. Flammable refridgant no one even services them. They just swap them out.
I’m surprised you do not have a on board battery charger for your camper. Since you do camp in winter cold weather it can be handy. While using your block heater is helpful in the cold. A weak battery may not start a warm block or a cold block. At least fully charged batteries will give you a much better chance to start the a cold/warm motor.
@ I’m surprised when you plugged in your block heater why did you not plug in your on board charger? Having a charger and a block heater plugged in is pretty much a guarantee your motor will start. Just saying.
We may never know because I left the key in it when we got there and didn't go back to it until night so I could have left it in aux or something on accident... Or it was the cold and age. I'll go with cold and age😂
It all started when we saw this brand pizza said you could cook it directly on the grill. So we did but wanted to keep the bottom from getting as brown and we love our grill mats so we just used that. You are welcome to using whatever you like for your grilled pizzas😜

Haha why thank you!😊
Great video, and it looked really cold. I hope the pups got some of that Thanksgiving day food.
The problems that come up just make the trip more memorable.

Dinner looked great! The battery, fridge and water pump infected by demons! The next trip will be better. Glad you got to Fitch. Take care.
It definitely was a Thanksgiving to remember! 😂 I think Dave had fun using his tools lol we have ours but he's always willing to lend a hand😁
Wife uses neck pumpkins (I peel) for our fresh and uses the refrigerated crust from the store. Yummy! Good job on yours, Lynn!
That pie looked 👍 and yes home made crust is the best 🎉
YOU NEED TO TURN THE FRIDGE ON FOR IT TO STAY COLD
Oh gee thanks😂
Love your videos. Your Thanksgiving celebration always looks so fun and food looks great. Just remember the red tools are professional and the yellow tools are disposable lol.
Thank you! We had a great time, even with the issues😩 bummed we lost half our food but we made due😊 red tools came in handy multiple times haha

I used to make those pot holders as kids. We had the weave kits and made a ton of them haha they work great too!
Scary story!😳
4 Beers!
Haha oh you know it! With the workouts and issues 4 were earned
Great video! What brand pizza was that? Because pizza down here in the south sucks bad!!!!
P.S. Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Oh this isn't a fancy or "good" pizza... It's a 3 pack of Jack's but we are easy to please with frozen pizzas😂
Thank you!👏🏻

sometimes its better to just take the easy way.
Ain't that the truth!

We do, but our friend Dave wanted to try his jump box on the pickup😁

Never leave your wing man at the dump station! 😊
Haha he told me to go on home and not wait up. Normally I would wait😁
Co2 detectors usually are only good for 5 years. Yours may be due to be changed. Check the date on the back of the detector to find out.
We just replaced it a year ago👍🏻
Oh, my, the problems have to show up.. 😐
You guys need a pizza stone.
Haha I hate pizza stones. We have one and I'm not a fan
You did nothing to cause battery to go bad age and cold will bring out bad battery's ok i'm a retired diesel technician .
We may never know because I left the key in it when we got there and didn't go back to it until night so I could have left it in aux or something on accident... Or it was the cold and age. I'll go with cold and age😂
Geez sound like the meal was the only good thing to happen... a trip from hell... at least you had friends and each other....
Just think though, one of those broken things would have ruined the trip for most people. You had 4 and just fixed 'em and moved on!
That's a great way to look at it! Lots of issues but we still had a great time with you guys😁
why don't you just use a pizza pan?
It all started when we saw this brand pizza said you could cook it directly on the grill. So we did but wanted to keep the bottom from getting as brown and we love our grill mats so we just used that.

Always enjoy when you are cooking or baking. You did both!! Good luck with the fridge.
Thank you! I'm never sure if people enjoy it or find it boring when I cook and bake haha I was VERY upset the fridge ruined our leftovers though😩
hmmm you should let viewers pick out a bikini for wraith washings
So so hot
