Awesome advice! I think one thing I definitely forget to do is to adjust my hand for how far I move left and it leaves me standing there wondering why my ball didn't hook, even though it did hook otate exactly the amount my hand told it to.
I am just getting back into bowling after 14 years. What are some drills I can do to have a more consistent ball speed. My ball speed is anywhere between 14 and 16 mph.
I've been fighting to learn the 'up the back' more on all angles. Today's gear has me where my old release is just way too much and split city. Great view of the different release spots though. I need to show this to a teammate as we've been discussing this a lot. (he's closer to full roller where I'm closer to classic cranker lol)
My problem is not getting the ball out as in letting the ball let go of me thing. I must be dropping it. Because in not getting no roll off my fingers the way I want. I dont think im doing something right qith my body maybe my shouIders? Idk but something is wrong. when i slide thrn the arm comes down and out to get the ball off i mist be stopping my swing instead of extending out to let the ball roll off my fingers. ??? Does that make sense?? HELP SO MY THUMB AND FINGERS MUST BE COMING OUT TOGETHERlike that you don't put crazy amounts on your pricing. Thats great. Awesome video as always. Thank you for sharing.
Doesn't hook? .. I have the opposite problem most of the time. I am trying to learn to consistently control axis rotation and learning to "roll" the ball more forward to control my hook better. It's getting better for me, but much work to do yet. Rev-rate is getting up there now, just need better control. I am definitely trying to do the same as you JR, "rolling" the ball more, more forward roll and less axis rotation but with as high rev-rate as I can get. I have found that the better I can do this, the better my ball motion. Much much smoother, much more powerful through the pins, easier to keep speed up.
This is what I do with my hand. My biggest thing is I'm not as far inside the ball as you are. I have been working at it but it's hard for me to get my hand and elbow to let me. But I'll get it baby steps
Always great videos. Would like to see a video on seniors bowling. I was a scratch bowler in 1990…..havent bowled since. Now retired and in mens league. Completely different game now. However, the challenges are physical as well…..cant deep bend, trouble balancing on finish, ball swing reduced, speed reduced, etc………taping seniors bowling, and coming up with ways to still get a solid consistent game with higher average.
I think the information and wisdom he’s giving us far exceeds one simple mishap. You should really know to take what you get. You’re not always going to have perfect situations, just sayin
I wish you weren’t on the other side of the country but I will learn from you one day. Maybe I’ll fly out there for one of the clinics.

yessss....i have been pondering one of the trainers :P
Went to buy the release trainer base, but it’s sold out. When will they be available again? Already bought the trainer.
They are on there www.tenpindoctors.com/Store.aspx
Excellent video demonstration. Don’t think I’ll ever need the 3rd hand position, but certainly going to try the first 2.
Can't find the release trainer or base anywhere on your website!!!
They are right in the store www.tenpindoctors.com/Store.aspx

Try using a plastic ball.
@@michaelrhoads6349White Dot is my go to on house shot.
@@michaelrhoads6349 - I actually do when the lanes get burnt enough. Irks people when I beat them with my plastic spare ball ... 🤣🤣
But you always say to be on inside of the ball. Here looks your on the outside?
@@brettnordling2417 you start from the inside. You have to rotate eventually

One day can you talk about the difference between over hook due to dry and over hook due to high middle volume
Wish you had tape on the ball to really show the rotation, just sayin

@@Lakersrule345 I didn’t see it as a mishap, I was just suggesting. I love his content.
