Can you make a video explaining what the ball is telling us going through the pins and how to adjust? Hardly any videos out there talking about that except about the corner pins.
Question I put 2000 surface on my storm all road which was 4000 from factory and it worked GREAT! How often do you usually need to repeat the process? After 1 night of league or will they usually last longer. Always enjoy your videos. 👍🏻👍🏻
I swear by surface. I tend to throw the ball 17-19mph and it doesn’t really have time to read the dry. When I apply 1000 grit, it balances out and I get a nice hook to the pocket without having to slow my roll. I like it because when I miss inside, the higher velocity helps me get some very forgiving strikes.
What are the green fingertip things called that you’re wearing, where do we get them, and what is their purpose? Is one available for the thumb to make that hole tighter?
I recommend genesis sample pack gives a couple pieces of thumb tape to try, you wear it on the hand and you can usually find the piece you like. Some are quick release some are slower.
The oob 2000 grit abralon finish on the magic gem was ok but then I hand sanded with tru cut 2000 an then a 3000 grit, holy smokes it's an entirely different ball , favorite ball now
I have the og gem and I had to use a fresh 2k pad it hit hooked super early but did alot of hook stop but when I do the 2k pad on my spinner it made it way more continuous

many times the ball just either hooks early, or doesn't hook on the back ends. what is the difference with a low flare layout vs a high flare layout?

How does one know what grit to use when surfacing ?
A video suggestion. Why do I leave smash 7's?
Using the pad by hand, how do I know if I am getting the same all the way around and not more surface on some spots of the ball than other areas?
You can kinda see if you look into the light etc. Just keep track and do like 10 passes each way.
Cool video talk sand surface bowling ball Jr
💯👍🏽
I've been told to sand with water/pad. Any truth to that vs just taking the pad and sanding it like you did?
Keeps the pad pores from clogging up. I recommend a soft brush to clean them afterwards for longevity
Why it's illegal to sand half of the ball??
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO USE 500 VS SAY USING A 2000
500 grit seems a bit too rough
Nah depends what you’re trying to accomplish
