    Pentecostals call people Bishops so we're way ahead of you bro. We don't even use "priest" we just skip that one altogether and go for the big guns 💪

      Bishop in the NT just means overseer. There is no office of priest (hiereus) in the NT church. The function of a priest to offer sacrifices for sin and to act as mediator between God and man. It is not appropriate to the new covenant.

      @@Apologia14 I was mostly joking btw, but what you said is not accurate. Paul describes his ministry as a "priestly service" (Romans 15:16-17) and the sacrificial system of Leviticus is described throughout Ephesians with reference to the work of the New Covenant ministers (concentrated in Ephesians 4-5).

      @@randalldeeb what I said is exactly accurate. There was no office of priest (hiereus) in the NT church. All believers are priests and the Lord Jesus Christ is the great high priest.
