    Pastor Begg has been one of my favorite online pastors. Always expositional teaching from God's Word with an added dose of humor, often as his own expense. I live in the Netherlands and sadly have no church to go to at the moment, so men like this truly encourage and help me keep my eyes on Jesus Christ.

    the dust will never ever settle for the people who listen to pastor BEGG'S preachings and teachings , Pastor BEGG HAS A WAY OF KEEPING ONE's ATTENTION , OF POINTING US TO GOD CONSTANTLY AND HIS WAY OF DOING THE BIBLE VERSE BY VERSE , ADDING NOTHING , NOT LEAVING OUT A WORD , HIS WAY OF PREACHING GOD PLUS NO ONE , ONLY GOD , WHERE AND HOW CAN HE BE REPLACED ? NEVER EVER EVER , THANK GOD FOR ALL THE RUclipsS AND THE FACT THAT WE CAN LISTEN TO THOSE OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN , AND EVERY TIME DISCOVER THE DEEPER MEANING OF THE MESSAGE, MAY GOD BLESS PASTOR BEGG AND MAY HE SPREAD HIS WORD ALL OVER THE WORLD AND MAY THOSE TEACHINGS THEN BE ON YOU TUBE , SPECIALLY FOR US IN FARAWAY COUNTRIES. ACTUALLY IT FEELS SO UNFAIR THAT WE ARE NOT GOING TO RECEIVE HIS IN-DEPTH TEACHINGS SO REGULARLY ,MAY GOD BLESS THIS SERVANT OF HIS , AMEN

      I agree.
      this is exactly what I would say regarding Chuck Swindell also. He preaches the Bible and nothing more. What else could we need?

    My husband pastored and served as missionary pastor for 40 years until he had a serious heart event that caused him to step down...... 4years later in retirement God spoke to him to take his gift of music to the main mall of our city and declare the gospel in song/music (keyboard/sax/harmonica/flute/clarinet) and testimony. he calls himself God's "muse-issionary". God has blessed this new kind of evangelism. What is so amazing is that he has found favour with the local businesses, the council and police workers who ask him many questions re life and faith. Never put God in a box for we could never have imagined that God would direct him to this style of ministry - Our world needs leaders who will hear His voice and obey " Berean Literal Bible -Luke 9:35
    And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My Son, whom I have chosen; listen to Him!"

    This was a joy to listen to and a great example of Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.n In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." Thankful Pastor Begg gave it three years before making a decision and didn't flee when our cultures are so different 🙂We are now blessed with 42 years of grounded teaching of God's Word. I always appreciate it when he would say, "Don't take my word for it go home and check me up." That is a man who desires to get us into God's Word. 🔎

    It is such a privilege to be attending CMS Summer School 2025 this week in Katoomba. Great teaching by Alistair on the book of 1 Peter and wonderful and edifying conversations with old friends and new. The weather didn't disappoint - sunny and warm one day, rainy, cold, and misty the next. An awesome start to the year, a reminder of God's faithfulness and trustworthiness always.

    Loved Summer School this year.
    Alistair is a delight to listen to as he faithfully explains the meaning of 1Peter.
    Pastors such as him are building up Gods kingdom by their faithful teaching. Christians need to be aware of contempory thinking that is contary to the Bible.

      Don't. His response was for a particular lady in a particular circumstance. It wasn't an embrace of same s3x, etc marriage. His comments on topic gave me pause as to most of the weddings I have attended knowing the couple was unequally yoked, non-Christian, etc.

    He left Scotland to become a missionary in the US. Really? The US needed Christian witness more than Scotland? Or, were there other reasons?

    • @cindi7955
      @cindi7955 15 дней назад +2

      The Lord led him there he has shared about that if God leads one follows and being someone, myself, that left family and country to go to a country so different from my own, it is not something one does lightly and he just said he gave himself three years before he would leave after coming that was very wise because those first three years are the toughest in adjusting. All through the Bible God led many people to leave places to go forth into the world and he went as Pastor not as a missionary being sent out by a church body. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6 God put him at Parkside with the right Elders there to be a support and help him. When I listen to him teach the Word so faithfully I give thanks to the Lord for him and for those Elders.
