They didn’t really say much about the MRIs and how they were different after eating sugar. Of course the pleasure center lit up. So what? Tell me something I don’t already know.
It would've been nice to have some kind of guide that explained which areas "lit up" with the sugar. We saw purple and green highlights, but there was nothing defining them.
But does this test take into consideration the fact that the subject FASTED for 12 hours prior to being given the sugary goodies? That's a significant time to have to fast for some people. I know if it were me, and I had fasted for 12 hours and you ushered me into an all-you-can-eat buffet of food, sugary or not, you'd probably get a significant response in my brain's "pleasure zone", too. So how do we know that the response is from the sugar alone?
If I have sugar in anything before bed I wake up with a hangover like migraine. Especially if I had a binge on chocolates kinda moment. But even if it’s fruits so she’s not exactly accurate about trading one sugar for another.she also didn’t hit that the body will cause compulsion for breads because of the sugars in carbs. Then your not eating sweets but your gain more weight and feel like a slug, lol. Just my experience. So I believe without a doubt that sugar, our processed overuse of it here anyways, isn’t a good idea at all.

Whenever I have over-done sugar and want to cut back, it really does feel like withdrawal, so I believe the "addictive" effects of sugar are real.
It is not just sweets but starches also break down to sugar
It would have been nice if ABC paid it forward.
This report told us nothing. Expected a side by side comparison of MRIs or what's the point. With no baseline it's pointless.
So if you're addicted to sugar, I suggest you eat different sugar. It works for addicts every time.
Hahahaaha
But you are so right about that! Sadly but yes, your use so so right.

For some, yes. Not for the rest of us.

So, tell me again why it is bad to activate your pleasure center?
"OH NO, it's giving you pleasure??? Stop that!!!"
All that effort and no useful information, that's sad :/
