Thanks for your "stay on the trails" sermon ... we all need to hear that
Thanks for listening
It’s crazy that they let everyone still ride and enjoy the trails even with snow on them. Here in montana, they restrict everything so much. It sucks. Constant reminder that the government owns everything and controls it.
ROCKY Mountain ATV and Your Slavens Product Builds are hands down the Holy Grail of Justification to modify. I have never seen anything like this in Desert Australia where I live and play. We do breed excellent Dakar Riders and Open Desert Racers.
But we seriously dream of your endurance rides and destinations. Thanks for educating and showing off these amazing motorcycles.
Jeff spares no expense for perfection 👏🏻👊
Nice attention to detail. Like you, I spend the time to make all those little details right and it makes a big difference.
Love the bolt, washer , spacer drawers! 14:29
Great video and message at the end. Stay on the trail, if you can't clear it, turn around.
I just love to look at true craftsmanship work, this bike is beautiful and you've done an awesome job. The man cave is looking as sweet as they come, wow. You've got the touch, sir!
Thank you.
Wow! Jeff IS ON IT! AMAAAZING BIKE SETUP KOOOL AS!
Thank you.
Great build so far Jeff.
Thank you.
You truly make some great content, and I like the graphics you put on. I’m currently living in Lakewood, CO. Will be looking out for you on the trails when I’m out that way.
Thank you.
I used to work as a heavy equipment mechanic and the first word of advice from one of the old timers was "save all ya old hardware" he had 5 gallon buckets full of nuts and bolts(not my organizational style but it worked) and man when you needed something he was the guy to go to
Jeff, always amazing work, and insights!
Thank you.
Thanks for posting. Great job.
Which bars do you run Jeff. Standard and flexx. 6’ 3” guy here.
I use stock bars with 10mm risers, Renthal Enduro or Flexx 10 degree enduro. slavensracing.com/shop/fasst-flexx-handlebars/. I don't care for tall bars or big bar risers.
Do the new style front fenders with the little "wings" on the back fit on older model 2018 XCW 300s? Looks like they will help deflect small rocks from hitting the radiators.
Yes, they will fit your bike.
Do you have a part number for the tank vent hose attachment into the frame?
79107013010 .99 cents . Save up your pennies.
Sweet, I think I might get that bar clamp.
Before i had even started the video, I was going to ask about putting on a left hand rear break with the Recluse Clutch [THEN you showed YOU SET-UP] Best set-up AGAIN Mr Slavens. I WAIT for you;er NEW Vids to come up. I love the KTM Brand [Have;nt got a bike ATM] BUT that;s changing SOON. And will be Buying parts from you;er shop, Best wishes [South Wales UK].
Thank you.
Hey Jeff bought the exed fan kit and the little box under the seat lit the brake horn light not the fan one. Any advice?
Hello:
I always connect them directly to the battery so I have not experienced that scenario.
What’s the plug you use on your vent tube to route it in the frame? Looks clean!
KTM part #79107013010. Might be beyond your budget, ha! .99 cents.
Sorry if i missed it, but which handguards and mounts are those? I want to order some.
5:25 molecule handguards.
To me those mounts look like the rear edges could do serious injury to knuckles and hands and the fronts could smash straight through the plastic guards and then through yours or someone else's body in a big crash. I wouldn't have them on my bike.
The least they could do is round off the inner edges.

Hold on cowboy! There is NOTHING unsafe or prone to cause injury and smashing through the plastic is absurd. The plastic shields are so tough you can barely cut through them with a hack saw. They will never shear in a crash, never.
@@slaverace1 Fair enough but my background in both manufacturing and offroad riding says you don't leave sharp corners on an accessory unless there's a good reason. In my opinion they can be made safer with no downside which is what good product design is all about. Nowhere else on that bike are there sharp corners where your body is likely to connect with in the event of a crash. That is done deliberately and for very good reason.
Hi Jeff. Do you know which Swingarm guards will fit the new 2024 KTM 300XCW?
Hello: The only guards currently available for your '24 W are from Crosslinked. slavensracing.com/shop/swingarm-guards-for-ktm-hqv-berg-gg-by-crosslinked-components/
@@slaverace1 Thanks Jeff!
do you like the Molecule over the SXS handguards ?
Hello:
I use both, on different bikes, and I like both. The SXS Burly guards are what the name implies, they are burly/gnarly. The shields on both brands are basically the same, same strength, same material, but the SXS mounts are thicker and tougher than the Molecule. On my `24 bikes I am using the Molecule because I like the styling better and the mounts are black anodized.
I've had Jeff and Alec do the slavens Mule tune and relocation block on my last 2 300s. Just bought the 24 and while it better stock than the others its not as good as my 21 with the Get Mule tune. I'm worried.
Working working on performance options. Stay tuned.
I don’t care for the stock foot pegs ! I’m 6’2 “. What are some good foot pegs that sit down lower and back ? what do you recommend ?
We are loving the Carapaks Footpegs. slavensracing.com/shop/stainless-steel-footpegs-by-carapaks/
What radiator guards did you mount?
Bullet Proof Designs. slavensracing.com/shop/radiator-guards-bullet-proof-designs-ktm/
What is your assessment of the power output? Have they gone too far in making it a “trail” or “hard enduro” bike for someone who needs a well rounded bike vs having multiple bikes?
No, I think they hit the target for the majority of riders, however I've been working on and testing new performance options. Stay tuned. I'll post a video soon.
What make bar ends do you fit
slavensracing.com/shop/g-rip-bar-ends/
Thanks for pushing to stay on the trail. Its a constant problem hear in California. Seams like the squids only keep their saws on there bikes for the photo shoot hear and don't actually clear much trail.
You're welcome.
8:30 My OCD almost climaxed here
Dare I ask the price of them front forks
$4998
