    Love this set up Jeff! I bought a 24 300xcw last fall, I’m gonna stop by your shop over the next couple weeks and pick up some of these mods 👍🏼

    Awesome shout out to LETKO Cycles. Gary, Chance and the guys over there are awesome. Can't say enough good things about them. Great video, Jeff.

    Love your stuff man. I really like the experience you have and that you keep your stuff so clean. I try to do the same. I’m also imparting it on my son. If nothing else he’s paying attention to what needs looked at, adjusting or fixing while we’re riding and addressing those things as we clean bikes afterwards. Last weekend we weren’t ready to go and had to miss riding Friday and only got Saturday and Sunday. He pointed out if we’d had our bikes sitting 100% we could have just left. I pointed out that he’s absolutely right, but I’m pushing 50 years old and I’d have tired out by Sunday anyway lol. Thanks for the content!

    I called Chase at Letko Cycles per your recommendation and was able to put a deposit on one. Way better pricing than any of the Colorado dealers I spoke to so I am driving out there to get it. My buddy may be getting the standard version from them as well :) Thanks for the tip!

    Jeff, as always your videos are amazing. This may be an unfair question but what changes would you make to your set up if you were riding mainly technical desert. I understand may be a bigger front tire etc. but is there anything else you would change? Appreciate it, sir!

    • @slaverace1
      @slaverace1  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hello
      I would need to ride your trails to accurately answer your question but I’m guessing i wouldn’t change anything except possibly the front tire if there is a lot of sand.

    • @slaverace1
      @slaverace1  2 месяца назад

      Hello:
      No, that's a standard height. I use it on tight trails and use a tall seat for pussy rides. I'm 6'3". You probably need a tall seat for all applications. Seat Concepts are the bomb! I prefer the Comfort model >>> slavensracing.com/shop/complete-comfort-seat-for-ktm-by-seat-concepts/ .

    Do you have any experience with the new 250 xcw tbi? Curious if it’s a lower powered 300 or a different ride all together (snappier and all that)

    • @slaverace1
      @slaverace1  5 месяцев назад

      Hello Nick:
      250s always have a lighter feel, which makes flicking them around easier, and they rev more.

      Thanks for the response. I owned a 250xc for a few years and am now on a 200rr. The 250 was a bit fast for me honestly. Would like a new TE bike but can’t seem to pin down which bike would fit me better (250 or 300).

    Just curious about your spark arrestor choice ? Silencer looked stock in the video.

    • @slaverace1
      @slaverace1  11 месяцев назад +12

      It is stock for now. I'm being rebellious because I totally disagree with spark arrestors. The motorcycle community gets unfair scrutiny from the feds and I'm fed up with their BS. We have to purchase offroad riding permits (in Colorado and many western states) ($25) yet hikers, mtn. bikers, Jeepers, equestrians do not. I pay that fee every year because those funds actually do go towards trail repairs, etc. but just show me one proven example of any dirt bike causing a forest fire from the exhaust. There are none to my knowledge. It's total BS!
