The V6 Charger of modern times is as fast as many classic V8 cars.
Nope , they are way faster. Almost 3x
Fact!
FACTS!
Yeah, well, I bet my dad's stronger than your dad.
@@TragickSin I've ran down like 3 rts in my 2021 gt... older one's obviously 2006-2010 chargers
I have no problem with the V6 crowd. At 300hp your V6 is putting down power in the same neighborhood as small blocks did back in the muscle car era, and that's nothing to laugh about, actually those that make fun of the V6 mopars are clowns. 300hp moving 4300lbs of weight isn't going to give you a 10 sec car, but it's not slow either. Todays V6 Mopars can hang with yesteryears small blocks, and that's impressive not slow.
My 2018 v6 Charger is approaching 140,000m and I only have a Radiator leak. These cars are great
A 3.6 pentastar was recorded to have last at around 600k+ miles before it died out....
I have 2019 SXT awd here in Edmonton .Even at -50 degree celsius it start and drive perfect.I have 108000 km on it. No issue ever.
Just purchased a new 2023 Charger GT GO Mango about 2 weeks ago and our 17 year old daughter a new 2033 Charger SXT. Both have the same 6 and drive amazing. I am almost 73 and always loved the Charger. Been in law enforcement for almost 30 years and in 2006 was a Traffic Officer and in December old 2006 I got the first Charger we ever got and it was a 2007. We slick topped it and when people saw it they went wild. It had a 6 and was plenty fast also it was a different 6. I LOVED that car. Great video
Amazing, I am looking at the awd version. Thanks for the review.
My wife drives her 2017 Challenger GT AWD. She lovers it in, the MN winters. ( 21" inches of snow could not stop it ) So far she has 56,000 miles on it, and ZERO problems. Really good MPG in the summer. She gets 26.8 MPG City /Hwy. But with the Shitty MN winter gas. She only gets 23.5 Mpg city/hwy. But then again she lets it. Warm.up all time with the remote start.
26 mpg gallon in a charger? What does she drive at, speed limit?
@@The11wrestle Challenger about 5 or 10 mph over.
Love it !!!❤
Good to know they hold up. I'm at 61,000 on my 2019 GT and I was starting to worry about the high mileage. Nice informative video #teammopar #teamGT
Keep the oil changed and don't overheat it
@@bobfranks3376dumb question but I’m not a car guy. What is overheating?
@@ultraspeedy4911 You run your of antifreeze or water coolant and you will find out.
What? It's like to seize a motor up, especially if you don't have oil in it.
@@ultraspeedy4911keep your fluids in your car and do the regular maintenance
The engine are not bad if taken care of. But the horrible chrysler transmissions are just god awful not worth it
I had one coil go bad I’m at 93,000 but I only replaced the spark plug for the one. How much did it run you to replace them all? If you don’t mind me asking
My 2019 charger GT just hit 135k miles and still going strong. I’ve kept up with oil changes every 5k-7k with synthetic blend. Replaced front break rotors and pads all around. New front struts recently. Upgraded the headlights to LED’s. The last thing I’m doing will be the spark plugs and possibly the battery. I’m going to avoid anything to do with the transmission for now, nobody wants to change the oil and always tell me only dealer can do it. Other than that it’s been minimal repairs considering an accident it was involved in before the plates even came in. 🙄wifey crashed it at about 1k miles. Front driver fender was hit. Fairly minor, although I did have to fix things such as control arms n stuff. Overall reliable. I plan to keep it as my daily driver. Looking forward to test drive the electric charger and the inline 6. My wife has her camaro ss so i drive it once in awhile just to get the V8 urge out of my system 😮💨
just saw your car in royal and decided to check out the sticker sick charger bro
Preciate it 🤟🏼
I had a Charger Scat Pack for 2.5 years and I'm now driving a Charger GT. Most people can't tell that I've changed cars because I bought the GT in the same color as the Scat. The main reason is that over the first 5 years of ownership, I will save over $20,000 and since I don't drive like a maniac anyway, I didn't give up much. I'm older and wiser.
I have a 2017 Charger v6 police, does it change something because it is police or is it the same?
Would you say this is a good first car? I want something aggresive, I like the 2015 charger but I'm not sure if it's a good first car
I was thinking about getting a dodge charger a V6 how many years have you had yours for?
I'm thinking about trading my 2014 v6 camaro convertible for a 2015 rallye with 90k I can't decide weather I should or not
I have a 2013 SE and get 28mpg, I do alot if hwy driving though.
Good video alright!
A 2018 charger v6 beat my 2017 gmc sierra 5.3 but i wasn’t manually shifting. I honestly think i got smoked regardless. This things is fast for a v6!
Notification Gang ‼️🔥🔥🔥

In my 2017 challenger I had the misfire to.
bro i was sitting in my dads car and i looked out the window and saw u 🤣🤣
When was this? 😂

Oh okay i gotchu, well if you see me again say whats up, i got you 🤟🏼
I have a 2014 dodge charger sxt with 103 thousand miles and only issue was oil leak adapter housing which I changed myself .so far its been holding up .I plan on keeping it till the frame rots 😂😅😂..it does help if you wrench...
How is it on gas
You got a exhaust video? Sorry I’m at work ad thinking about getting my gt challenger done
Yea I got one on my page
I am thinking of buying a charger ex cop car so i have 2 options a v8 and v6 both have the same price but ofc different mileage my question is is it worth buying the v8 or not i know more power but one is basically new and the v8 is in between and is it worth buying a cop car or pay extra for a normal one ??
Its wild for me to think 90k for your 2019!! I have a 2013 AWD and am at 90k lol
just hit 107k in mine shit just gonna keep it going got the car shield on it now cause I hit 100k so fast 3 years exactly
I want the charger GT as my first car, or second, and the only thing I’m worried is the gas mileage.
Yeah bro I'm going back and forth v6 v8 just cause it's gunna be a daily driver and it's 35 miles round trip I rented one and fell in love and the 6 has plenty of spunk I'm gunna test the hemi next week so no promises
Which one did you always buy?
Add k.n. cold air intake 80mm throttle body ripp coil packs NGK spark plugs Ported upper and ported lower air intake manifold custom tuning exhaust is straight piped/ w burble tune 🎶 V6 charger
i am at 600 miles, v6 charger with warranty. is it best wait to add mufflers after the warranty expires?
I don’t know the answer to your question but congrats on your car!
awesome color
Preciate it!
For whatever reason a 3.6L Charger is waaay more reliable than an identically spec’d Durango. 🤔 Sorry to see such a great car going away.
You in Dallas?
You know if the gt is more costly for insurance than the regular sxt?
Seems the gas mileage is the same according to your video actually. I think the main drawback is it looks way more expensive than it is and It will stand out to thieves.
I know of v6s getting stolen bc they looked like v8s lol. Can’t have anything nice.
I think if the insurance is higher than a regular v6 I’d pass . These are cool cars but even the regular v6 can be fun and reliable. The much higher end cars are just toys and not great ideas for normal driving and living due to ridiculous prices of initial price but also gas and insurance it’s not really practical at all but obviously they are fun . Also I love hearing music when I drive (So idk if I want a fairly loud engine) and even tho I’m a car guy I’m also a musician so for me the perfect car experience is a fast punchy car with a great rock song playing
I have 2014 blacktop v6 everyone thinks it's a srt8 but I didnt get an rt v8 because I don't like the noise I like moving in silence it's always better
I’m thinking about buying that exact car. It has 130k miles. Do you think it’s a reliable car?
Short answer fuck no. The entry for muscle cars especially chargers should have always been the rt.
What year was yours? Was it AWD? And did you change the transmission oil as well?
A 2019 and no it was rear wheel and nah i never did
I should have
@@ronniesreviews2993 and never had a transmission issue nice, that means if I maintain it it’s going to last longer lol, I’m trying to decide between a fully load GT or a base v8 5.7 rt 🤔, I like the sound of a v8, but maybe I would be more comfortable with vented and heated leather seats in a v6 lmao 🤣
Bro I get 11 mpg on my gt😭😭 then again I be driving it hard tho
Lmao sheeshh
If yu drive that hard with a v8 you would be at like 8mpg😂😂
bro only had 1 coil for his spark plug go bad in 90k miles?! that’s impressive
I took good care of it
How did you get your hood rapped
I wrapped it myself
Wow! That is a lot of driving in 3 years. I thought I drove a lot with over 260k on my 2000 Dodge Neon, in 10 years.
I don't have it anymore, car accident 💥🚗🚔. But I do have a V6. The 2019 Chrysler 300, and was curious what you had to say about V6's. Glad you did, because I feel better about the misfire feeling, for the last couple of days.
Do yk how much they offer you for your car? If you were to trade it in
With almost 100k miles? With how the market is right now i wouldnt be surprised if they offered over 20K still, maybe 22
They offer me 25k for my 2019 Gt charger with 65k mileage
Im at 90k on my sxt with no issues
What year is your car?
I wanna get a V8 but not in a good money spot for that so I may go for the gt but I ain’t tryna get made fun of and I feel like people gonna judge a lot idk what to do man
Same bro I want a v8 tight on money but fuck it might get a v6 and mod it 🤷♂️
Just get a v6 you can always trade it in for a v8 when you stack up who cares let ppl hate its only guys girls don’t care
I’m stuck deciding between the Dodge Charger GT or a mustang ecoboost🤦🏽♂️
Thats what i was stuck on, the ecoboost is faster but i like the charger more tbh
Same
Go eco boost way more tuneability you can make an eco boost fast it's hard to make a gt fast
V6 Ford Ecoboosts have been famous for blowing head gaskets
@@mercvqcali2714you can’t just swap that bih? I’m used to civics so that shits like legos😂
Say bro I was looking at this dodge v6 charger & was tryn see if 19,000 100k miles valid?
I wouldnt take one with over 100k nah
@@ronniesreviews2993 why not?
A lot of cars start to have problems after 100k miles, especially american made cars
Is GT loud like theR/T?
No GT is a v6 and RT is v8
“Ignition coil”
To each there own at least you got a car . And it's a nice one does it have that drive it's self technology
My tesla does
👀👌
1st
💪🏼💪🏼
would you get a used v6 with about 150k miles on it
No….
I second that, no i wouldnt
No way. The payments you might pay for repairs are the same payments you can use to finance a newer car
If I get a v6 I’m going with China Made cars cause they v6s are made to last(infinitis, Nissan, Toyota, Lexus) USA makes great v8s tho
Definitely not worth it unless you can’t afford a higher trim, gas prices, or need AWD.
That simple honestly.
Some people dont want or feel the need for a bigger engine and as far as trims go the gt comes with everything inside as a hellcat, just doesnt have the full performance pages but everything else is the same
@@ronniesreviews2993 I mean no offense by my response but that is not true. People buy the GT or SXT to save money. I can agree that you don't need Hellcat power and such but there is no way you buy a V6 Charger or Challenger in anything other than AWD or to save $$.
No I know but some people really don’t like having loud V8’s and stuff. As far as like the dudes our age yea of course they would rather the V8 but there are a lot of people that really just like the V6’s how they are, enough power, not too loud, and still have mostly everything they need with the look of the higher trims you know
I have no urge for driving fast so I would be happy with a V6. I got all my racing around out in my teens & twenties. The only benefit of a V8 for me would be the sound. I'd rather have better gas mileage. But I would get the four cylinder Camaro/Mustang before a 6-cylinder Charger.
Homie staying broke on car payments
Fuck that
False, nice try tho
I had the 21 Dodge charger GT plus.
Major disappointment
The only reason for a Dodge charger is the V8.
Never again.
What was wrong with it
Cmon tell us why u hate it
everyone keeps saying it’s the same power as old v8s. times have changed, and it’s slow. compared to any modern v8. it’s a bad purchase. anyone who buys a v6 usually doesn’t know about the power difference between the models….and don’t have the money for a v8. they mod it, rice it out, and blow their money. just save up. and then buy a mustang. 👍
A v6 Charger shouldn't exist imo.
They all boutta be hybrids and turbo V6’s so youre going to love it
@@ronniesreviews2993 true i was just trolling a little haha
My rt get 12.6mpg 🥲
