REME at 70

As part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) also celebrated their 70 year anniversary. This film records some of the historic last parade in Wokingham Berkshire on June 3rd 2012 and shows some of the history of the unit.

Enjoyed the video ,Thanks . I was in REME in 1952 when most of recently trained "recruits" received their postings. Ended up in Munster Wesphalia with Centurions (17/21 Lancers attached )

Anyone seen Piggy Kemp (RSM. 1974) Bill Claypole (Capt. 1982 HQ Coy 2IC and then Major. QM) or John Wilkie (CSM. HQ Coy later RSM) all REME Depot, Arborfield.
