- From the first time I laid eyes on this watch, I knew I wanted one! But the original limited run of the Spinnaker 50 Phantoms collab with Seconde/Seconde sold out so quickly I was unable to obtain one.
When Spinnaker announced they were doing another unlimited run in blue, even better! I knew I had to get one. Today is "sort of" that day! I will review the blue 50 Phantoms. I hope you enjoy it!

I don't get it, is a ghost date a date that never shows up? What does dating have to do with a watch
@@henrylee8510 It’s when a movement with a date function is used in a watch without a cutout for the date on the dial. You then have to pull the crown past the “ghost” date to position 2, to the annoyance of many.
Mark I want to thank you. After watching your video I reached out to Spinnaker via email asking to be put on the wait list (mentioned your video and name of course). Got the reply today they had one for me, a Phantom Mist version. Also ordered the bracelet. Its such a fun watch, the play on the 50 fathoms a watch I will never own is wonderful.
Ordered one of each bezel variant and received both this week. Agree 200% that this is a truly unique and fun watch. Surprisingly, the build quality and attention to detail, from box to watch is superb!

Reminds me of a knife released to the knife collectors: The "Dessert Warrior"! It was a play on the "Desert Warrior", but in pink icing paint with sprinkles....like a donut. Sold like crazy.

I have the same watch on order. They said they're starting to ship now, so I expect to see it soon. I got the bracelet last week - it arrived in two days from HK, which is great service. It's a fun watch, for sure, and I'm glad I missed the limited edition, because I prefer the blue!

At first when I saw the thumbail, I thought 'why did they put a bunch of splotches of lume all over the dial', and then I went 'dawww' when I saw the ghosts. They remind me of the ghosts on Super Mario World that would give chase when you turned your back on them.

It's a fun watch. I initially pre ordered after failing to land the black model but ultimately cancelled it due to the size. It's just way too big for my wrist and would have ended up just a novelty in the watch box. Cool to see in review though.

I wasn't into it at all...until I saw the ghost rotor. That's cool.
But otherwise it just doesn't grab my interest. But, I'm glad people are excited about it.

The lume is definitely gonna be useless though at 3:00am when you go to check the time all bleary eyed and all you'll see is an indistinct blob of lume. 😂

Got the regular Fleuss in Lumber Black, paid $199. Nice watch and that stock strap is really nice.
Its not easy to read. The hour and minute hands disappear in the ghost pattern. Especially under the lume. I believe the idea of a functional watch is to be able to tell time when you glance at it. When I have study the dial just to decipher the time then its not for me.
…it also looks like a map of Russian burned down refineries 🤣
