The really unfortunate thing here is that all of the codecs were ported in from Super Smash Bros Brawl, making a lot of them not make as much sense as they do now, such as Zelda becoming Shiek and BotW Link wearing green. This is also why only a small portion of the roster has codecs, and why they keep referring to Smash Bros as "Brawl".
Snake is just as old asd the others actually, just he didnt really bercome who he was till the more recent games. and recent as i mean in the last 20 years.
The only part that I hated was that Wario was said to have made his name from the Wario Ware games instead of Wario Land where he was an actual character, had lore and those games are older.
Still annoys me how the Wario in Smash hardly counts as Wario. He has like one, maybe two Wario land moves, he's a bit disappointing as a WarioWare rep too. The worst part is that he was officially seen as gross farty man after this. Miyamoto even kept him out of NSMB, because "he'd use a fart attack." which isn't true at all, unless you look at Smash.
The reason why Snake doesn't like Sonic is because the grandfather of Snake's Japanese voice actor played as Dr. Eggman.

Flint had to be knocked out and dreamt the last time he saw his wife as she and the boys went to go visit Flint's dad before the pig mask army arrived. Lucas's twin brother Claus went missing to avenge his mom but then...
While Flint and his couldn't find him, Claus was seen behind a rock unconscious which was very disturbing and he was soon captured by the pigmask army and turn him into brainwashed cyborg weapon. At the end became even sadder.
So why does the colonel sound like grandpa max from Ben 10
Because he's Paul Eiding
Every time I hear this, snake sounds like wolferine to me
"Mei Ling! Samus took her clothes off!"
7:27 is by far a MGS specific thing; I'm not gonna go into too much detail (Mainly because the Metal Gear lore is a doozy of a lore dive...), also because of spoilers: the "la li lu le lo" is a reference to a shadow group that specialise in information and suppression
This makes me want to play smash bros again 😭 now I'm gonna fire it up for the 500th time
If you liked this, I also Recommend Pit, Palutena and Viridi Reacting to All Characters (Pautena’s Guidance) Super Smash Bros Ultimate!
It’s an hour long, but there’s good humour, and it works so well if you understand Pit’s character
Dang it kinda sucks they didnt update the callsm they are all rom Brawl. They even mentioned its name.
Or add new ones in.
If Japanese staffs(especially Kojima himself) willingly recast some of the Metal Gear Characters who's passed away, the codecs will be updated.
Yesssss! Glad you guys got to this one so soon.
🥳🥳
So rude about you talk about snake capture yoshi 💢🔥 7:02 and now you respect him wow!!
I said this before on one of your smash reactions, but it would be awesome to react to all the mii costumes in Ultimate.
its just sad they only brought back the Smash Bros Brawl ones, and didn't anything new for Sm4sh and Ultimate newcomers
*I'd like to see you guys check out the perk jingles from Call Of Duty Zombies*
Super smash bros ultimate conversation on dlc characters
This was a good reaction and my Favourite moments were with Lucario, Samus, Luigi and Pikachu and why not reaction to Paulentina’s Guidance for Smash Bros Ultimate next.
I know its a long shot but you guys should really check out the metal gear solid 1 expleened video by internet historian (though the video is like 2h long so it'd need to be parts oof), its internet historian explaining the plot of metal gear solid 1 giving ton of lore, otherwise if you guys did max0r's metal gear solid videos that would be amazing too 👀
Nice video as always!
You guys should react to more Tekken endings, more specifically Tekken 1,2,3 and Tag Team 2
More Tekken to come especially with 8 coming out later this year or next year 😅
YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAH! SNAKE’S CODEX IS HEEEEEEERE!
Did the video skip Palutena and Lucina or are they not in this smash bros?
This is in Ultimate. However there’s no new ones. They only reused the ones from Brawl.
This is recycled from Brawl.
@@EntertainmentFan11Albeit, with the mention of Link’s Clawshot from Brawl being taken out.
There are fan-made Palutena's guidance that goes into all the ones that don't get covered in the game. There are also ones from the same creator called Hades' guidance that I also get a kick out of.
still hoping you guys do a reaction to a timeline on bioshock rapture. you did one on big daddies in Paroticlar but all of rapture has a great one.
Fight Night Friday!
Awesome Video!
Such great codex haha :3
New MK1 Lin Keui Trailer reaction soon?
The really unfortunate thing here is that all of the codecs were ported in from Super Smash Bros Brawl, making a lot of them not make as much sense as they do now, such as Zelda becoming Shiek and BotW Link wearing green. This is also why only a small portion of the roster has codecs, and why they keep referring to Smash Bros as "Brawl".
Mk 1 new trailer is out💫
I wanna see your reaction guys💛
Is not form a fighting game but maybe the specials form the game bust a groove 0w0
Fight Night!!! 👊👊
I hope think turn ok for Lucas. If only they knew💀
I was enjoying the video and reactions but then I got distracted by your little puppy. What kind is he/she?
Snake is just as old asd the others actually, just he didnt really bercome who he was till the more recent games. and recent as i mean in the last 20 years.
Sounds like you need to watch the story of Metal Gear now. Hope you have 6 hours.
Will you please play metal gear solid 1 2 n 3
Does this woman have only a few kinds of clothes?Lol
انتم ثنائي رائع😍
The only part that I hated was that Wario was said to have made his name from the Wario Ware games instead of Wario Land where he was an actual character, had lore and those games are older.
Still annoys me how the Wario in Smash hardly counts as Wario. He has like one, maybe two Wario land moves, he's a bit disappointing as a WarioWare rep too. The worst part is that he was officially seen as gross farty man after this. Miyamoto even kept him out of NSMB, because "he'd use a fart attack." which isn't true at all, unless you look at Smash.
Pretty sure they meant that in the way of how popular the Wario Ware games are.
GameXplain has their own rendition of Smash Codecs for non Brawl fighters, and then some
They're hilarious
Almost forgot about the Kid Icarus Palutena's Guidance
As well as Hades Misguidance
You're thinking of "Zelda Universe"
4th!
whens tlou2 coming?
Uh why'd the video just skip Mewtwo and like 25% of the characters?
No new lines were recorded after brawl because Colonel's Japanese va passed away, and they wanted to respect his legacy
David Hayter still offered to do new lines for Snake in general, however.
