- The hit series Schitt’s Creek is back for a fourth season on Pop (premieres January 24 at 8 pm), and its creators and stars - father and son Eugene and Daniel Levy - are back at 92Y with co-stars Annie Murphy, and Emily Hampshire. Moderated by Mandi Bierly, Deputy Editor of Yahoo Entertainment.
The hilarious series follows the travails of a wealthy video-store magnate, his soap-star wife, and their two twentysomething children when they lose all their money and wind up in the backwoods town of Schitt’s Creek. What misadventures will Season 4 bring? Join this team of brilliant funny people as they dish about their show and about playing one of TV’s most delightfully dysfunctional families.

Annie is SURPRISINGLY calm and quiet - something I did not expect based on how she absolutely killed her character in the show
Eugene nailed it- that scene when David reveals he worried so much about his sister and she had no idea- that scene choked me up/I could relate as an older sib
this moderator/interviewer is quite good - i appreciate mandi's high caliber of questions and comments, and feedback to the cast was really supportive and insightful.

I got into this show late and binged it on Netflix. It’s amazing. My daughter and I have watched all seasons about 5 times now. All the characters are great, but we tend to imitate Moira the most. 😆
Dan and Eugene are so respectful of each other and of their audience - they want to craft stories that "earn" the audience's reaction. I actually enjoy the series more based on what I've learned about their creative process and their relationships as actors and producers. This show is deep, and kind, and lovely - so much better than anything else on TV. I hope they all work together on future projects.

Schitt's Creek, one show you could never stop watching over and over again, like I love Lucy & The Golden Girls. I'm 64 years old and am privileged to say I very much enjoy Schitt"s Creek.let me mention, David and stevie resembles 2 of my children, handsome family.

The demographic of this show should not reach me but as a middle aged streight black woman living in the Midwest I LOVE it!

I'm in my first rewatch now. I watched all five seasons in like a week and a half (finished on Christmas). I'm in S2/E3 now. ha ha (: Thanks Netflix!! I am sad it took me SOOO long to FINALLY watch it. I've have needed it in my life. (: Love David, and Patrick. (: 😍

THE Best show on tv, they are all so great, so funny, so sweet...amazing, I got caught on the first 5 minutes and until today ( 2021 and I saw them all until the end ) noting has a fault or a minute that is not the best.

Emily Hampshire just named the movie/spinoff in my opinion. Stevie's Family. The Roses reunite to help Stevie deal with the death of her estranged father and new responsibility of caring for her mother and troubled siblings.

The only thing i don't like about these interviews with the cast is that Emily and Annie do NOT talk enough. I love Dan but he over powers it a little.
He CREATED & WRITES the show, he is star & show runner. Emily & Annie have their jobs & characters' dialogues BECAUSE of Dan!

@@videovoidtv I'm not a comedian by trade but I'm funny as hell. This host made a good joke, but it was dry & I've noticed dry humour in the states doesn't go over well. I don't know if Americans in general don't understand it or have their heads too far up their own arses, but yes, of course people who aren't paid to be comedians can have a joke with them, it happens all the time. Not everyone needs to - or will ever - agree that everything any person does is perfect & wonderful. Who cares, get over yourselves.
