@@ioana938 YES! I thought so too. Johnny’s defence of Roland and Jocelyn and the town was so heartening and rich with awareness and kindness. It was a big turning point for Johnny and the family. I cried too!
The coronavirus quickly put me in a dark place. I saw an episode of the Kelly Clarkson show with Eugene Levy where Kelly raved about Schitt's Creek so I checked it out. Thank God I did...what a show and what an amazing cast! Only show in forever that made me LOL Thank you Daniel Levy!
The entire cast is very special. I love each and every one for different reasons. Thank you Dan Levy for all the laughs. I notice that you've written many of the episodes. This show had made me laugh uncontrollably but it has also made me cry with deeply, felt emotions. I.love this show and the cast.
I LOVE 'Schitt's Creek' and I'm sorry to read that they're filming the final season. What Dan Levy (along with his famously funny father, Eugene) has created is a show that deals with classism, greed, media-obsession, LGBTQ issues, rural life, and relationships with genuine humor, silliness, style, and....always....with love and affection! I still can't help but shed a tear whenever I watch the 'open mic night' serenade scene between David and his boyfriend. Well done and many thanks to you, Mr. Levy, for all the joy you've brought us....you're all simply the best!
This show has changed my life. Honestly, I was on the verge of suicide and then the show really changed my life and brightened up my life. Thanks, Schitt's creek.
Rebekah LaSala You never lost your light..it just dimmed. To have that connection to something that ignited that spark of life back is amazing. I’m so glad you’re here to inspire that hope in others. Never forget that your light never goes out, and all we need is that jump start to get it back. Peace and love, and again, so glad you’re here with us laughing, loving and living. 🙏🏼🕊❤️
Same. I was going through a very dark period. This show helped me get back into life again. I am glad we found this show. You are not alone. ♥️ keep on keeping on.
What amazes me about this comedy is how skillfully they balance the heart at the center of this family's story without ever becoming cliched or syrupy about it.
I think tv that's not saturated with overly political crap is refreshing. Breaths on its own. True timeless television isn't super specific. It's real life in a exaggerated way. Canadian influence IMO. Notice how the reboots of 90s shows pale in comparison. While some are fun, none are even close to being as timeless. Except Twin Peaks. The failures/lacklusters ones don't live up because they were made to mimick the original or in the case of Will and Grace, be purely political crapfests. Twin Peaks was fresh because Lynch is masterful and a true artist, creating things as he goes, based on a loose concept. I think it's great that we're in another television golden age. I hope people try to reach audiences the way SC does
Watched this TV show from the beginning because I figured with Eugene Levy and a title like that.... it HAD to be great. Then you see the rest of cast and HOLY COW! Best comedy to come around since The Office. You can all keep your unfunny Big Bang Theories -- I'm good with this.
Bit offensive with the Big Bang Theory there, Louis Ippolito. I absolutely adore this show and have watched the entire three seasons 10 times in the last weeks. But I do also love BBT. No need to diss on another funny show.
100% agreed! I say this all the time! It's been a long time coming since we've had a great comedy come along since The Office, Parks And Rec, Sunny, etc. I know Sunny is still around, but it lost some of it's mojo. So glad this show is doing great! I hope they don't change their format in a mainstream sense since it's become so popular.
I'm 2 years late on your comment, and I've never seen the office before. However tonight my son started watching the show and said it reminds him of the office. So I guess your theory doesn't just lie with you.
I admit I've been living under a rock when it comes to tv....it was so bad at one point that I just went without cable for years...then I discovered GOOD streaming through Netflix and Amazon Prime and discovered so many wonderful series--this being one of them. The name deterred me until I realized it contained Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy. I started having flashbacks to "Best in Show." I was like-these two are comedy GOLD. I was not disappointed. Then to discover Dan Levy and Annie Murphy and the rest of the supporting cast. There is not one bad actor on this show. I've been binge watching for two weeks and finally made it to Season 5. I haven't laughed out loud this hard and this long in a while. It truly lifts my spirits. I love this show!
Same here. I've been off the tv grid for a long time but recently discovered there's a treasure trove out there via streaming. I was also put off by the name (made me think it would be all low-brow humor, which doesn't interest me), but I'm an old SCTV fan and was intrigued to see what EL and COH were up to. I love Schitt's Creek. Not one bad actor. Amazing wardrobe. Story lines cover a lot of ground. Dry humor = my fav. I even love the music theme! Can't get enough of this show.
This show has changed my life,I have so many times almost fallen off the couch laughing but the joy it has brought me I can’t say enough... I have never laughed so hard! This show is brilliant.. the cast is fabulous, and perfectly cast.... I hope they consider more episodes! This is so good for the soul! Thank you Eugene and Daniel Levy for brilliant writing but Catherine O’Hara is just brilliant! Everyone in the cast is perfect! I love this series!
I am embarrassed to say this out loud. I shed a couple tears hearing Eugene talk about working with his son. Oh my God, how much do I love all these people. Catherine, I also love my home and try very hard not to ever leave it!!!
Catherine and Dan really hit on the thing that I love about the show...they're not crooked people, just out of touch. I think it's why I'm amazed to say that I like Schitt's Creek more than Arrested Development because the two shows share the razor-sharp wit and cleverness, but AD always had kind of an underlying meanness to it. I mean, when you think about it, everyone in the Bluth family is trying to one-up each other and screw each other over (except for George Michael and Buster), and everything came at the expense of someone. With Schitt's Creek they're so over the top, but when it comes down to it, they ultimately really love each other, and they're GOOD PEOPLE who mean well.
NorthWriter i have never seen Arrested Development, but Schitt’s Creek is a paradigm changing show. Smart, clever, warm, and funny. No homophobia or racism. It is a world we should strive for.

Incredible chemistry and great writing created this masterpiece.
As much as I absolutely loved this show I wish these interviews would also include all the other phenomenal actors/actresses on the show that formed Schitts Creek and really helped make the show so successful. This show was so much more than the four Rose’s.

This show is probably one of my favorite shows ever! Thank you Daniel Levy, You are the bomb!!! You are my favorite character on the show! This show brightens my day, no matter what mood I'm in. Deevid (david) makes me happy!!!
Being from rural Southwestern Ontario, where this show is filmed, I loved the conversation here, about "June Bugs". Omg. These cretins used to plaster the sides of every building: they would paint the door of every building, as you tried to grab the handle, to walk in. There is a week or two, in Southwestern Ontario, where you cannot move, for being assaulted by them. I love how everyone kinda mocks Dan here, as he tries to validate his disgust. News to the wise: we mostly call them "Fish Flies", in SW Ontario.
Eugene and Daniel talk the most in all the interviews I watched so far haha. Keep trying to find interviews where I can hear Annie and Catherine more ^ . ^

This show is amazing! Love watching father and son, they are both hysterical. Hope there are many seasons to come.
idk why i always avoided the show until two of my closest friends raved about it and damnit were they right
Love this show !!!
Catherine OHara’s character is exactly like my sister.I love all the characters
This show is probably one of my favorite shows ever! Thank you Daniel Levy, You are the bomb!!! You are my favorite character on the show! This show brightens my day, no matter what mood I'm in. Deevid (david) makes me happy!!!
David and Patrick " simply the best "
Love,love,love these ywo.
Even if you aren't disgusted by them, they're enormous. How do you ignore a two inch bug flying into your face?
Northern MN, too. Just shut off all lights in town to prevent piles of them blocking sidewalks by morning.
Northern NY has these monstrous creatures as well. Clinging to the porch screen door like nightmares.
I love this show because I feel like I can watch it with almost anybody.
If you measure a man by the thickness of his frames, the Levys are titans.
I like how she pronounced "Levy" differently within 3 seconds when introducing Eugene vs Dan.
i noticed that too
Love David saying..."I don't really know what that means. "
When Dan says "wow" at 39:09, that's such a David thing to do lol.
I would love to see Annie's audition
I owe this show so much. Idk what it is about it...after watching it 4-5 times it still lifts my spirit like nothing else
Eugene and Daniel talk the most in all the interviews I watched so far haha. Keep trying to find interviews where I can hear Annie and Catherine more ^ . ^
Madlybs Daniel seems to enjoy the spotlight
@@macie7770 maybe Daniel is the one who create, write and produce the show . The tend to ask him more🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
What gracious and hilarious people. My twin sister and I love this show. It's a great show of the dynamics that hold a family together.
Thank you..you made me laugh back to good health. Coming out of American politics, I was burnt out, then laughed right back into health.
