Tyler Perry yes! They are so endearing to watch❤️. And I love how respectful he always is with his father. I wish all parents treated their kids coming out, with the level of normalcy that Eugene and his wife did with Dan.
The chemistry between Eugene and Catherine is so strong that I thought they were married. They are such gigantic talents and super stars and yet so humble and down to earth. They created such explosive energy and humor it really created a dynamic success of that show.

@@RalphS223 That was not a show, it was a sketch on a comedy sketch show, SCTV, similar in many ways to Saturday Night Live, but not done live. i think Andy was surprised that she wrote it because in the USA, many early SNL female writers and performers, like Jane Curtain, have gone on record that it was difficult to get their sketches on air. John Belushi, was very on record that he didn’t think women were funny and often tried to mess up their sketches. So often Gilda would have to fight for them, but she was not a fighter so she would end up crying in the dressing room and then John would have to go apologize to her because he knew she was funny, and no one wanted to hurt Gilda. I will be so so so sad when the show is over. I feel like I know everyone in the cast and that they are my best friends! Best show EVER. Love to all of them.
My Dad worked at CBC (in the back, back, background) on Schitts Creek and would attend meetings that included the cast. Dad always said they were all so great in real life. As an SCTV Eugene Levy fan, Mr. Levy was apparently joking around with my Dad and so happy to sign an autograph and joke around with an old fan. They're a fantastic family, cast, crew and show.

OK this is my six degrees of Dan Levy (only it's like 2 or 1 degree) I was a second assistant director (talent wrangler) on the Kelly Clarkson video 'Behind These Hazel Eyes' I worked mostly with Ms Clarkson so I can't honestly say I remember the 'wedding guests' but I do remember filming in a church in Toronto near Upper Canada College and how crazy it all was as a fairly large crowd gathered outside chanting "Kelly Kelly Kelly". I truly wish I'd paid more attention to the fact Dan was one of the guests!!! Oh and I absolutely LOVE Schitts Creek Congratulations to the entire cast and crew on a remarkable, funny, touching Canadian made series.

I’m very late but one thing I love so much about Schitts Creek, even though Dan Levy grew up to a famous Hollywood actor, he is still able to write small town people and their lives so well. Thank you for having the cast of Schitts Creek on. It is great to see Canada on the map again for us. Catherine and Eugene are comedy legends and it is amazing to see how amazing Dan has done. It was so nice to see the whole cast march in the gay pride parade in Toronto too.

I've been watching Ohara and Levy for 40 years and they are the epitome of comedy genius, both at the top of the game.
The network that supported it was CBC in Canada. Then Netflix after a few seasons in to distribute it internationally.
I love this show. Simple and so funny. Love the father son duo. And I love Daniel he’s a great actor. So funny.
I just binged all the seasons in a few weeks and when they talked about the Meet The Parents episode I realised I hadn't seen it. I somehow missed that one! So I got an extra new episode to watch, what a treat :)
