Schitt”s Creek is the only series that I have ever rewatched as soon as I finished all seasons! It makes me laugh out loud, like nothing else!
Being bi myself, this show destroys the barriers that I knew about cinema. I started watching Schitts Creek as a funny comedy (usually not into comedies). The weirdest thing that this show did - it made comedy real, meaningful and authentic. It may the Canadian crew, the time we live in or very hard work of the directors, but Schitt's Creek is possibly the most real TV show out there that manages to translate meaningful and deeply essential moments that people can relate to.

Noah Ritz Dan was just on a radio station here in the Us (much o my surprise) and talked about how he very consciously made David’s character pansexual and very consciously made it have almost no relevancy in the plot, aside from romantically, to emphasize that sexual identity is as much of a secondary/nondefining factor for these less represented characters as it is for any hetero character

As soon as I discovered this show I binge watched the first 3 seasons in a couple weeks. I'm obsessed and am SO excited for season 4 to start here!!!

Same. Didn’t do myself any favours by watching three seasons in a week and now having to wait. For me it’s up there with Park and Rec and 30 Rock. I love how they kept the family loveable despite their weirdness.
hahaha!!! I agree about watching them so quickly and now having to wait. I'm actually watching it again and am seeing and getting things I hadn't before. I LOVE the episode at the party where they all get together and dance, it's a beautiful moment and I've watched that part several times.

Johnny always looks handsome and immaculate in his suits, head of the family, ex mogul and the straightman in the scenes. I mean it works. He's the glue that keeps it all together. And the expressions he makes when there is a situation are priceless.
Elissa Valle god he’s my fav character and how awkward he is. He desperately tries to stick everyone together, but also tries to cling to his pride unfortunately complicating things

I love this show and the cast so much but I'm a little disappointed that the interviewer didn't direct any questions to Emily.....not a good way to conduct an interview.
Marg C Yes, and there are hardly ever questions about David (and Patrick). It's almost always about Moira, Johnny and Roland/Chris.

The bronze "Elvis" suit as Roland called it was my favorite Moira fashion moment. So amazing!
Best comedy series ever. Right up there with Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development. Absolutely brilliant throughout. I just wish they would get off of commercial TV and give us longer episodes.
I watch them on Amazon Prime. I don’t have cable or local tv.

One element that baffles me about the storyline is that David owns the town by deed, yet we never see him making any money from it. If he's the owner, is anybody doing business or living in the town paying him money, like they should? I found it odd that he had to lease the space for the apothecary when he owned the town and still does, according to the deed. Then there's Johnny ordering his kids out of a motel that Stevie owns. Also, it would make sense to expand the motel with more rooms since there only appear to be five.
This comedy is timeless and I have watched the show for the third time as of this date and I think Dan Levy is very cute and a very talented actor
I love this show! It is sooo funny, I just love the characters, the story lines, the writing is excellent, so is the acting! One of my new favorite comedies, along with Modern family, Big Bang Theory, and some other great comedies. It is so quaint and endearing. I hope and think there will be many more seasons pass season 4

Matt Forte is an AWFUL host
it's also the seating. Emily should have sat closer to the center. In the show Stevie is essential as the quiet center, and she's no pain on the eyes either.
Unique show written well and look forward to watching, (we are fortunate to get here in the USA)

Are most of you in here Canadian? As big as Eugene Levy is here too (in the US), and as hilarious a show as this is, and as popular as it seems in Canada...it shocks me that I’d have never heard of this if not for my Canadian gf. It’s nowhere to be seen here...

I loved the cast and enjoy any time I hear them talking about the brilliant Schitt's Creek. However, they should get a different host. This guy is NOT a good interviewer. And he seems quite disinterested in their answers AND he all but ignored Emily, who has such an important role in the show.
Anyhoo, I'm with Eugene. I'm glad they didn't have any guest stars on Schitt's Creek. The show is too good to be used as a feather in the cap of some celebrity. It's about being a town of regular people and the "celebrities" in the town ARE The Roses! There should never be anyone there who pulls focus from that fish out of water story.

The Roses didn’t move to Schitt’s Creek because they wanted to. Johnny bought the town as a joke for his son’s birthday, because of the town’s name. They only moved there because they lost everything and could live there for “next to nothing until you get back on your feet”

This host is horrible. I love this show and get it, he doesn’t so his questions seem hollow and disconnected.

I feel I can say this with quite a bit of confidence: no one has ever found that host amusing.
He acts like he is a whole lot better, funnier, and smarter than the four guests, but that is all wrong.
I feel mean for saying it but I've never clicked on an interview and immediately disliked a host so much, and I can't put my finger on why. I think he just seems fake and smarmy.
