My only critique is that I would like to see more camera angles, especially during takeoff and landing. The sky is nice, but I want to see the pilots working.
pilot558pl That's not true at all. You can search for cockpit videos on RUclips, and pull up 1000's of cockpit videos shot at multiple angles using Go Pro cameras.

Is there so much steering input because of winds even though it flies relatively straight?
It's slow and sloppy and needs big inputs to make much change to its pitch and roll in gusty winds. Like a boat captain in rolling seas with slow forward motion.

They seem relatively small for a 737. 😂😂 Watch a cockpit landing in gusty conditions and you will see large inputs. 😉

fixed plans on the sweeper is not so interesting even if of course the skies are nice.. I prefer when there is some assembling of different views and we can actually see the instruments, the pilots ( unless their nose itches...)

Everytime I watch a real cockpit video it makes me feel as if I were watching FSX and crashing into those tiny buildings would not affect anybody lol
The only major thing I would change in my life is that I would have become a pilot. I'm still going to pursue my dream, but it will end at a basic, general aviation ticket. I want to be flying the big jets! I'm sure I'll be grateful just to be able to fly anything, can't wait! Hopefully see some of you guys up there!
Great clip. Not being a pilot, it was amazing to see control tick comp right after takeoff.
All good pilots do it to make the ride more comfortable for the passengers. I still need to do it. My takeoffs make it seem like the planes still tethered to the ground

Is it too late to become a pilot when you're 25 ? I want to take the atpl licence. I've heard after completing the course you will be able to apply for jobs as an airline pilot. Or do I need more that an ATPL licence ? I know they also require a certain amount of flying hours, but how can you earn them if you don't get the job haha

Search on websites because it might differ country to country, but for us tea drinking old chaps here in England, you need to complete a course which gets you your twin, jet ifr ratings. Then, they give you a frozen atpl and your pilot wings. You then get the job, get the jet orientation (to tell you how to apply your training to that plane), and you sit on the right hand seat. Then, after countless hours, your atpl gets unfrozen, and you become the bigshot.
I have the 737 300 for flight Sim and already have 200h of flight time with this Old Bird. And I Just say, ITS AWSOME

I've spent a few holidays in Halkidiki, thus I'm quite familiar with the road to Salonic. Summertime there is some nice air traffic on this airport . Thanks for the opportunity to have a completely different perspective of the region. From the road I've never noticed the landscape is this fragmented. If you can ever shoot a video with some 10/28rwy activity would be nice.

I always love watching pilots at work because they are so fast and so good at their jobs (like at the end of this video). Especially when it comes to the switches, knobs, buttons, and levers.
Where does this “searching” or (checking back of the control column) prior to the “flare” come from? Is this an indication of a loss of basic airmanship?

+Hoorf is it a matter of different styles of pilots or do all pilots do the same? Also, how do pilots land exactly on the Center line?
+Hoorf thanks. Pardon my limited knowledge but ifr gives the horizontal component correct? But even on its approach pilots switch off the auto pilot before landing and try to keep the horizontal component Parker in the Center and then by making corrections they land it on the Center line right?
+Hoorf also why don't pilots use the approach feature while landing where ils is available and there are no crosswinds and the weather is good? Why do pilots switch off auto pilot before landing?

What speed was he coming in at cause I normally bring it in about 140 knots but he looked very quick coming in for landing
Using 140kts to every time u land is a bad habit. What if u were heavier than usual or were flying a different plane. Landing speed is al dependent on weight and type of aircraft.
