It will be interesting to see how well that red dot works out on the Mauser, Looks like you could still load with stripper claips with the sight mounted forward like that.

That's was one of my goals with mounting like that. Although I don't know how well the cheap micro red dot will hold up to recoil, if it's promising I may shell out the money for something a little more durable. I'm really looking forward to getting it on the range.

I had a supppper cheap one on my 10mm just to see if I would like a red dot on a pistol and it lasted almost one magazine lol. But yeah it looks good on there

It's all about the aesthetic, hopefully with the weight of the GSG and less recoil of the 9mm I get two maybe even three mags through it.
