Highway 2000 Expansion - Clarendon to Manchester

We take to the road, presenting something a little different, and bring to you the Highway 2000 expansion project - May Pen to Williamsfield leg, in the parishes of Clarendon and Manchester, respectively.
The current highway pans the entire stretch easterly from May Pen through the rest of Clarendon, the entire parish of St. Catherine before matching on to Mandela Highway in Kingston. This new leg goes in the opposite direction (westerly), matching the parishes of Clarendon to Manchester, exiting just at the Williamsfield round-about.
At the time of recording, we observed a few workers at the section we captured, some other workers were dispatched in and around the toll booth area. The project is due for completion soon and the new highway (or new leg) will run from Manchester to Kingston and vice versa, along the South Coast. This will significantly reduce the travelling time for those plying the route.
