That is an amazing looking construction. When you went high, we got a great look and I can truly appreciate these two toll booths, but we really get a good look at this section of this highway. Spectacular is a perfect word to use. It is beautiful to look at and to know that it is in the land of my birth is so sweet. It is very clear that it is being well received by the driving public. Free until the end of the year is a very good idea. Why does it still have partial blockage of the road that access the small toll plaza? Thanks my brother for another great update. A spectacular update.

Well done and detailed as usual, drone view JA.
I'm my opinion the highway is free till December because the highway isn't 100% complete. The roadway itself is complete, but tweeks are still needed to make it 100% operational. instead of further delaying the opening, the prime minister allows it to be opened free to users while the contractors fully complete the project. Smart move on his part for many reasons, including politically.

Very fair and legitimate reason, and yes; this is an extremely good power move by the Prime Minister. Kinda hard to argue against free stuff tho, lol.

Thank you sir for another fantastic video of this great and fantastic road work done by Chec and locals which have given us a marvelous road to all drive on. Thank you for your committed dedication to bring us the latest on this highway,I enjoyed it fully. The views and the greenery is spectacular with high quality. See that they wisely meet the deadline but with the minor works thats left this project will soon be totally finish with the grass fully grown.

Drove the entire length from Williams field to Kingston on Sunday and back. It was such a pleasure. Excellent road except for two crazy drivers who were stopped literally side by side in the westbound lane at the May Pen interchange just at the overpass. Gawking? Missed the exit to May Pen? Don't know but the heights of careless driving. God be with us. No road sense or awareness in so many road users.

I drove the old route from Westmoreland to Spanish town last year and boy that was a drive. I'm pleased with the infrastructure developments, in my opinion it's slow and piecemeal however this is a huge upgrade. As I looked at this video, I wonder why the designers didn't think to make yam park a more inclusive rest/food stop by placing it in the median allowing travelers in each direction to access. It'd would have been a unique attraction/treasure and would ensure a revenue stream for those vendors. I think the same or similar should've been done with the faiths pen jerk center.

Thank you so much for this lovely Toll Gate toll booth drone video. As usual your drone skills are on full display, your explanations are crystal clear and with the amount of detail you went into it almost feels like I visited the place lol. Plus, the captions you added in are a very nice surprise, I didn't have to use the extremely flawed RUclips auto-captions feature once. Again, your attention to details knows no bounds.
You say this highway is the first of its kind in Jamaica, and definitely I agree. In addition to the two separate toll booths, I don't think a lot of people realize the significance of that circular bit of road on the highway. That's called a turnpike and developed countries have loads of them (sometimes at the same interchange). I believe Jamaica is the first country in the CARICOM Caribbean to have one.
Are you also going to make a Merlose Hill Bypass Highway interchange video? That would be welcome as well.

excellent video as always. The entrance from Pourus is still a sore thumb. Notice they setting up the part on the left side above the Yam park for parking, but they might as well built another yam stalls over their for they have kill the original park for income from vehicles going west.

29:17 parking lot for yam park for westbound, they should have build an access road for that location and build a westbound yam park? because that's a long walking from the parking lot to the underpass to the original yam park 😢
