We do feel they will indeed complete this project and others that are in the works. They're moving at a steady pace and with each passing day, more and more work is being done.
A major reason for Montego Bay's lack of urban expansion is the very rugged limestone hills around the city...this highway will be a game-changer towards opening up the previously inaccessible areas behind the city for urban development (a reality that will allow Mobay to once again surpass Spanish Town and Portmore in urban population density...
Much appreciated! We have done a few videos on the area prior, so as not to be overly repetitive, we omitted some of the information. We still hope it was informative enough as we gave new information in various sections of the video. Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed the tour!
Bless up your self brother another great video as always one question 🙋🏾♂️ I been asking portmore 6 lanes highway 🛣 causeway is it considered a bridge because if it’s I would think it is longer than this in mobay
Nice video The Barnet river is not yet rerouted as the bridge they built there is for the runoff from Granville and Tucker the river at section will be rerouted away from the bypass The bypass will cross the river once on the Sign Orange road
Thank you very much. There are some sections along the projected path in which some persons have not yet been relocated. If you pay attention to the section of the video just as we are about to jump from Irwin to Fairfield, you can still some houses and little areas where lands are being cleared.
I only have one problem.. with the contractor who are building the road, why them didn't split the mountain. Them love send the drivers over the ditch lol
@@TylerLynval in your mind .. highways are past due in Jamaica this one lane traffic kill’s people and take forever to go where’s you want to go Jamaica too far behind .. and debts are being paid
@@Corey49 with all you've said here I think that they are underbuilding this highway by not adding space on the roadway's margins for an additional two HOV/emergency vehicle lanes given that this road will soon become greatly congested as the rural lands around the bypass urbanizes and densifies....since the government plans to build out housing schemes/estates across the adjoining hills that be opened up by this Perimeter road.....
@@TylerLynval What debt? When the PNP left office in 2016, the debt as a percentage of GDP was 147 percent. It is now 72 and will fall to 68 percent in April next year. This project is being done with the resources of the GOJ, not borrowed money!
Why they keep making the lanes so narrow. A truck is 8 ft wide and the lanes are 8 ft. That doesn't leave any room for sway error. This is one of those times I wished they had copied the Americans. Roads are supposed to be 12 ft not 8ft. Poor engineering.
@Gfjhdyin A person with intelligence would have asked the question before making a stupid statement. Common sense alone is more than enough to let anyone know that 2 trucks traveling in the same direction often find it hard to do so on our narrow roads I guess you don't get out much or don't observe what's happening when you're out.
Thank you guys for your good work we cant all leave this beautiful country and her good people may the good lord bless you

That is quite a development

Thank you very much. Yes, we will do one soon
Great video. Would've loved a more detailed narrative, though

Damn all that beautiful empty landscape need to develop into a state of houses or business development
With new infrastructures like highways, new investment opportunities and other developments will follow.
Now taxi can run from Falmouth to Westmoreland an nuh affi go ina mobay town
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you!

Thank you very much sir! We will have to look into it as that is the information given regarding this bridge. Hence we stated "it is said to be".

Great video bro did i hear that the Bridge 600plus feet long
Thank you very much sir. From our information, that is correct
@@DronesEyeView oh okay
You are welcome
Why all roads being toll roads tho
this is a big deal, jamaica is on the move!
Yes it is. Looking forward to greater things.
Very good. Any idea how they plan to bridge the gap between Irwin and Fairfield?.
Thank you very much. There are some sections along the projected path in which some persons have not yet been relocated. If you pay attention to the section of the video just as we are about to jump from Irwin to Fairfield, you can still some houses and little areas where lands are being cleared.
What drone are you using?
DO YOU THINK THEY WILL BE WALKING 🚶🏿♂️ LANES ON THE BRIDGE 🌉???
I hope no one drive on that highway until they make it FREE
😂
I wonder if all the property owners who have had property taken for this much needed project have been paid u[ in full...
If you have not heard any noise from them, it means they have paid
I only have one problem.. with the contractor who are building the road, why them didn't split the mountain. Them love send the drivers over the ditch lol
Where’s the drainage? I don’t see any
You do know that's know that not the 1st major road constructed by chec. We have never had flooding on road constructed by chec.
Will there be toll both on the bypass?
Question answered farther in video
WE THE TAXPAYERS are paying for this construction, no money was borrowed. WE WILL HAVE TO PAY TO DRIVE ON IT. Total F#CKRY
Working government don’t listen the noise in the market
Only thing he is doing is adding more debt

Go and show them how it's done
Talk Talk Talk Bold opinions, what have you ever built

@Headonwriter intelligence isn't everything that's why I'm asking if you have such a strong opinion why dont you go show them how it's done?
It's not even 8 feet regularly run down old roads are even wider than 8 feet
I would love to kno how the connection to the northcoast highway ironsore going to be??
the road is looking wonderful from the view thanks for keeping us posted. big ups to you and the entire team
Why is every highway in Jamaica have to be toll ? Is Jamaicans so rich every time u drive out you have to pay to drive on it our tax is not enough
