Why do non-gatcha games aspire to deliver this level of fluidity in animation and combat? We blame gatcha games but its the other games needs to be blamed that don't put that much effort in to be fair.

Every game is a gacha game at this point.
Genshin alone makes them over $1 Billion a year so it makes sense that other companies want a piece of that pie
Only issue for other companies is that they're usually too creatively bankrupt to even come close.

This game, Genshin and Honkai are from the same developer, so players from this games tend to not care much about the similarities and probably will play it as well.

instanced rougelite not open world but not like honkai impact either as honkai 1 does not have a parry system and 2 does not have any roguelite elements

Billy is a combination of Dante, Red Hood, Goku, and Billy the Kid. That's why that character's named Billy Kid due to Billy the Kid's name had been taken and then renamed to Billy Kid.
