i wasn’t even gonna try the game but honestly the vibes convinced me… it feels so fresh. i love it so much. i really didn’t expect this and i’m so pleasantly surprised. i do have to say though, for now i don’t feel like i connect with any of the characters visually (though if i had to choose one, it would be Anby), which is a bit of a shame. can’t wait to see what they do, as i absolutely adore the 00’s aesthetic they went for and the combat is so fun. i wanted to like WuWa but as beautiful as it was, ZZZ just hits the spot with how colourful and vibrant it is.
Sucks that the gameplay gets old pretty fast especially the gameplay w the tv’s and the combat just being a button pressing simulator (press the glowy buttons when they pop up) makes it even more boring
@@MyPj25 That's the worst part. Once you get a combo going, the game puts you in rails and you have to keep swapping like crazy or wait for the QTE to go away. And most of the time I swap accidentally because the Attack button is also one of the swap buttons.
I love how you put tips 6 and 7 in there. People often get carried away by these gacha games. It's always a great reminder that these games aren't everything. At the end of the day, they're just a way for you to have some fun
Tip 6 and 7 will always be in my heart. I'm a f2p since day 1 and it's what helped me keep playing for 4 years in Genshin and Starrail (2 yrs now or i forgot) now my characters feel very strong and I feel confident clearing contents
I didnt have big expectations for the game but woww, i loved this one. The game is super fun so far for me. The combat feels good and i like a lot that you are swaping characters in the fights a lot. And the story, well, we still dont know what is the main goal of course but they droped little hints if you payed atention to the dialogues. Oh and i wanted koleda so bad, got the maid, and i was like "oh well at least is a good support", and in the next pull got koleda. Now im having a blast with her and her lil hammer. Construction gang all day bro 😎

I thought I would regret choosing wise for main character. But after playing through for a few hours, he just felt so natural for me. He's like the perfect self-insert, like your typical anime highschool protagonist. Really feels like you're going through an anime with him, makes you enjoy the different vibes of the other characters more, and also appreciate his simplicity. I never thought in the end it would ultimately be the wiser choice(for me).
Games been fantastic thus far. It oozes charm from every pore as if Splatoon was turned into a Gacha game. The animation and artstyle is genuinely gorgeous, the characters are pumped with life and charm, especially the Cunning Hares. Wise and Belles sibling dynamic is a delight and is the best Gacha MCs since Kiana. Gameplay is fast, flashy, easy to get into but clearly has room to grow shown by units like Soldier 11 and Ellen Joe. As for the plot its simple, but inviting. More slice of life than the grand adventure from Hoyos other games. Wont say too much but chapter 1 was a nice introduction to New Eridu and the Cunning Hares are such a perfect team. All in all there's zero complaints from me and ive been having a blast so far. Lastly, if Grace turned too fast she'd put me in a coma hot damn-
I totally agree with your points, I went into this game not expecting too much but wow, I'm pleasantly surprised. I didn't think I'd love it as much as I do! The amazing animation, likable characters, banger OST, and fun combat make this game worth playing imo

The models have very high quality but the art style itself is pretty poorly executed, resulting in character designs and a ui that is frankly much closer to ugly then beautiful. Its a shame because both the models and animations are very high quality so to have this poor quality art on top is.. There are a few designs like Nekomata and Billy that are well made, altho in case of the later he is a rip-off of another character and in case of the first she's a more generic design.
@Tiasung Ugly? Couldn't disagree more. It's got that 90s/2000s Jet Set Radio/Splatoon vibe. And I've been enjoying a ton of the character designs. Lucy, Koleda, Von Lycaon, Ellen, Qingyi, Miyabi, Nicole, Billy, Belle, etc. Ton of them are yes genuinely gorgeous. Matter of personal opinion sure, but I can't imagine calling a game this vibrant and colorful anything remotely ugly.

I was hesitant to play the game since i already have 2 games at the moment. To my surprise. The game is really good. The gameplay is easy to understand and and the animation are always on point. There is no exploration which is good for casual players that don't have much time to do it.
that's a fantastic comment, it offers a very different take on the game to me and probably most players looking for something serious to pick up or don't bother, this game feels like a cheap copy that probably lost all of it's depth to mobile optimisations

The game got an update recently that features a Reworked battery system. After your battery level caps out, all the extra charge carries over into an item that you can use later to further replenish your battery stamina when you need it. It maxes out at 2,400. Defiently a godsend for people that can't play the game all the time and or have a job. You're still able to earn battery charge with the game off.
THIS is why the Hoyo gaming community has a bad reputation. How am I supposed to enjoy these RPGs when everyone in the community is literally open about being into “fetishes” that Hoyo includes? I thought no one else thought Belle’s walk animation is so weird!!! For some reason it’s such a huge turn off for me ever since I first saw it in the beta. Although Wise’s design is a bit simple I do love everything else about him and have no regrets choosing him. Just something about the jacket and her arms swinging that way that makes the poor girl an ick for me 😭

By some wierd accident i wound up losing my initial account i played on for hours and spent money on the daily thing, and decided to restart with the other MC - Wise Partly bc i like him and running around wirh Belle has made me way too aware of the folded assymetrical nightmare that is her skirt but a large part was tha i was curious about the differences, what their contrasting personalities would being to the table The answer so far is...nothing The dialogue just swaps, and the voice actors do their beat to maintain the vibes of the characters, but it doesnt feel like the more serious, task-oriented suppoet dialogue is meant for Belle with her bubbliness, and you can make Wise always say the cheeky dialogue option and seem very unconcerned when hes so clearly the calmer, more focused between the two. Theres the same comments about the open world part, a lot of which involve goofing off and being silly in a way that feels more suitably written for Belle as we know her than Wise? Im kind of upset that im probably going to be stuck with this account while painfully aware of how awkward the characterisation is in this set up compared to the other way around 😢

I’m enjoying it slightly more than Genshin (not a tall order, Genshin is barely keeping my interest with just its lore and story) but I’m hopeful. I like the characters A LOT especially the delicious furry HUNK that is Ben Bigger *awoooga*. I also love how you can’t really even tell which characters are 4 or 5 stars, I find that to be really awesome, especially if you really connect to a 4 star character. I only wish I knew what the flying fuck was going on in the story. It seems interesting, but there’s so little explanation of terms, characters, factions, established lore, etc. I just feel like I was dropped into the action and people are only interested in half explaining things

How do normal citizens deal with it and live their lives? What’s the governing and political interests of the main factions, what do they want in this equation? Why is there a governing body that doesn’t want people to enter the hollow? How do people transform into monsters? Is there a way to reverse it? How does someone become proficient with powers and abilities in this universe? It is learned? If so, how? What are the bangboos, who invented them, and what is their purpose in the world? All these questions should be at least partially addressed or teased that they might be further explained. So far, I’m really left wondering too many of them.
The start of zzz have already established things that you will learn throughout the game whereas genshin literally just put you in an unfamiliar world. You may still need to read a bit more like in the inter-knot or maybe watch a short starter lore video if things don't click.
Comparing the mechanics in this game to Genshin/Honkai is not great for a beginners guide. As someone who hasn't played either game I have no idea what any of those comparisons actually meant

This game is genuinely peak. I love it. However, my only minor problem for the game is how we kinda spend quite a bit time in the tv things rather than using our characters 💯
Tbh Beginner guides should not focus how to progress and not capping on stamina. They should focus more on the game elements. How is the world build, how are the progression systems build, what kind of modes are their, how does the fighting system work (and what does the little rabbits have to do with it). Which ressorces do u need for what? And then at the end explaining the gacha systems. Basically fundamentals. Unfortunately nearly all beginners guide are ignoring this. Going directly how to spend stamina and specific tips around summoning currency etc.
That's a good point, any actual new palyer will be confused asf. Most of the viewership though will have played the gacha system in one shape or another before, so they are looking for a quick and fast facts check. Personally, I'd also love more words about the gameplay loop. Like why would I care to learn character build details if the game is a glorified fetch quest and holding the attack button...

The nature of people is to compare, but that doesn't affect how you should feel. Just try it and enjoy what works for you. You might end up with tunnel-vision if you don't check out what's going on around you and why people are so worked up, but that might be a blessing in disguise. Ignorance is bliss. Like for me this game did feel like the freedom of movement is constricted. I can't even look up to the sky with the way the camera works. That is probably a non-issue for everyone else.
Everything is amazing but the summon animation. The multiple creepy tv screens and punk bgm scared my kid when he saw me summoning (he is a fan of HSR summon animations btw).
5:00 I have done challenge mode for the whole story, and yea I always almost die to bosses but I’ve been playin for a few days and haven’t even had one of my agents die yet. I personally think it’s wayyyy more fun doing challenge
focusing on the 5-star and looking at how to spend your resources around that character is a good tip, unless you technically dont get a 5-star in your first 50 pulls by getting the character you like the least out of the entire available ones at the moment and dont want to spend the effort in 'rerolling'. So this Rina will likely stay Level 1 or at some point in the future Level 20 for the free pull on my account
The start of the game is really good, aesthetically speaking this game rocks. Gameplay wise? This game becomes boring as hell in the 1st 2 hours. They have to tweak the gameplay mechanics. At this point after 5 hours of playing, there is no WOW factor, as it becomes a button mashing simulator, restricting you to a character that you did not want to swap to and also spend more time on the freaking TV thingy. The game bought majority of its playerbase due to it being optimized and vibrant

Firstly, the app disappeared from the play store after they pre installed and said it's no longer compatible, which is strange because how come they were able to download it in the first place. Some may have deleted the app before release thinking the app size will reduce only to not be able to download it again. For those who still have the app some are getting stuck at 70% on the loading screen, some cutscenes won't load, the game force closes etc. Hsr has a similar issue with the game crashing on mobile but after some time it was fixed, they significantly reduced the space the game takes.

Still rerolling for shark waifu second day and still have not gotten a single 5 star let alone early and that includes both the free wishes from standard and the ones used to pull on the limited one so I haven’t even been given a glimmer of hope at least when I rerolled in wuwa I would every now and then get a standard 5 star so giving up

This is the first time I’m finding that I like a lot of 4 stars or in this case A ranked characters over a lot of the S ranked characters in a gacha game
Wise is my favourite MC out of Genshin, WuWa and ZZZ. His voice is super soothing.

Wise is definitely the best boy, I'm glad I picked him for my protag.
The game got an update recently that features a Reworked battery system. After your battery level caps out, all the extra charge carries over into an item that you can use later to further replenish your battery stamina when you need it. It maxes out at 2,400. Defiently a godsend for people that can't play the game all the time and or have a job. You're still able to earn battery charge with the game off.
I swear Hoyo went out of their way to satisfy every fetish out there with ZZZ, and I'm not complaining! 😄

I just started this game 2 days ago, and the music was so good.
I started the game with Belle and immediately fell in love with Wise's voice and personnality, while I was super annoyed with Belle's walk animation and " im cute uwu " trope

I thought no one else thought Belle’s walk animation is so weird!!! For some reason it’s such a huge turn off for me ever since I first saw it in the beta. Although Wise’s design is a bit simple I do love everything else about him and have no regrets choosing him. Just something about the jacket and her arms swinging that way that makes the poor girl an ick for me 😭

small question... how does the story work if you play with him? Is belle the "mastermind" who gives you quests then? Or how does it work?

By some wierd accident i wound up losing my initial account i played on for hours and spent money on the daily thing, and decided to restart with the other MC - Wise
Partly bc i like him and running around wirh Belle has made me way too aware of the folded assymetrical nightmare that is her skirt but a large part was tha i was curious about the differences, what their contrasting personalities would being to the table
The answer so far is...nothing
The dialogue just swaps, and the voice actors do their beat to maintain the vibes of the characters, but it doesnt feel like the more serious, task-oriented suppoet dialogue is meant for Belle with her bubbliness, and you can make Wise always say the cheeky dialogue option and seem very unconcerned when hes so clearly the calmer, more focused between the two. Theres the same comments about the open world part, a lot of which involve goofing off and being silly in a way that feels more suitably written for Belle as we know her than Wise?
Im kind of upset that im probably going to be stuck with this account while painfully aware of how awkward the characterisation is in this set up compared to the other way around 😢
Yup 6&7 are very important. When Genshin launched i was stupid and rushed and tried to catch up with my friends AR LVL.

I’m enjoying it slightly more than Genshin (not a tall order, Genshin is barely keeping my interest with just its lore and story) but I’m hopeful. I like the characters A LOT especially the delicious furry HUNK that is Ben Bigger *awoooga*. I also love how you can’t really even tell which characters are 4 or 5 stars, I find that to be really awesome, especially if you really connect to a 4 star character.
I only wish I knew what the flying fuck was going on in the story. It seems interesting, but there’s so little explanation of terms, characters, factions, established lore, etc. I just feel like I was dropped into the action and people are only interested in half explaining things

What is the deal with this world?
What is the big hollow sphere thing? Why does it exist?
What’s the history of this place? How do normal citizens deal with it and live their lives?
What’s the governing and political interests of the main factions, what do they want in this equation?
Why is there a governing body that doesn’t want people to enter the hollow?
How do people transform into monsters? Is there a way to reverse it?
How does someone become proficient with powers and abilities in this universe? It is learned? If so, how?
What are the bangboos, who invented them, and what is their purpose in the world?
All these questions should be at least partially addressed or teased that they might be further explained. So far, I’m really left wondering too many of them.

The start of zzz have already established things that you will learn throughout the game whereas genshin literally just put you in an unfamiliar world.
You may still need to read a bit more like in the inter-knot or maybe watch a short starter lore video if things don't click.

I enjoyed the 90s cyberpunk vibe. Chill combat. Surprised that I liked it. I only play casually so this game, along with most Hoyo games, is a win.
Comparing the mechanics in this game to Genshin/Honkai is not great for a beginners guide. As someone who hasn't played either game I have no idea what any of those comparisons actually meant

I wish it was that simple. You can still miss out on any Character that looks nice or get an undesired one. The true wisdom here is to live with your choices and not panic.

im just confused what the engine effect on or off does. ive gone into training and done battles with it on and off, and i see no difference at all.

This game is genuinely peak. I love it. However, my only minor problem for the game is how we kinda spend quite a bit time in the tv things rather than using our characters 💯

Tbh Beginner guides should not focus how to progress and not capping on stamina. They should focus more on the game elements. How is the world build, how are the progression systems build, what kind of modes are their, how does the fighting system work (and what does the little rabbits have to do with it). Which ressorces do u need for what? And then at the end explaining the gacha systems. Basically fundamentals.
Unfortunately nearly all beginners guide are ignoring this. Going directly how to spend stamina and specific tips around summoning currency etc.
That's a good point, any actual new palyer will be confused asf.
Most of the viewership though will have played the gacha system in one shape or another before, so they are looking for a quick and fast facts check.
Personally, I'd also love more words about the gameplay loop. Like why would I care to learn character build details if the game is a glorified fetch quest and holding the attack button...

The nature of people is to compare, but that doesn't affect how you should feel. Just try it and enjoy what works for you.
You might end up with tunnel-vision if you don't check out what's going on around you and why people are so worked up, but that might be a blessing in disguise. Ignorance is bliss.
Like for me this game did feel like the freedom of movement is constricted. I can't even look up to the sky with the way the camera works. That is probably a non-issue for everyone else.

Everything is amazing but the summon animation. The multiple creepy tv screens and punk bgm scared my kid when he saw me summoning (he is a fan of HSR summon animations btw).

focusing on the 5-star and looking at how to spend your resources around that character is a good tip, unless you technically dont get a 5-star in your first 50 pulls by getting the character you like the least out of the entire available ones at the moment and dont want to spend the effort in 'rerolling'. So this Rina will likely stay Level 1 or at some point in the future Level 20 for the free pull on my account
I just closed my eyes and spammed left right 20+ times and hit X so I didn’t have to choose between- I got Wise.
The start of the game is really good, aesthetically speaking this game rocks.
Gameplay wise? This game becomes boring as hell in the 1st 2 hours. They have to tweak the gameplay mechanics. At this point after 5 hours of playing, there is no WOW factor, as it becomes a button mashing simulator, restricting you to a character that you did not want to swap to and also spend more time on the freaking TV thingy.
The game bought majority of its playerbase due to it being optimized and vibrant

Firstly, the app disappeared from the play store after they pre installed and said it's no longer compatible, which is strange because how come they were able to download it in the first place. Some may have deleted the app before release thinking the app size will reduce only to not be able to download it again. For those who still have the app some are getting stuck at 70% on the loading screen, some cutscenes won't load, the game force closes etc. Hsr has a similar issue with the game crashing on mobile but after some time it was fixed, they significantly reduced the space the game takes.

Same issues on Android are on IOs ofc performance being worse on Android because it's so varied

Still rerolling for shark waifu second day and still have not gotten a single 5 star let alone early and that includes both the free wishes from standard and the ones used to pull on the limited one so I haven’t even been given a glimmer of hope at least when I rerolled in wuwa I would every now and then get a standard 5 star so giving up
Imo, the game's really dry, the characters dont catch my eye at all. Combat isnt that exciting, solid 3.9/10, 1 point for ben
