You made a mistake at 2:08. You can actual do character exercises for unobtained characters if the character is offered in the gacha as well with a special menu in the 24/7 gacha that can lead to these try-outs for polychrome and similar prizes if you look at the event menu offering these try-outs for event gacha characters. I was able to do 9 of these exercises because of this without even realizing the helpful menu you showed here exists!
You can basically do all the locked VR cooperation exercises by playing the trials for each character in the gacha screen. That way you receive the reward for the trial and also for the cooperation exercise, AND will allow you to replay them whenever you want.
Want to point out, you can bypass the “VR Training” requirement of owning the character, if they are advertised on the limited Banner since they also have demo mode in “events” Completing the “mission” to trial use the Agent gives you some small bonus, and also counts as using the “Vr training” to redeem there.
Butler S rank bangboo charges your energy (+extra energy recharge when you have 2 Victoria Houskeeping members). Just wanted to add that there's 4 physical units which is Billy, Corin, Nekomata, and Piper who is an anomaly unit and can dish out heavy amounts of dmg in a short period of time.
You can get the standard banner s rank characters training done on the standard banner netting you their training bonus before you unlock them in the vr headset
I’ve been seeing pure-element teams a lot of the time, and I’m kinda surprised about that. The in-game loading screen tips mention how enemies gain resistance to an anomaly type after being afflicted with it, and between that and the Disorder effect from stacking two anomalies I figured it wouldn’t be worth focusing on a single element.
Agents get a secondary passive if they are either the same element or same faction as another agent. You know you have the secondary passive on a agent when the little face on the bottom left of their card is a yellow smiley face. Also some characters just combo super well into other characters resulting in the resistance being redundant.
I’m sure a lot of people hate this game cuz if it’s gatcha stuff but I don’t care. I never spend money on free to play games so that don’t bother me. I just care that I enjoy a game and I was having a lot of fun with it last night so I think I’ll keep playing it till I no longer enjoy it or till I lose interest or till something else strokes my fancy. We’re all gamers here. We game to enjoy games and just like with everything else we enjoy, we all have our own preferences and opinions about different games. I personally love this game. That’s cool that a lot of you don’t. Just don’t jump all over me or put me down just cuz I enjoy this game.
You see, I wish to try it, but I did some research and I'm here for extra bits, now, the Energy system anytime a game has this I instantly leave and its a turn off, but from what I can read its only for the VRTraining for Mat. Farming.. So. Thats fine by me. besides, I like to keep combat games challenging Dark souls style so I might barely upgrade on purpose unless it forces me to.
The good and cool things about ZZZ is that all characters feel and look cool so you will have some fun even if it's not the meta team! You can still achieve what you want with your favorite characters :D
Reminder to everyone that you shouldn't worry about tier lists and such. Play with the characters you like the most regardless of if they're considered good or not. It's better to simply enjoy the game than bother grinding and spending money on every new character as the "meta" inevitably shifts around every month or two.
Never ever forget Perfect Assist. Swear to god it changed my entire gameplay, I'm Dazing tje enemies twice as much just cause of that. Perf. Asst. Is different during certain boss battles tho...
So basically: Only spend parts for A-rank W-Engines, Play VR Training for extra rewards, Play every sidequest and mission to rank up quick for better rewards, Search everywhere and everything for loot, Spend Battery Usage for Expert Challenge to level up Core Skills for characters before playing Routine Cleanup, If close to Ranking Up, don't spend Battery Usage or Ether Batteries to get better rewards later, Collect all obtainable Boopons and items to both pull in gacha and rank up your Bangboos, Use Stunner characters in Shiryu Defense, Swap characters right while using abilities to save time, And finally Have Fun!

luckily for me i pulled Jane after the 5th x10 pull, though she’s hard to play around she’s very strong
Latest update added a harder difficulty option for story missions
I can’t believe I got grace three
Times in a row, twice from the standard banner and once from 50/50 lost 😭😭🤯
Willing to trade my Nekomato for her 😂
Grace is pretty good though im ngl but still i would rather want more character varieties so F
Look on the bright side, that also could have been 3 srank machines.
I got the cat girl man. I rlly want grace so bad
@Dysantrum you and me both man I just did my 7th reroll and pulled Nekomato again I'm starting to lose hope perhaps it is a sign saying I should just stop trying to reroll and accept her 🫠🥴😮💨💀
I've been playing for 1 week approx and already made soooo many mistakes this vid is warning about, ahahaha. My main issue atm is the sheer amount of different currencies/upgrade materials and other tiny shiny thingies I can barely tell apart or memorize what comes from where and is needed for what, it's way too confusing for a newbie. The vid is short and useful, at least now I can come back to it and see what's from where and for what!
that's why I just go get something when I need it lol
@@wiltfoster5386 I need a lot of different stuff, but limited by batteries and the next day my brain resets and I have to figure out what am I farming today, so I'm all over the place
Man I know I'm late but I hope this footage is old it took me 3 days playing after work for 3-4h and one free day of around 5h to get to inter lvl: 30 (listening and reading to the story) the tips are good for beginner players who never dealt with gacha games but that flex at the start just triggered me sorry if im dramatic but "grinding a tone" should not be 15-16h of leisurely play.
I'm a new player 43% into chaptor 1, i've been watching some videos trying to make sense of what the game's about and i just don't have a clue, guees i'll plod on and hopefuly learn as i go.
Just wanted to add that there's 4 physical units which is Billy, Corin, Nekomata, and Piper who is an anomaly unit and can dish out heavy amounts of dmg in a short period of time.
You can also get the vr training rewards if you demo the character so don't need to unlock the character at all
Thanks. Linda overwhelmed at first.
I hate hate the controls/modifying controls especially it is linked to different actions.
incredibly useful!!!
You can get the standard banner s rank characters training done on the standard banner netting you their training bonus before you unlock them in the vr headset
This game has been the most intuitive one so far. If only the menu scheme was different on controller…
6:39 I thought you were going to say “Spend Money” 😭
Seems somewhat helpful. Just haven't unlocked dailies or a way to use stamina yet. Having trouble getting into the game
Mihoyo's games are a marathon for sure, especially when you play HI3, Genshin, HSR, and ZZZ 😅 they take up so much of my phone storage hahahah....
@@thisislame2207 I knew about the synergy buff, I guess I’ve just been overestimating the resistance from repetition. Thanks for trying to help though
I will always agree with playing at your own pace especially since the game is very new and there's no GOD Tier right now
Every minute he dropped "Because"
I just got 3 Billy's in one pull. There was a 4th A rank but it was a w-engine
I got on my first 60-70 pulls on standard Soldier and Neko, so got my 2 S DPS for now
using a team of Grace, Anby, Anton rn workin pretty good so far
I think the Victoria housekeeping characters will be metta and remain metta for some time considering how well placed their designs are.
anyone else clicked this video damn well you properly allready made all the mistakes XD
Reminder to everyone that you shouldn't worry about tier lists and such. Play with the characters you like the most regardless of if they're considered good or not. It's better to simply enjoy the game than bother grinding and spending money on every new character as the "meta" inevitably shifts around every month or two.
When's " top 10 tips i should've known before playing ZZZ "
Please use controller to play ZZZ for best experience. Totally different game.
Never ever forget Perfect Assist. Swear to god it changed my entire gameplay, I'm Dazing tje enemies twice as much just cause of that.
Perf. Asst. Is different during certain boss battles tho...
Ben is a stunner.
At first glance he has only 95 in the stat, like a damage dealer.
But his E shield has a 400% stun modifier.
Can't wait to make these same mistakes later when I play. (ʘᴗʘ✿)
To me the game is a race to get Rina, because I loved her gameplay. Fast, fluid and stylish.
So basically:
Only spend parts for A-rank W-Engines,
Play VR Training for extra rewards,
Play every sidequest and mission to rank up quick for better rewards,
Search everywhere and everything for loot,
Spend Battery Usage for Expert Challenge to level up Core Skills for characters before playing Routine Cleanup,
If close to Ranking Up, don't spend Battery Usage or Ether Batteries to get better rewards later,
Collect all obtainable Boopons and items to both pull in gacha and rank up your Bangboos,
Use Stunner characters in Shiryu Defense,
Swap characters right while using abilities to save time,
And finally Have Fun!
Mistake I made that actually really helped out was starting on day one. Then realizing on day two my account was set to EU. So I had to start over on NA. Don’t recommend. But it helped me understand some things better for my main account. 😂
bit late to be sharing 'tips of how to start' when it's been 9 days (was at least 3 when this video came out and i had already sunk lots of hours in before that) since release so everyone who's really into have already been playing for hours on end but okay
good to know i haven't fucked up too much with my own game. i've kinda figured most of this out on my own. kinda smad about the hidden crates in missions tho considering there's timers here and there on certain things i'm always under the assumption i'm being timed and trying to get out quick LOL so i've prolly missed some things. i did notice some on one mission tho and thought it was just that one.
Lmao, yea he should've gone back in time after learning all of this since release and posted the video in the past, would've been way more helpful.
I've been going at my own pace and seeing what works for my play style already! so it seems ive been doing everything right... except for the fomo part. i just want Lycaon TwT
Gacha gamer with all respect you're a hard worker.
I appreciate your hard efforts.
Unfortunately Gacha games are 90% percent the pulling system
And the rest for the rest of the game.
last sentence of your videos ❤❤
Great info!!!
Watching some giving tips to a game that i can't even play
