The starting trio not having a form of chain attack or ultimate chain is absolute criminal desicion making by hoyo. That alone would make em infinitely more compelling. Huge missed opportunity.
I totally agree. I liked Aether Gazer's starter team chain attack.
I've been staring at Mr. Pokke's glasses, waiting for the rectangular reflections to align with his eyes (and it happened a couple of times), like watching the DVD logo hit the corner of the TV.
Billy is slept on for real. His ultimate burst is insane. He also benefits greatly from short debuffs like Nicole's def shred, or buffs, like Pen from Rina since he does his big damage in such a short time. If anyone has played Honkai IMpact 3rd before, units that do their damage in short bursts are really good for maximizing buff/debuff uptime. He really does well as a final unit in chain attacks to immediately apply all debuffs and burst down the enemy with his ultimate.

Can't say anything about his strength but it's so much fun to spam his dash attacks. If executed properly you can even take no hits without parrying.

Lucy has very high fire anomaly attack and her buff is much easier to cap than Soukaku because her buff has much higher atk multiplier and flat atk
Also Lucy & Piper are very strong together cuz of fire and physical disorder procs. Add any fire or physical unit to them and u get a very strong team

Just wanted to say, Nicole also has Energy Regen on her Ult, it's not just Lucy, and I believe it's the same numbers too.

@@CurryNearMe afaik, yea.. tho the execution is quite technical, the payoff is actually really great.
Not to mention that Disorders nuke and fills the daze bar quickly (that's why it's not a problem if the team doesn't have a stunner) + you proc Assault to make stun duration last longer, making S11 to deal more damage and proc burn again with Lucy before the stun duration ends.

Lycaon's dmg increase to stunned enemies synergizes very well with Corin's dmg bonus to stunned targets, they must go together at all times.

As a lance main in MHW:IB Ben counters feel so good. His stun is actually pretty good tbh. I wish he had a warrior charge though.
somehow got blessed with both koleda and solider 11 on my f2p account. Ben was the final piece for my mono fire comp 🔥🔥

I was wondering if putting some daze on Corbin wouldn’t be a good idea. I noticed she already daze A LOT at base so I was wondering if playing her as a stunner/dps would be good

If you have any doubt just use the Cunning Hares cleared everything S rank and almost Interknot 30 with them , and no i dont use nekomata ( i have her and probably could do some of my run faster with her but hey i got Billy at E3 )
Nekomata and S11 go nuclear with Lucy Piper. Some of the only good Disorder teams rn. If anyone's gonna test, start with those two.
Currently using nekomata, billy, and nicole. just cause their voice lines are neat when fighting.
Mr. Pokke's videos are time-compressed and best watched after decompression, also known as 0.75 playback speed :D

yes you should, otherwise your team kinda lack damage without anton, even m0 anton is better than anby with your teamcomp
I can vouch for Ben, his enhanced counter dmg is big numbers, and his assists has a big area, using him wif soldier 11. Big bear for the win
Im new and and my goal for re-roll is lycaonne for S rank pair with corin but i pulled soldier 11 instead and a copy of lucy i think all player can get big ben in certain progress of the game? so should i countinue this account or reroll for what i like?
@@EotC.FridayBen is a free unit so you will eventually get him by completing story, Lucy is really good for Soldier 11, ofc it’s your account so do as you wish because your fun is what matters, but you have a really strong account for soldier 11

@@EotC.Friday I would say keep this account. Soldier 11 does very good damage as an attacker role and since u got lucy early, its even better since u already have a main fire team going. Your third team member should be Anby then as a stunner. So Soldier 11, Lucy and Anby, perfect team to roll through the game until you get your next 5* unit.
@@EotC.Fridaythe reason ice is meta rn because most enemies are weak to ether and ice ofc and S11 is good unit but until endgame bosses that are Mechs or metal looking ahh have heavy Fire res so you gonna need another team like Electric or Ice for better farm, you can still run the Fire team though
soldier 11, ben and lucy is my go team rn it have insane damage and carry me on progression
currently use koleda, ben, corin (with housekeeper wep).. good enough but still feels weird because corin not fire or belobog.

pretty sure only the 1000atk is for soukaku only, other units get the base 500 atk

Yep he is but his damage as dps is kinda mid but for some quick-burst? he did a good job at it

I dont know how the rotation in this game work, is that u must use stun char and dont swap to anyone else until u break the boss?
For small mobs you can brute force it, as for elite/boss unit you stick with stun char until there is attack that you can parry as it also gives big daze meter.
Pretty much, but you can also mix anomaly and stun. Physical anomaly "assault" has extra effect of daze debuff, the rest is some form of CC. Ice work for all, the rest work depends on enemy type.

My first two S ranks were S11 and Nekomata im still waiting to get Lucy but i got piper and shes been amazing in my neko team with anby. Piper stacks assault like crazy with her spin move giving neko more damage on her skill from her passive. Its a little funny, piper is doing more damage then my neko in most fights, Assault be doing a lot of damage 😂

if you are playing right now, I personally recommend trying to get 1 Ellen and 1 Zhu Yuan due to the lack of characters with those elements. I'd argue having the option of those elements is more important right now rather than pulling on what you want

Question: Is a Stun agent really absolutly nessasary? Or is it more of a "With the limited roster we had pre-release, running a Stun agent was meta"?
not absolutely necessary but def IS a more "meta" or mainstream team building for now, who knows anomaly teams or other type of team will be new meta in the future with new environments, mobs and bosses.
My go to team is Piper, Corin, Lucy, great for f2p and zones that you can’t build against weaknesses!

My corin team is with Rina, Anby and Corin plus butter boo. This team solves Corin's issues and makes her deal high dmg

The meta feels very unecxplored. People at the start tend to gravitate to the rigid autobuild teams.
It's normal, it's been 2 days since the game been released
there's nothing wrong with autobuild teams, help people to tackle early content, late/endgame who cares since we probably already have enough resource. Plus right now the game only came out and there's no enough enemy veriaty/mechanics that we can explore the real meta teams with. And also the disc/artifacts are limited.

Mr.Pokke while Piper can be used as main physical Anomaly dps, she fit as a Disorder dps when paired with Lucy+Ben/S11.
Ult usage priority goes to Lucy to help proc Burn and gives energy for Piper ex-skill that can reliably proc Assault. S11(Soldier11) is for more Burn and dps while Ben is for that juicy 4-parry daze.
keep in mind, enemies have to get hit by the black whole to have less def and well, bosses arent exactly the most stationary targets...

I believe mono-physical doesnt need stun but I could be wrong about that.
It still hard to say, but at the very least, you'll need anomaly physical with crazy good effect.
As someone who runs Cunning Hares with Nekomata and Billy with Nicole as a debuffer, it isn't needed in my opinion.
Billy covers the AOE and helps with charging daze who synergises with Nekomata with their dodge and parry playstyle.
I like characters who have much more mobility because not all attacks in ZZZ are parriable. Especially when you are fighting the giant construction robots. I found it easier to dodge in those boss fights than to parry the hits there.
i dumped my ELLEN + RINA account, for KOLEDA+BEN+LUCY account and clearing the Shiyu Defence with ease

Honestly, I think Nicole is the best A rank, next to Soukaku, simply because she groups units, has a universal debuff, and takes no real field time if you stun literally anything quick, and that's big for saving time in shouyu defense.
Ellen/Lyacon/Soukaku in one side and Cunning Hares team or Zhu Yhun/Nicole/fill in the other is a pretty easy end game clear set-up

It’s fun when you go into it without any preconceive notions and external influence. It’s free so if you got the space on your device then i dont see why not. If you like persona’s day cycles and the roaming aspects of persona (interacting with npc’s and the like) then i think you’ll really like this world since its setup in a similar fashion. As for the gameplay, well… thats more for you to test out and see if it appeals to you or not since that and the tv system are the two dividing factors to many for hating or loving the game. I personally enjoy the tv system (its really not that bad like many are saying like sure, it can interrupt the gameplay flow a bit but it can still be enjoyable) and the combat is nice and snappy, the skill ceiling might not be highest as of right now but if the devs stay true to their words then it wont be long before they start rolling out harder content just like in HSR, that game took some time before we starting getting somewhat challenging things. I recommend it.
