00:00 A sketch of the knife was given on the file
00:58 The process of making a file knife
06:15 The process of belt grinder
07:44 The process of mini grinder
09:13 The process of making a knife edge with a grinder
12:21 The process of knife shining
13:58 The process of sharpening a knife
15:25 Knife talk and complete the all process - Наука
1. temper the file down by heating it.
2. cut, grind, make bewels
3. harden the blade by heat treat
4. clean
5. make a nice handle
6. sharpen the blade
7. done
without heat treating the knife will be too fragile and easy to brake.
yeap files are know for that... at least the old forever rockwell 64 ones, they shatter under free fall from hand high. But man the knife is beautiful.
Dope AF knife, @RandomHandsInsights. Now you've gotta stitch up an equally dope sheath as well!
Amazing knife. Thank you. Regards ❤💥💣
Top essa 🔪
OK THANK
This is the next level that Muela knives can grade up, stylish and useful.
❤❤
Good
Good job 👍
Cool, the tools you use make me think i can reach it and can practice then try to make it...
Muito top, sem nenhum tratamento térmico. Quanto é a dureza RHC da lima ?
Not using additional material for a handle creates a slim knife. The only issue would be wet hands may make the knife tough to handle. Great project with minimal expensive tools.
Your workshop is similar to a neighbors whereby he used to create candlesticks, lamps and cutlery.
I have an old farrier rasp just sitting around. Might be an expensive hobby, but you've inspired me to convert it. Will probably take me a month or two, lol.
Uau ficou linda top de linha

Most welcome 🤗

assassin knife :D
👍
Cool
Nice job , the only thing ill say as criticism , get somw flapperstyle sanding discs for cutting in your edge & lighter work instead of using a cut off disc
Your knife is beautiful, lots of hours doing it. Thank you for sharing with us, and did you heat treated the file blade off camera ?🥵🥶 Your skill is too high 🤓for a mistake like this😲. You don't fool me. 🧐🤣🤣🤣🤣🙂😉
You get your knife, i get my asp. We'll just have to see which wins that. We can call it knight vs bishop.
Stop fronting ...
Did the heat of the various grinding temper the edge of the knife?
Good looking knife but very brittle and extremely hard to sharpen
😂😂😂
I thought he would keep the file surface throughout the blade if there no heat treating
No realizó tratamiento término? Porque motivo no lo hizo?
Can you please tell me where to buy these Gloves ??
There's no heat treat on that and it's averagely sharp, the edges wont last long if you make it even sharper. Heat treat it and i'd call that a perfect blade, though the handle is a bit small. Might wanna use some handle on that. Still way better than what i could do.
You do know files are treated from the store right??
@@DarkWidget And you do know that friction produces heat? And do i have to explain how hot the metal gets when you cut it with a grinder like that? It burns the metal. The treatment, if it had any, is long gone on that piece of metal.
@@shady8273 You do know that you can see the temperature on color changes, yes? And no, this piece doesn't seem to reach it. You can keep the heat treatment if you're not too aggressive with the grinder/sander =)
@@DarkWidget fair, but it's really not much work to ensure a good heat treat again. Why not?
@@shady8273 it kind of is, if you don't have the stuff needed at disposal which I imagine is the reason since the whole video is using simple tools that people who probably don't make knives usually have home. It's just a guess tho
what disk is that on the grinder at 11:00 in?
6.0mm grinder disk.
@@RandomHandsInsights do you know the make? Kinda looks flexible. Thanks for the reply

How to make a RUclips video. Or how not to make a knife. Either title works

No talent other than the ability to use a grinder...
you burnt the steel at the tip of the blade, nothing will come of it.
Today not satisfied of your work.not professionally done
Try better next video 😉😉😉
He got a sub from me haha
Wdym?
Well not all of us are professionals and sometimes we NEED to see that other people doing the same things mess up too. I believe they done a GREAT job and people should see that a HUMAN not a machine made this!
Shoff kese kare
