I want to buy one, how do I do it?
I'm looking to make a file blade like this that is cutting edge and tip but can still be a file so if I need to sharpen my hatchet or axe I can. I'm still a noob. As long as my Hamer strikes do not mess up the file will it still do its job after I re heat-treat?

Я не фанат техники безопасности, но в паре с этим парнем работать - можно и заживо сгореть, не говорю про всякие мелочи типа отрезанных пальцев и потерянного зрения
с таким расположением ножен - сиську себе отрежет очень быстро

я сам делаю ножи и мне это нравится...форму клинка...рукоять -- всё по ходу изготовления...а вот область применения -- полная загадка......... нет ничего красивее холодного оружия и не мастеру этого не понять наверное
Для обувщика самое то. Резать кожу, подошву подрезать.
@@sevboxidruda для обувщика спуск односторонний обычно, поставил нож перпендикулярно, и рез и кромка отвесные.
Таким маленьким только обрезание мышкам делать...

Nice job! I had never heard of "a neck knife" so thanks for letting me know what it was. I like the way you approach your projects and the message to the rest of us that clearly says: "you can do this at your shop with common tools." That's also appreciated.
Neck knives are amazing and I used to wear 1 every day. I even own the mass produced version of this knife but it is way to heavy to carry on a necklace tbh. Even though it's small the spine on that knife is thicker than a bowl of oatmeal.

I like that the angle of grinding is chosen by tilting the entire mechanism, not the support part. I think it gives the worker some special convenience.

There is no replacement for understanding material and taking the time to develope technique.

Ножи клевые но минус у них один чуть увидел где то каплю воды и тут же начинает ржавчиной покрываться, следить за ним надо мыть вытирать

Деревянная конструкция гриндера очень впечатлила!
Да, интересно, при том, что это сплошная фанера, даже лента скользит по фанере. Очень интересно, что угол обработки выбирается наклоном механизма, а не подставки. Мне представляется, что в этом есть своё удобство, и даже немалое.
Получился прикольный острый предмет!

I'll say "Chunky", by 60% in the blade and the same in handle. Too heavy for my chain anyway. He just wanted to keep the file pattern.
