- Shamu Rocks was a nighttime show with fireworks, live music and band, and of course Shamu. The SeaWorld Orlando Show is no longer in production at this time. SeaWorld Orlando no longer has theatrical shows after 2019. PETA is against the containment of animals and after backlash from Backlash many things changed at the theme parks. SeaWorld has rescued over 40,000 animals and is committed to research and also rescue and release. The trainers are no longer able to get in the water with the whale either.

this show made me fall in love with the song You and Me by the life house! I love that song so much and the part to it with the trainer and orca is beautiful!

I was in seaworld a month ago and saw that new orca encounter show, and it was far from as spectacular as this is! they really knew how to put on a fun show. Good for the orcas that they don’t work as hard anymore, they deserve a break from performances but wow this is cool, if only they would make new shows this fun with lights and the screens
I wish I can go back to seaworld, I haven't been there for a long time :(

This was my favorite out of all the shows at the Shamu Stadium. Went to see this a few times when I was young, this show certainly rocked (Pun inttended).

When was this exact show? Because I saw this show June 22nd, 2013!
I support Sea World but i'm glad the fireworks were removed from animal stadiums. Some things sound different to them. Maybe the music might sound normal to them but maybe the fireworks would stress them.

If these animals didn't want to do what they were trained to do, then they don't have to do it. The trainers don't do anything to hurt the animal if they don't do what they're asked to do. The animals do it voluntarily. They are loved and cared for by the trainers and everyone else that works at the parks. The animals are in some of the best of hands by being taken care of instead of being caught up in some fisherman's net at sea and slowly dying and being attacked by other sea life. Seeing all these negative comments about the marine life being in captivity just angers me.
It pisses me off to! I have a membership to Seaworld thanks to a friend of mine who works there. She showed me how everything goes there and these orcas are NOT abused! The definition of abuse is "to inflict physical harm and torture" which honestly is NOT going on here! These orcas were rescued, raised and are pampered.
"RESCUED"?? No, in-bred in captiivty. "Pampered"?? Riight. Bouncing off concrete walls is a real blast.

Jane Doe7x Correction Tilikum killed 2 people. Haidia 2 killed the trainer at marine land of the pacific. Tilikum killed Daniel Dukes because he felt threatened by him. Who wouldn't if some wack job decided to mess with you and invade your space. Tilikum killed Dawn, not on purpose. He played a lot with long ropy like toys. He also never had water works done with him,same goes with dense water works. She was doing dense water works with him,her pony tail was in the water by him. Which he could've mistaken that for one of his toys. So he grabbed it and acted as if it was one of his toys. When it killed her. He never was the same after that,and he also mourned the loss of her. He never left her side that day. Blackfish is 85% false and only 15% true.

Gabriella Cowperthwaite and her producers have done the public a service by giving us "Blackfish." I understand that some people do not like "Blackfish" because it exposes things that they would prefer to be kept hidden. It's time for change. The Shamu show has got to go. Don't buy a ticket to a whale or dolphin show.

I feel like this show is a disaster waiting to happen. I can't believe they are being subjected to perform with such loud music and fireworks, noises not found in the wild and sure to infuriate them. The trainers have been reduced to backup dancers. Shame on Sea World.

Plus they would be doing these behaviors in the wild and they have a higher chance of dying in wild since all the stuff and even tho they are the top predator still
Whether or not black fish was a lie, this still isn’t right. Some of these whales were captured and bombs were used to capture them. So think about how the noise of fireworks would make them feel, maybe that’s why the trainers aren’t in the water along with it being so dark you can hardly see. Whales should not dance for amusement and SeaWorld does not just set their whales free after they are healthy, they keep them and have breed more whales. You don’t have to watch blackfish to know this. Even if the movie was a lie, the facts are in the documents along with all the deaths and incidents or how they like to say “accidents” are all recorded. Plain and simple it’s not okay. What if someone locked you up in a tank for 10 years, possibly starved you to perform tricks when they wanted you do, and took you away from your family. These Orcas have an emotional connection with their families and if you look it up you’ll see that they have a part of the brain that we don’t have that makes them become in unison with their family.
Heart anyone of you something about the BLACKFISH documentary? The comments here are sad! You All should watch These Film and think about your opinion about wales living in jail!!
Paula _mnr hello, look up some facts about blackfish from sources like Time, NBC, etc. seaWorld donates an insane amount of time and money to rescue and it’s the wrong move to not support SeaWorld if you love animals.
Blackfish is a lie. The director said it herself. She said she only made it for shock value and didn’t care about the truth. CNN aired that show many times Bc the money they were making on ads was insane and they didn’t care if it was true or not. You really think trainers would work there 20 plus years if they thought they were abusing the animals? I don’t think so
You dont understand that almost everyone here has seen blackfish but actually see through the lies.
