    Lookin good GunR. Getting ready to make my next move on the C5 Corvette. I want to get some adjustability to the system with a peak of around 20psi sticking with some form of a PD blower.

      Moving the steering rack forward would allow you to run an LSA balancer and run a 2650 like I have here on my truck but requires some fab other than that I’ve seen a whipple on cleetus McFarlands Chanel that will make 20psi

    What all had to be dont to this engine in order for it to run appropriately with the suoer charger? Bigger injectors, fuel pump, oil pump, cooling add ons? Etc....

    Shits nasty! Do you notice a big difference from the 1900 lsa? Does it run cooler an are you using less boat to make more power?

    • @Gunrcowan
      @Gunrcowan  Год назад +1

      It runs wayyyy cooler than the LSA my IATS haven’t gotten over 120° as of yet and I autocross the truck and it made 550whp without a camshaft and my friends LSA caprice with a cammed 6.0 made 601 whp so only a 50hp difference on the same boost but he had a huge camshaft

      @@Gunrcowanwow very nice congrats that’s impressive with no camshaft, and running the same amount of boost. I wanted to jump right into the 2650 an skip the 1900 due to iats. Is the blower much bigger than the 1900? I have a forged pistons an rods 6.0 looking to make some reliable power.

    Why waste the money on the 2650 when your not even maken lsa #'s. A fully built cammed heads 6.0 even at its pullied limit isnt enough to run a 2650. U could save money and run a ported pullied lsa and make damn near 800whp

      @@robertbailey3057 stock camshaft stock heads stock bottom end, I had an LSA on here before and it made around 60whp less while the IATs increased around 40° on every pull the IATs with the 2650 only increased 6° after 2 dyno pulls on a 100° day the truck sees autocross and track use so keeping IATs low is very important I don’t need short bursts of 800whp I need consistent power and controlled temps with E85 and a cam this setup will make 750+who on the same pulley I have but I have a stock slipping 200,000 mile transmisson still so I mean the truck has a completely different purpose than what people are used to

      @@robertbailey3057 yea without a camshaft on 91 octane 😂😂 literally 100$ on a tank of E85 and it’s over 600whp and then $1,200 for a camshaft and a pulley and I’m well over 750whp truck was mostly built this way for testing seeing just how much power a completly stock truck ~280whp originally would pick up from just a supercharger alone and we pretty much doubled the HP output I’d say that’s a really good result considering some cammed 6.0 LSA builds are near making 550whp
