Idk never had it stock,but stock fuel system and no eth made 530whp. Stock fixed head and cam
RPM did their cam package on my 08 M6 LS3 and that made more power then that blower..
It's simple - RPM uploads a new video, I click and like before watching it, then watch it at least once, rinse and repeat. Keep up the great work guys!
I would be so mad if I spent 6k on a blower and it only made 63whp more! Glad I went with procharger P1X system. Made 604Whp, TQ 554 From my baseline at 430whp.

@@Rhett.Castillo dude when I had my 5th gen ss I installed a procharger and it was pretty decent for a 5th gen, my buddy wanted boost and his dumbass bought the edelbrock and it was DRASTICALLY slower with literally the same mods I had and same tuner here in Phoenix. Those things are absolutely garbage 😂

My friend had a edlebrock e-force on his 2012 camaro ss and it was nothing but problems since day one. His tuner highly recommended he get a different blower. After selling it and buying a procharger he went from 490 on the e-force to 625 on the procharger!
a Set of heads make more power than that supercharger, ouch....
To be fair it was a different engine and car. They were both red...but one was a Z06
Cam only LS3’s will make considerably more power than that blower. Way cheaper than heads

Verisimilitude Dude it was the yellow one they were working on the heads. Dyno is around 9 minutes mark
The tune accounts for a significant portion of that increase.

The heads fix on a C6 Z isn’t super cheap, but for the power increases you see from just that and a tune, makes it easier to stomach

Quick to call something trash. Do a little research, is not the supercharger. It’s the mechanic.
Edelbrock is a direct bolt on, super safe, super usable, superb daily boost application.
Even with nothing more than the mildest of pully / tune from edelbrock, you’re looking at an increase of 120 WHP to a bone stock car.

This was 3 yrs ago, before E-85 was popular, with the Edelbrock E-Force you need smaller pulley, big fuel pump and big injectors with E-85 and you'll get 700hp out of a LS3 motor, That's what I did for $20k and its fun running @ 11 psi

Do you ever get a chance to check the guides on any of the stock LS7 heads that you remove, be interesting to see what percentage are bad.

What's the best supercharger for the LS2?
I've heard the magnusen heartbeat is amazing. I know they have ls3 and ls7 kits. So I bet they have ls2 kits

Something seems very wrong... I'm over 600rwhp on mine. GT9 cam, heads, longtubes and still using the bigger 3.5 pulley.
Fran, ya its 25 psi plus and magic cam, Joey's CTSV is a weapon now and watch the show now boys. Gotta pay to play is the whole game but RPM gets it's done on any budget. I've been watching since day 1
Please tell me why they aren't doing better than that. I thought the E Force was the same basic unit that came on the LS9. I guess not, but I'm wondering....Is the driven pulley is too large?
As a matter of fact the 2300 edelbrock makes for the LT4 application is ALSO SUSPECT but the tvs 2650 on LT4 with supporting mods is pretty good

Can you overlay before and after including torque, hp , boost and rpm.
Something is off here. The tvs2300 is a very well respected supercharger, and Edelbrock puts them in a LOT of applications with zero issues, so I'm thinking the guy doing the tuning, install, or whatever else needs to fix what he is doing wrong.
I have personally tuned this exact model supercharger to the tune of about 570hp on the dyno I was on with a stock setup, and been well into the 600s with a few minor changes.
Instead of bashing something you clearly don't know how to tune, you should instead call Edelbrock and get the help you need to fix your problem.

At 9:39 and 19:10, wow those are like Msd ported intake and headers numbers, so the stock headers must be damn good. Confusingly though it seems to show that the stock air intake is not that bad, while I thought the consensus was that they are quite restrictive 🙃

They use Eaton TVS blowers across the board but I’m not aware of what they may have done internally to those Eaton blowers.
It uses the same TVS2300 as the others. But that number is a lot lower than it should be. But it is April 1st, so...
My Edelbrock e-Force on my LS3 C6 GS M6 I started at 371 RWHP to 423 then added the Stage 2 and now make 505 at the wheels. I have no problems with this.
If your cool with 85 hp from a supercharger then I guess you won’t have problems.
@@RaceProvenMotorsports the e force kit is just very conservative. it's a 4.125" pulley to start with which is quite large obviously. I have the kit on my 2011 5.3 LMG, went pulley down, bolt ons and made around 520+whp with a 3.875" pulley
@@squidmix2857 I upgraded my plugs, fuel-pump, and smaller pulley and now making 635hp. I removed those heat-soaking metal covers and it is much more lively.

Had a question ? If anyone can answer it . How much can a 6l80 trans and stalk converter handle with fbo e85 from 2014 Silverado with 100,xxx miles on it . Always on top with maintenance .

A friend of mine put an Edelbrock supercharger on his LS3 Corvette and was very disappointed in it. He ended up removing it and selling it.

Damn - that is bad. When they are bone stock - yes the suck - but with basic mods they can put down decent numbers.
I made 580 with a set of cnc LS3 heads, ls9 cam, and 93 pump gas and a t56.
With the same mods, a smaller pulley, an A&A fuel system, E85 - I just put down 705 rwhp.
What pulley size? How much boost?
I have a 6.0, ls3 heads, 228/240 cam, and Eforce . Gonna be on E85 and a th400.
Used those M311s on my C6 build. Will be cool to see you do video on them.
Who did the install? Was this a new kit or a used one? I have seen people make good power with the Edelbrock superchargers.

I made the mistake of buying EB 2650. The absolute best boost we could get was 3 pounds. Sent it back. I am now waiting on the mag2650.
What’s an EB 2650. You obviously had something wrong to only see 3 lbs with a 2650.

@@gnls3827it was actually on a challenger 6.4 426 fully forged. I’m not sure why it would not make boost. There was no leaks everything appeared to be ok. Same car with the magnuson 2650 makes over 700 RWHP. I heard that some of the EB had the same problem.
Not sure on the challengers. I know someone running 8.50’s with a Edelbrock 2650 on a lt camaro.
I’m thinking of pro charging my 2007 LS2 Corvette (It’s a base model) what do y’all think? Any ideas? I’m going with the LS9 Cam and the centrifugal supercharger, but any advise?

What’s your meaning to pro charger for a LS7 ??low boost , not too much as there is already cam and heads are done
We have plenty of videos of us explaining boost level timing etc we typically use A&A kit however

My Edelbrock on a stock LS2 motor with lots of fuel delivery capacity went from 344 to 461.
Looks like its gonna be awhile before it gets to the track.
My cam only ls2 is making 450 rwhp and has went 11.79 @122 with crappy 1.8 60’ (still learning new clutch) and that was 2300 DA. Better air and more practice will be 11.5 @ 123

why does edelbrock blower perform so bad specifically?
It’s not a bad blower at all. It uses the same rotor pack as the Heartbeat, or Whipple, the TVS2300. But as Edelbrock typically sells it as a kit with a tune, the tune included is crap. It’s runs such a rich, conservative tune that you don’t get much power gains. I think RPM’s problem is they are used to working with max effort superchargers and making 700+ hp.
Also, it’s April 1st.
Shane Broussard if its just as good and uses the same rotor pack, why is it not making good power? There is obviously a problem if they are making 150+hp more out of a blower that you claim is the same thing....

Mvstng GT Yeah, not sure but there is something not right with this car. I have nearly the exact same setup (headers, E-force, about 7.8 psi, C6 GS LS3) and my car made 520 to the wheels on a Mustang dyno.

Have Edelbrock heads on my 392 Stroker Ram, total pieces of crap!!! Had TONS of problems with them right out of the box, I'll never buy Edelbrock crap again. They've always been crappier than all the other brands!

Well I am stuck with my C6Z06 Eforce. Forced upon me by "Injection Connection" total hacks here in PA. Sent me out lean and blew a motor...2 times. Now it is time to upgrade fuel and fatten it up.
Unless you want to set me up with a whole new setup? 10 grand wth may as well. I have a new GMPP crate motor with mild cam, forged pistons ready to drop in.
I had the Maggie on my C5 and did 125k great miles. Now with Eforce I have the same lean run condition like you cry about in the vid!
Once we get the mixture right, is this going to be ok?
I am in East Strouds PA. Have you gotten these to run well? Will you tune it? I am not throwing it away and going back to stock but so far, the car runs like crap. This needs to be my last build for my daily driver.
I put $100k into a 60k car and nothing to show. Ecs couldn't tune it either, threw on a booster and an alky kit is about it.

Magnuson 2650 if you want maximum power. Whipple 2.9 if your looking for 900-1050hp. The maggie 2300 will produce the same pwr for more money. That's why I brought up the whipple unit.

7 lb of boost and a 60 horsepower gain that's not horrible. I personally hate superchargers but there's engines out there that gain less with Boost from a turbo on that low of boost. I have a feeling the tune wasn't that good you can see at the beginning that tq was bouncing. I'm sure if you had put actual time and care into it would have been a lot better. I bet it would have responded really well E85.

What is THE best supercharger for making power?
A centrifugal type
Positive displacement for low end power. Or centrifugal for top end power.
If it isnt a magnuson 2650 or a procharger D1X or higher it ain't worth it. Whipple 2.9 hits about 1050 hp and they are done. Magnuson tvs 2300's are the same.
If your looking for more than 1000hp go 2650, d1x, f1, etc.
