Really appreciate your taking the time to put this out there brother. It saved my ass several times and I could not have done it without you. Saved me $678.00 to have it done at the dealership! Thanks again…
So with the 14s you don’t have to change the wires and how much taller from the factory bars and how comfortable are they driving on the highway And can you maneuver a good in and out of traffic??
My dude .... awesome video ... bout to do this ... I got the push back seat and full arm extension is killing my carpal tunnel.. I'll be doing the stereo Rockford Fosgate stereo to the 2nd amp and lowers and bag speaker upgrade .. hoping you got a video on that as well
@ridefitnation ok well if you go Rockford Fosgate... id highly recommend getting through the dealership or call Rockford directly... theres a special kit to put the amp in the bags all plug and play
What is the diameter of the risers on stock 2022 road glides? I have the ST and need to do a 14in bar swap. Will 1.25in bars not fit in the stock riser?
Thanks for such a well narrated and detailed video. Would you say I could get away with installing a 16 inch set of dominoes without an extention kit? I live in South Africa and just imported a set of 16 inch dominoes from Handlebar Lee, challenge is our Harley dealer does not stock extention kit nor is there local availability of such
@@ridefitnation Thanks for the prompt response. Does that also apply to the clutch and brake cables or just the electronic wiring would be too short for 16 inch bars?
Please help…have two skinny connectors left unconnected. I’ve researched that one/ male connector is for heated grips. The other is coming from the bike itself not the handle bars…what’s it purpose?? Thx
@@ridefitnation thx I figured it out. The connector coming from harness is the power for the heated grip, which u have to remove the cap. The other connector coming from the throttle by wire from the bar itself is also for heated grips.
@@shadmcpherson4512 if no power is coming on then you probably connected the wires wrong down by the handle bar riser area. Low tire pressure is a error code that you can clear or harley could clear it for you.

thank you ,great work bro , ima install my 16" hammerheads my self. the dealer try to charge me 1300 dollars and said that if I do it my self it will void my warranted . we'll fuck it void my warranted then lol .
They are lying to you man. Only engine parts can void your warranty. You will need to remove the tank which is easy as heck to run your new break line. Save that money and get to know your bike. Don’t get frustrated with it and take your time.
I been checking out a lot of these videos. Not one of them has changed the riser bushings. Should just be one ground wire and three pinch bolts on the top tree.
I changed the riser bushings on my personal bike because I have 20” bars. I didn’t have any wires on mine. Just the two bolts. Not sure what you mean by three pinch bolts and ground wire. Explain.
Just trying to figure out how the riser bushings are changed out on the Road Glides. Harley recommends changing them. I saw a video were they pulled off the top part of the tree. Because of those bushings there was a ground running up to the bars. Maybe I will just invest in service manual.
Great instructional. The right amount of detail without bogging down the video. I installed new bars with your help, thanks.
Happy to help

Heck yeah
Great video - Thanks for making this. It was nice to hear you go into detail on some of the finer points that other videos seem to skip.
Happy it helped Dan
Well done 👍 New bikes are so much easier than back in the day & the internal wire harnesses really clean up the whole area.
Agreed
Great video. I was gonna pay someone thinking it's out of my skill set but you made me change my mind
You got this! Keep me posted

Looks easier than doing a twin cam softail. I like the chosen bars.

It’s much taller than the factory bars. Do
Front is all based on the individual. Handling of a bike with any bar is based on the rider.
Very good job, well done 👍
Many thanks

Great class, I have 18 inch game changes
Dope.

18’s will require a bit more work. But good stuff Armand
You actually did a really good job on your video.

Well done! Thanks for sharing. What bars did you put on?
Thanks David. These are 14” Dominoes from handle bar lee
Did you have to swap the brake and clutch cables?
What is the diameter of the risers on stock 2022 road glides? I have the ST and need to do a 14in bar swap. Will 1.25in bars not fit in the stock riser?
It’s 1..25 but I’m not sure what size you need for your bike. Call HD to confirm.
Where did he find the 14 inch pullback bars from?
Handlebar Lee is where I got it from for him. Ask for Bill

Nope. You have to change everything

How did you take LH side grip off?
Are you referring to the stock one. If so, use a long screw driver to pry it off. It’s glued down tight.

You have to be way more specific on what you’re talking about. Email me RIDEFITNATION@gmail.com send a few pics as well B1boi.

Will this be same process for the 2023 Road Glide?
Don’t see a reason why it should be much different.
100% the same.
Nice job
Thanks Brent
Hi, did you run both throttle wire and buttons wire at the same time? If so how? I can't understand how to make it work.
No. Run throttle owes first then the power wire harness second. Use a thin strong chain. You have to be patient.
Thankyou!
@@shadmcpherson4512 you will feel like it’s not working but it will. As long as you push and pull slowly
So I got it all back together and my gauges will not come on. Screen says low tire presser and no button's work.
