Did you need the clutch cable and brake line extensions? Working on mine right now and I am being told that 12 inch bars need those. Not an issue currently because mine is apart and I am at the point of reassembly.
@@kr3garage Did you have to pull the clutch and brake line out to get more? I currently have my Roadglide apart and have No wiggle room with the Lines and I bought the 10". Was there a clip inside or zip tie on the lines restricting them from giving me more? Also, did your bars come with the throttle already in them, or did you remove your stock one and put it in the bar?
Good video install is as easy as putting it together backwards of how you took it off
about to order the same bars, this will help huge!
Happy to help
You said the shorter bars help with your hands going numb??? I currently have 10 inch bars and was told I needed to go to 16 inch to help with that??
My hands went incredibly numb with 14’s the 12’s helped my situation.
@@kr3garage thanks for the reply you just saved me a bunch of money then

I used the stock cables. It was pretty tight for 12” but worked

Those are 12 inch
Thanks😊@@kr3garage
So to be clear, you bought the 100% prewired bars? Which meant you didn't have to pull ANY WIRES....correct?
Correct
@@kr3garage Thanks for your speedy response!
The bars came out great! Those mirrors though 😮 love the new grips too!
Is that color the Twisted Cherry?
Hot rod hard candy
These are the 12”?
Yes
How did you cut the nubs off?
Never mind I used a hammer and chisel , couple of hits came right off.
Dremel
I used flat head screwdriver and a hammer, 2 hits, done!
14 inch dominator meet hook 100% pre wired. Moved both clutch and throttle cables to get more length and fit 2021 RGS. Hope this helps.
@@harleycrasher8396any issues with controls sliding around after removing the nub ? Thought about just drilling holes in the bars .
This basically shows the break down but not the install.
Wasted time.
Please feel free to e-mail me with questions you have or if you need help. I’d be happy to assist. 🤙
