I really appreciate you showing the community how easy this is to do, but more importantly how important it is to do. your life is worth more than any money you save trying not to buy the part.
Man thank you for taking the time to respond , just got a 22 road glide limited last Friday and been researching like crazy. Going to install some factory 47 signature bars and wasn’t sure about the clutch thing
Put the 6 inch extension on. Having trouble with the red clip not grabbing on to anything when I click it back into place. Clutch feels way too loose and isn’t even pulling the bottom wire.
i just ended up having back surgery bout 3 months ago found my spine was pinching my never had a bulging disk push my nerve into my spine they cut the bulge out then drill a pinky size hole in my spine had back issues for years and got worse and worse dr said i was to young and nothing they could do
@@ridefitnation Thanks man, i got factory 47 14 inch bars coming this week for my 2022 road glide and got the clutch extension but wasn't sure about the brake. Appreciate the video brother!
@@ridefitnation wont lie, got worried about running wires so ordered prewired as this is my first road glide. The guys at factory 47 are awesome but still gunna take my time. Just glad riding session is coming to an end up here in Ontario or else I may have rushed it and made a costly mistake! thanks tho brother and will keep ya in the loop. love the content and hope your back is doing better
You're doing it all wrong, you're supposed to collapse the spring before you disconnect the cable. Also when you push the red tabs in, use your finger I don't care what fat baggers says you don't need a screwdriver. You're not supposed to remove the red clip from the cable.... I do agree with road glide Nation. I just installed last week factory 47 14-inch signature bars Which technically are 12.5" and the clutch cable is very tight. Too tight for my liking. I didn't push the handle bars forward slightly to take some stress off the cable. I removed the cable out of the clip it was hoised in to gain some slack. When you turn the handle bar to the left that's when the cable tightens up. So this extension is a must or a new cable unlike what factory 47 says, you definitely need to add length to the cable.

Fully agreed and thank you.
Thanks for the video. Do you have a video on adjusting the clutch lever if it’s too loose after adding the extension?
Awesome job. Getting ready to do this myself as soon as all the parts arrive. Oh, and I feel your pain man. Lower back pain is no joke.
Facts. I wouldn’t wish back pains on anyone.
Great job again Bro. Thanks. Hope your back gets better soon. Stay healthy we need you!!
Thank you Stephen. I appreciate that my bro
You made it look nice and easy. Great job on this video, even with the back out! Thanks!
Much appreciated
Thank you for the education. That's so much better then replacing the hole cable.
Facts!
Thanks bro! You save me some serious loot! For your back, foam roll before EVERY workout.
Happy to help!
I appreciate u brother. I'm gonna put one on my streetglide to take tension off the clutch
Happy to help
Nice video, helped me to understand how extender works! Just ordered 8” for 2022 Street Bob.
Man thank you so much you made that so easy 10 15 minutes tops if you know what your doing
Happy to assist Samuel
Thank you for taking the time to cut this video. Extremely helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Did you need to readjust your clutch?
All the other cables you did not need extensions? Just the clutch?
Shout out for the vid. This was a great explanation of what the hell is going on with the clutch extension thing!
Thank you
Thank you. Now I know how. Good Job!
💪🏾
Thank you. Hope your back gets better
Thank you
Thanks bro love you're videos
Thank you, and little man for his skills also
Thank you for watching
Sweet, thanks for showing that.
Happy to help
Did you only have to do three clutch or the brake also
The brake is fine for the 14’s
Will this work for a 24 street bob?
Nice, thank you!
Anytime David
I feel that it's like a nerve straight up stay up brotha
Damn nerves be acting up at times for real!
Nice product
Thanks
The instructions read not to remove the red adjuster, but to collapse the spring and push the adjuster back. Suggestion?
You have to push the red adjuster out in order to make any adjustments. That is what locks it all in place. You don’t have to take it all the way out.
thank you bro
💪🏽
And where did you order the kit from
I purchased so many parts I don’t remember. But google it and you’ll will find it.
Hello, did you use the stock brake lines?
Definitely. No need to change out the break line for 14” bars at all.

Thank you Samuel

Did you adjust the tension screw?
Also did you make sure that you needed the 4” and not the 6”?

Back pain is never fun. Most Doctors are only playing the guessing game when it comes to back problems.
did you do the brake extension too?
No. The break line has plenty room.

@@jongillis7913 no worries. You’re going to do a great job. Just take your time with running those wires through the bar. Keep me posted.

👍🏽
What size bars?
14”
Shit I wish it was that simple for my 09 street glide 🤯
You have hydraulic clutch so
It will definitely be different.
i need that clip, i lost my original
Did you call the dealership?
keto or carnivore diet may help, might but not certain, many nerve pain is from inflammation I feel. worth a try at least.
Which part are you referring to?
just get to the title of the video don't care about your personal problems
How about you move on and don’t worry about this video because I don’t care what you think.
not caring what I think has nothing to do with my comment, maybe that is part of your problem you can't stay on subject
Did you have to adjust anything
Yes. You have to readjust the clutch
