Thank you so much. We are deeply committed to all of our fur-babies. Funny story but most people in our neighborhood think we're vets because of all the animals we rescue and treat. (LOL).

You just went up in my estimation another 100% for rescuing & helping needy animals as well as advising people!
I’m noticing many pets are now getting similar Symptoms and many after vaccines are developing Immune disorders skin rashes hair loss and many other symptoms!
In 2019 I was maliciously poisoned and had to search a lot of remedies to heal my body even though we got a lot of animals in the vets poisoned I had no idea how long the Symptoms or pain would last! I had to pay for my own toxicology tests and found I’d developed auto immune disorders 100 food allergies and Cushing’s disease - High cortisol from the stress! Had also gluten and wheat allergies and my VitD was down 80% - our British health care system seemingly missed all those including heart attacks on the ECg and internal blood loss! Spirulena and chlorella helps detox the body and lemon juice honey and natural yoghurt with some berries and milk thistle and slipperly elm eventually sorted the gut issues and pain went away finally after 4years! I also had high cholesterol which they put me on statins I could hardly donation for a week! Did some research found red yeast rice and plant sterols might help took them for 3 months it fell in half - next visit to GP he asked what I’d taken so I explained why I’d had to treat myself and have him all the toxicology tests I’d got done privately!
So sorry that looks awful so may people are saying they got something similar after their vaccines! I believe the vaccines have been spreading zoonotic & bacterial disease amongst humans as they contain EColi mRNA and some primate kidney cells but they also make some in eggs and never bothered to test for any primate or chicken diseases! If you watch Stanley Plotkins vaccine testimony on line you will be shocked! Also the mRNA production is on YT - every single thing in those vaccines would cause an auto immune disorders & much worse! I also had high blood pressure which I treated with red onions and garlic and used turmeric as anti inflammatory as my legs awoke up due to getting no heart care I also took coenzyme q10 and quercertin and extra high strength multi vitamin & olive leaf & olive oil also helps lubricate joints! Thanks for this info I was looking for a friends dad who just had had a horrific outbreak of shingles! 🙏

My question is simply, "why the sudden increase in shingles?". From some of my own personal studies, our natural food supply is being compromised. The soils that our foods are grown in, are highly depleted of the nutrients that were once in the soils many years ago. From the 1920's, '30's, '40's and such, the soils were much more dense in proper nutrients. Now, everything is sprayed with pesticides, herbicides, etc., and the soils are simply not the same. So, if we aren't supplementing with the right vitamins and herbs, including herbal teas, I believe those deficiencies will definitely affect our immunities. This was a great video and hosted a wealth of information. Thank you for sharing.

    • @NerveDoctors
      @NerveDoctors  9 месяцев назад +3

Great question and you are on target. Yes, today we don't receive the same nutrient content in our foods as we did 100 years ago for the exact reasons you mentioned along with the failure of appropriate crop rotation and commercial farming. Also, people no longer get enough sleep, which is imperative for a healthy immune system and do very little to dissipate the constant stress in their lives that they're bombarded with. When I ask my average patient what they do for stress relief, they'll tell me they watch TV. This will not decrease stress. On the contrary, research has shown that it can drastically raise cortisol levels.

I am 87. I am almost over a case of shingles. I remember when I was young shingles was extremely common. We had healthy food if you call food that was homegrown healthy. We have animals without any hormones or antibiotics or anything like that but shingles were just as common as they are now even more so. Just a personal comment. By the way, my cholesterol is normal. I’m not a diabetic. My blood pressure is fine. My biggest problem was peripheral neuropathy which I control with fix vapour rub. I am hypothyroid last year. I had a lot of problems with my thyroid. I swung from being hypothyroid to the top of the hyper thyroid scale. My physician had to reduce my Synthroid by about 40 whatever it is lol

Lemon balm is THE BOMB for shingles. Coupled with L-Lysine, it can’t be beat. I used Urban ReLeaf Lysine & Lemon Balm Blister Soothing Gel (no connection to company) topically and both L-Lysine and lemon balm tea (yum!!) internally. Relief began immediately. Before I got the lemon balm products, I happened to have dried calendula flowers on hand. I made a tea with the flowers and dabbed the outbreaks with that. It was also quite helpful.

I totally agree! I had recurring outbreaks of shingles for 5 years, despite daily doses of acyclovir drugs. I think I was referred to every specialist in Los Angeles and San Diego counties, with zero help. Then I read a short few sentences in an herbal magazine stating that doctors in Germany were treating chicken pox in kids with lemon balm. Hmmm, why not try it?
I headed straight over to herb store and bought some. Made a carafe of lemon balm tea and drank it all the rest of the day. Wow! Next day, rash was clearly better and nearly all the pain was gone.
Lysine has never seemed to help, but perhaps it was and I didn't notice. I have had low vit D levels for years, and from time to time, the dr. prescribes 5,000 iu daily, but it doesn't include K2. Clearly I need to remedy.
Now I add plantain (the ground cover 'weed') and chamomile to my lemon tea. I also make 'shingles' wine, using the same herbs. It hasn't stopped the outbreaks 100% but they aren't so often, pain is much reduced and the outbreak doesn't last as long.

Lemon balm causes the virus' protective coating to fall apart, our immune system then can get rid of the virus. Rosemary, oregano and peppermint have the same effect. I make a tea of the rosemary oreganoo and peppermint then add Manuka honey.

I came down with fibromyalgia over 20 years ago. The stress of that and no viable remedies I then came down with shingles. My 1st symptom was pain in my foot and ankle like a burning skin sensation. It lasted a week and then I got a rash on my left butt cheek. I thought spider bite. Waited to go to doctor for a week but it was getting worse. He said shingles and there was nothing he could do. I continued with that every other month when my left ovary would ovulate causing a body stress. I went on like this until the 1st shingles shot years later helped a little. I took antivirals and that helped but the best was the second shingles shot about 4 years ago. I only suffer if I get overly stressed. I try to avoid stress. Limit people, news, gossip etc. I find my best pain reliever to be magnesium. I meditate, yoga, red light therapy, walking dogs, feeding wildlife, reading non stressful books etc. I do feel like I am always running a fever. I get way over heated beyond what others feel. I think that is a fever that continues to fight my shingles. Im 66. Wouldn't wish this on a single soul. Peace be with you.

I had shingles for 8-1/2 years until I researched that Methotrexate was causing my outbreaks. No rheumatologist knew why I had it every week for years on both hips. When I lowered my MTX doses, the shingles was less frequent. Once I changed my diet and my doctors prescribed an increased dose of Vitamin D3 the shingles became less prominent (one hip). Then I discovered K2 helped clear up the shingles quickly, but would return in 2-4 blisters each month. Your additional treatments entice me, and encourage me to see if this controls the outbreaks entirely. I am 73 and have used Methotrexate for 22+ years. My Neurologist told my Rheumatologist that adding Prednisone and/or Arava would worsen my neuropathy. I don't like the side effects of those medicines anyway. So, thank you for your advice. You have given me some comfort to know that I can tweak my regime more so I can suppress shingles even more. My medical team of healthcare specialists have exhausted what they are permitted to reveal to me. Your experience and research allows me to be less frustrated in how to manage my particular situation. Thank you!

Thank you Drs. for this very good video. It confirms and affirms how we got here and how to get well. I found the medical treatment prescriptions eventually started making me sick. (example my stomach microbes seemed to be strongly effected. Now I am taking probiotic L-Reuteri, and kefir which is replacing a much needed microbe that antibiotics when we were children, had killed off decades ago. This ability to replace what was missing in our gut is a wonderful gift to our whole system, nerves, skin, and oxytocin levels. Replacing missing microbiom parts is a marvelous.)I researched and studied but felt alone in doing my researched home remedy applications. But you confirmed I am on the right track. Blessings to you for also explaining how to get run down and vulnerable. Sometimes it can't be helped when we go through life events, but wisdom of how to care for self through those times will keep us in the safer preventitive zone even during difficult times.

With that said like you I had a combination fo lack of good sleep, heavy sunburn, and stress. With the heat in Idaho I was starting very early at the ranch building new fence when I had a land dispute (stress) I got a very sore area on my left neck (I thought was from pounding fence posts. Then I developed blisters went to a doctor and confirmed it was not sunburn but shingles. I took the medicine for about a week the blisters went away now going on 3 weeks I have nerve pain from my left ear down my neck shoulder left arm and left pictorial muscle. I wonder if the virus got into my right lung coz i felt there was something obstructing it that i just needed to cough out. The unbearable pain was due to what i thought was abdominal muscle spasm due to coughing. I had to be brought to ER. The most terrifying pain though that sent me screaming was the sharp stabbing pain like i was being cut by a hot seared knife. I didn't get the shingles vaccination and do not recommend it. I don't plan on getting the vaccination. If you look at the Shingrix commercial on RUclips, you'll see in a 1 minute commercial, they spend 50 sec. reporting all the side effects associated with the vaccine. It's not worth the risk when there's safer alternatives such as L-lysine.

Thank you so much for this excellent video. I'm so sorry that you had to suffer such an extreme case of shingles and cellulitis especially on your head which is an intensely painful place to have it and so scary too because of your eyes. I had everything you mentioned in the house so as soon as I saw the few tiny blisters appear on my belly I started the protocol. I had shingles for the first time back in 2020 following the death of my husband. I did a lot of what you mentioned as I have knowledge this information and I also used CBD/THC 1:1 oil on the lesions which is amazing. This is probably only good advice for Canadians as it is legal here. The trigger for me this time was chocolate ( arginine). I make my own and it is only sweetened with dates and a tiny amount of maple syrup but I had been eating a bit more than usual and that is what triggered the outbreak. No more chocolate for me for awhile:) I did feel itching in my body and knew it was a warning sign but like you, ignored it. Fortunately I was on top of it as soon as I saw the teeniest rash and it has not spread. I feel a little off, it is day 3 but so grateful for brilliant information such as this. 🙏💜

Once we utilized all three of these things then we saw reversal of PHN.

Vicks just about cured my peripheral neuropathy and I had PN through my whole leg including my feet…burning, numb and tingling.Since then most of the time it’s gone but when it’s not, an application of Vicks makes it at least bearable but most times terminates it. Then it often disappears for a week.I had neuralgia after shingles, which was driving me nuts so I applied Vicks just out of curiosity and it worked. I don’tknow whether it’s psychological or it actually has some effect. All I know is that it worked for me and I don’t care how it worked ….as long as it worked.

I had a heart transplant and was on high dose steroids and anti rejection drugs, my first outbreak occurred about 8 months after my tx and then recurred 2 more times. My Drs put me on daily valtrax, I decided to reduce and then eliminate it after a couple years with no recurrence. Yup, it came back on my leg and hurt the most. My Dr made me go back on it. I'm watching this to find out how to get off this drug, so more damage doesn't occur. Thank you, no one has talked about holistic options.

My outbreak began with horrible nightly headaches and not knowing anything of shingles, I was convinced it was a tumor🤔. Also while walking outside, the wind would blow my hair and it felt like they were breaking pieces of glass. Still not putting 2 and 2 together and even if I had, I never got the blisters so it wasn't a routine outbreak.
The dermatologist diagnosed it, put me on Valeclyclovir, the shingles did go into my eye followed by another round of the "V" drug plus prednisone in my eye. And yes, for 18 months I've been dealing with post herpetic pain and trying to mend the damaged nerves by putting to use the Nerve Doctors advice. I gave up sugar 3 months ago to limit inflammation and am taking Nuphoria with Lions Mane and cautiously am noticing a very slight improvement. I'm committed to this coarse and will let you know how it goes. Also, as is commonly said, I was greatly stressed prior to outbreak and the mysterious symptoms and my imagination only made it worse. Hope this helps as my beginning shingles didn't fit the pattern.

I had a severe attack in February 2024. The pain lasted a whole month. I was almost begging to be sedated in hospital. Now, several months after the rash went, I am left with numbness and post-herpetic itch where the rash was (right-ribcage and lower back). It's like the itch that can never be scratched. Interesting about the vitamin D. Living in New Zealand, our sun burns fast so we tend to stay out of the sun which probably means Kiwis are amongst the lowest in vitamin D in the world.

We don't recommend the vaccine. First of all it contains many toxic excipients and it comes with an extremely long list (and I do mean long) of dangerous side effects. I have not gotten the vaccine nor will I get the vaccine. Now, the good news is you have 1 year built in immunity from contracting shingles once you've had an outbreak. So, the key is to fortify your immune system and protect against future outbreaks with L-Lysine, especially when stress levels are chronically high.

The pain was severe and I was put on gabepetin for 6 weeks and it took 3 months to wean off of it. Over a year later I still have some nerve pain . I also need a knee replacement on my right knee and scared the nerve pain will get worse again and could cause more problems with recovery since the pain is on the same side.

Thank you for sharing your information and advice. So sorry this happened to you. I noticed in some of the latest videos that it looked like something had happened. Thank you for sharing your protocol with us. I will definitely will look into that and keep that information for the future. Every day I take Anti Viral pills with all natural ingredients from a local holistic store. I had a rash on my chest area not on one on both sides saw a physician's assistant and she said oh you have a rash and gave me a prescription that was $150 for a small tube. After I picked it up and looked at all the side effects I was very sad that I used one application. Did not help. I felt like I wanted to peel off my chest from all the itching it felt like it was electrically burning from the inside out and not being able to make it stop. The first time this happened was in 2018 and every once in a while at the same time of year I still have something happen but not as bad as that first go-round. But this whole time no one has said that I had shingles. Back in 1996 I had an allergic reaction to medication that was mislabeled by the pharmacist and spent a week in the hospital and almost died. The rash all over my body that felt just like the rash that I had in 2018 but I do not know if they are connected. When I was 6 months old as a baby I developed chicken pox. It was so bad my mom put socks on my hands and I have scars to this day. I'm definitely going to reevaluate the daily amount of supplements I'm taking based on your information such as vit D ect.

Symptoms would improve with chiropractic adjustments. Most recently, a perfect adjustment on the right side woke up the nerve in my eye and all the inflammation was gone. A few INCREDIBLY stressful weeks later the symptoms showed up on the left side, and 3 days later the rash🤯 i wish MDs and chiropractors could get along. Were neck injuries on both sides a factor? Did curing the PHN with an adjustment cause it to switch sides? Os PRE herpatic neuralgia responsible for so many mystery illnesses like fibro and lyme? 🤔

I got mine and the most painful thing I've ever experienced. Mine was actually diagnosed as internal shingles, which turned into a phn and allodynia. I couldn't wear clothes. I had to use a shingle cream and saran wrap my torso. My doctor didn't give me the anti-virus meds, grrr. It took over a year to heal. And even today still have some stinging and burning with some electrical shocks. It was prednisone that helped me come alive again, and I did take other meds before that as well, and got the shingrix shots. It's no joke. It would be good if the doctor here could talk about the phn and allodynia. Cold 🥶 water has become my best friend that helps calm the nerves and relieves the pain.

Absolutely not! This vax has been linked with vaccine acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (VAIDS) and it comes with a very long list of serious side effects. Plus there are no guarantees about it's efficacy. In fact, if you watch the Shingrex commercial on you tube (for the vaccine) it's 60 seconds long. The first 10 seconds touts the vaccine and the remaining 50 seconds are spent going over all of the side effects and disclaimers. That should be a huge red flag for anyone.

There are many research studies that have shown that regardless of the vaccine, a person with a stressed or impaired immune system can still get shingles. Instead, I now work to make sure my immune system is super-charged at all times. I cycle on/off L-Lysine which is a proven anti-viral shown to combat herpes Zoster. And if I start to get run down or stress levels get higher than normal, I also take Olive Leaf extract, known to have potent anti-viral properties.

Considered a mild case since my face did not paralyze, and my ear and face had shingles spots but barely oozed. 2 steroids, one antibiotic, and the viral med for 12 days. It's been a week that my skin is cleared up, but the PHN is what's debilitating. It's early for me, yet I can't imagine this long term. My stress was probably my fibromyalgia, poor diet and dealing with my husbands kidney issues and senior parents issues. Ive been on vit b, vit d and magnesium for 2 yrs already, my labs have shown good levels, but the vit d should be higher than 50 so, guess Im gonna take more!

To increase platelets naturally, research has shown taking folate, vitamin B12, and vitamin C will elevate platelets along with chlorophyl, colostrum and papaya leaf extract. However, none of these will elevate her platelets fast enough to stop bleeding, so please make sure your mom gets medical attention.

Is it possible to have oral shingles? Since covid in 2020 I have had 36 bouts on the roof of my mouth. The left side.
The pain is bad but how it makes me feel is even worse.
    Thanks for the video. 😊

Yes, unfortunately there is such a thing as oral shingles. You can use the same protocol that we outlined in this video, but not all essential oils can be used orally.

Maybe I missed it in your presentation. Do you recommend the shingles vaccine they’re giving in local pharmacies, along with the Covid shots my doctor is still requiring for an office visit? Can you get shingles if you never got chicken pox back in the day? Are you more likely to get shingles if you have Herpes Simplex I or II? Thanks.
This was a great video. I’m in my 80’s now, and have a couple of friends who have had miserable experiences with shingles. I want to avoid it if I can.

He stated in another comment that there are too many side effects. Do everything you can to boost your immune system. 50,000 Vitamin D, get in the sun, high doses vitamin C and B, quality multi vitamin, do not buy at Wal Mart. You get what you pay for. If my doctor required me to get a Covid shot to see him, I would tell him to take a flying leap.

Great question. Absolutely not and will not take it. It's associated with a very long list of dangerous side-effects and is not guaranteed to stop shingles.

I would have to say stress is my main problem,I take centrim and living in Philippines retired now my foods aren't as plentiful as America. My condition showed up from what I thought was a freak on my left neck, and yes it was painful!!!!!!!

I came down with shingles a few weeks ago and I really don't understand why. I haven't been particularly stressed recently and I don't have any other chronic condition that I am aware of. I've been theorizing that my shingles was triggered by COVID, because I know I was exposed to that virus and I've seen research that links the two conditions.

SHINGLES... Aaaarrg!!! About 15 years ago, I got it... Mine came to me as a result of a few things... Starting with an inflamed Testicle, which my Doctor misdiagnosed as an Infection. He put me through 3 rounds of Antibiotics before sending me to a Urologist who instructed me to take Advil or Motrin, Anti-inflammatories... at that time, I had been diagnosed with T2 Diabetes... I was just beginning to learn about Health, but the Internet and YT had not evolved sufficiently to help when Shingles hit. Gaud! I thought I would die. Nothing seemed to work. I read that Quercetin might act as an antihistamine, so I tried that. It helped a bit, but did Nothing for the Pain... After learning what I had all that I could do was ride it out and take pain killers... Sheesh! Now, with the help of your video, I'll know what to do, should it ever appear again. Now, I have most of the substances you suggest and take 20,000 IU of Vitamin D2 Daily, along with K2 and a lot of other stuff. Thanks for sharing this information. It's very helpful 🙂

So sorry you had to experience this especially during times when there wasn't much available info on it. So glad you're now armed but let's not say "You're ready when you have an outbreak"...instead let's say, "You're armed to prevent an outbreak from ever occurring again!"
