15 yrs later I'm still watching this video.. best sound ever
I definitely agree
Probably the best sound ever, I come back over and over just to listen to it.
Now that's a true impala no low rider here but a muscle car
that sound is so intoxicating!!!!!
Still love this car! Hope it still exists. 👍🏾
i love the engine fallback sound whe he shifts this beast of an engine and lets the rpm fall back into a cozy soothing cradle
nice car but those rims ruin it
Second that.
bunning63
third that.
yepper if they are made by foose it`s all explained! yucko
4th that
Get some fat rubbers on the back
Nelson racing seriously made a huge name for themselves.. they have produced some of the sickest blocks for so many different cars from new school cars such as vette's and vipers to older cars like this...mad props to nelson
Chill on the rims, when you have that much horsepower you going to need big brakes to stop it
Rims suck ass
That's true, but there are many better looking rim options out there.
Woodward brought this video back to my thoughts. I'm glad it's still here.
There burning out there customers tires lmao
"They're" burning out "their" "customer's" tires you fucking moron.
It's part of their payment! LOL 😁😆😂🤣
i love the engine fallback sound as he shifts this beast of an engine and lets off the throtle
Umm Porsche pulled 612bhp out of a 5.7 liter n/a
I can only imagine what they could do with 9.4 litres
Although v8 chevys are music to my ears. I love em all.
most car companies can make those numbers, super/turbo charging their engines. Or using different air/fuel ratio systems. Cadillac, known for making engines with not much bang for your buck or displacement, makes a 6.2 liter that gets around 550 hp and 550 ft lbs. I can't imagine what this would be like with a supercharger on her.
well making hp is not hard, have a Volvo 242 with a 2,5l cylinder made 214hp before i put a turbo on it, but that is my track car as it now produce 568hp on the wheels, mabey one of the resion's why i do not get number-plates on it xD
the big differents...
1. this engine costs only $17,790 fatory new... dont even think to get 1/5 of a Porsche V10 for that price
2. this engine produce ~900Nm(660 ft.lbs) peak and alway abouve 600Nm the complete rev band up to 7000rpm.. the Porsche engine has a peak of 590Nm ..torque gets u going not hp
3. this thing hauls ass bang for buck, Porsche costs ass if u want bang...
Yeah? AMG 2.0 litre straight 4 runnin 360 ponies
2EXCESS Official With a huge ass turbo...
The sound of the car is just amazing it's beautiful
wicked impala got that nascar hoesrpower that will shit on a ford anyday
DAMN! 750hp with only 9:1 compression and naturally aspirated *gasps for air* im impressed
im puttin one them 572s in my s10
Justin Simmons I hope you’re alive sir. A 572 in that small of a truck is scary to think of
what a fantastic sound, all cars should sound like this!
i like the choice of rims...and his shifts..music to ears when he jumps on gas..
this car would be the dream of every classic car fan! Great job!
Sweet car, to bad it has IMO pimp/near donk rims.
I know that's just redonkulous
X Burst
That is pro-tourning. The blacks learned it from us and thought the bigger the wheels the fancier...Pro touring existed since the early 90s..it got nothing to do with Donk, man.
@@hirthirthirt1693 the blacks? U racist pos. Now most of the new cars come with 20" wheel options haha. Ur welcome bitch
That is a 9.5 l V8 why do you care about the rims who cares about the rims that cars has the power to pull House down so who cares about the tires and rims
Ohhhh my Gawdddddddd!!!! I've been building fast street cars with turbo v-8s for years now, but I would toss the turbo in the circular file in a second to have a motor sound like this mother!!! Damn!!! Right On!!! That's all I can say....absolutely beautiful music to my ears!!!!
That thing needs a four speed.
Why? It has a six speed. Six is two more than four.
Richard Harrold ..Four gets the job done. There's a whole nuther feel.
@@blipco5six gives you more options including an overdrive or two for fuel economy when cruising. Any 4-speed daily/weekend cruiser should get a 6-speed swap.
Richard Harrold ...That's true but I'm old school. Four speed only for muscle cars. But this is a resto mod so.....
@@blipco5 any muscle car on the road today needs to be a restomod. Sure, they had power, and looks, but every other aspect of the car was woeful. A disc brake conversion, upgraded gearbox and modernised suspension (coilovers at the front, rear four-link or IRS coil conversion, or go air ride for a big lead sled) are an absolute must. A 4-speed, torsion bar/leaf spring suspension, manual steering and unassisted cable drum brakes plus 400+bhp make for a death trap, a danger to itself, its driver and occupants and anyone else with the misfortune to be in its vicinity.
Man!!! What a great car!!!!
Wow!! It's my dream have one like this!
Congratulations!
Wonderful !
those heads look way too small for a 572...
Zac Thomas you have x-ray vision? Lmao!
Prolly meant valve covers
what a beast... an Impala with a Big Block Chevy truly is my all time fav. sounds awesome!!
Chrome rims look so... tacky /:
Need room for big brakes with that kind of power
You're soft
Just have to say. Watched this video for years and still my fav video on RUclips lol
guys that compare turbo, and supercharged engines go away... Lissen.. this is a naturally aspirated engine, simple, reliable, beautiful, extremely fast car. I don't know about you.. if you want to do 160 - 220 MPH, and fry tires at 100MPH, we don't do that in Impalas.. save it for the exotics!
This Impala is a great example of added modern appointments while preserving that classic muscle car feel.. just an exciting car!!
sin duda desde la Argentina.
Estoy enamorado de ese impresionante motor!!!
increible sound!!
is beautiful!!
I'm in love!!
If you put rallys on that car it would full on badass
Chingon! Todo madre! Had a friend in Whittier Ca. name, Dave Rebman, he had a 68 Camero SS. I swear you would literary sink into those bucket seats, on every shift. He could drive too. Never forget that. Awesome upload.
I want one! Without those wheels also though.
Now, that is a very well-put point that no one can argue.
2023 still watching
That’s a wicked engine, sounds awesome
One of the most beautiful cars ever made.
Your suspension set up must be spot on as when you hit the pedal it goes in a straight line . Very impressive. Very Cool Car !
That is a Badass Impala. Must be a terrific Daily Driver!!!!
LOL dont worry about that guy. Any true car enthusiast know that 750HP naturally aspirated is beyond impressive!!
Amen to that. Got nothing against imports but you have to admire the sheer power of a Naturally aspirated Big block. 750 HP.. you won't crank that out of 4 or 6 cylinders without a Turbo or supercharger.
A finely built Big block should be able to generate 1.5hp per cubic inch so they could still muster out some juice out of this one big time.
I have a 69 Impala with a girly 350 V8 It still sounds great , and parked next to your Camry , it looks beautiful
OMG , 750 hp and torque with 9 to 1 compression?? You guys build some bad ass motors
the rims look great and they make the impala look special-and it should look that way because it runs extra special better than many a musclecar
The ricers don't stand a chance. Barely touching the gas on this will smoke their asses. Awesome! You don't need a radio in this beast. 572 cubic inches of American big block muscle under the hood is all the music you need.
the engine roars just like the one of a monster truck....thats really badass
It's an OLD Chevy, they made 'em right back in tha day.
What a car,one of the nicest cars ever.LOVE AMERICAN CARS.
that was the most satisfying burnout i have ever seen on youtube
The '65 Impala was /is a beautiful car.....perfect match for some Detroit muscle.
I want that car!!!!
Amazing american old school muscle, Fantastic Car Great Job!
Barely any low end torque isn't as fun as being able to drop the peddle to the floor at any gear, and the engine is there in all its big bore 8 cylinder glory. No waiting for a turbo to spool, no having to rev the bag off of it. Just insane power.
Holy hell by far the sweetest sounding car.
im 17 years old and i have a dream, one day to drive this car!
Nice I just turned 16 an went out and got myself a 454 small block with a twin turbo in my 69 chevelle ss. I call her the "screaming demon"
This car is what dreams are made of, at least mine are anyway! He doesn't say what year it is in the video so rather than post a comment to ask then wait for a response, I went to the Nelson website to look it up, it's a '65. Bad ass!
The g-forces i expirienced just watching this video smashed my brains against the back side of my skull.
Nice 66. i can tell by the tail lamps.Only year they made them like that. I am restoring a 66 caprice right now with a 396. Going to mod it slightly, wheels, paint, tires, and some chrome dress up, other then that keeping it factory.
This is how all cars should look and sound
This video is a fucking legend. Best looking car I have ever seen
That car is beautiful and that big block Chevy crate is icing on the cake
But I understand where you are coming from, that's really the best thing about running a larger motor N/A or even a large motor in general, it's application is great for street or track with superb throttle control over a 2.0L with 50lbs of turbo boost. My point is performance doesn't only come in big packages.
When you look over the dash and the car revs I imagine it's like the old PC game Street Rod in real life!!!
What a monster - blister the tires in any gear. Fun!
I would never daily a car like that from the horrendous fuel economy but it is an awesome track car.
God damn revving the engine genuinely scared me.
@camirocz GT-R is a great car, but you can drive it with one finger. This car was made for those who know what means REAL DRIVING.
Besides that, to get 800 HP in a GT-R you need a mid-level tune-up, while chevy 572 engine has 750 HP from factory. Do you wonder what would do this car with a tune-up?
NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Big Block Chevy is wild!!!!
That thing is STRONG
wow
my dream car when i was a child
impalas are some of the best and beautifullest cars ever
That big block is my dream!!!!
with this car i would forget all other cars!
I think he's taking it easy on a CUSTOMER's car. Hence the less than stellar shifts.
there's two versions of the 572. This one, which pumps out 750 hp (right out of the crate), and a cheaper, slightly more detuned one that pumps out (only) 650.
Omg what a beast
that Impala has some BIG dangling balls. . .
i the engine fallback sound whe he shifts this beast of an engine and lets the rpm fall back into a cozy soothing cradle
Lancia tuned the Delta Integrale to 750bhp. In the 1980s. With a 2 litre engine. And four wheel drive.
lol I can smell the burnt rubber through my speakers :)
No the 572 has been around for a while, its a Crate Motor, meaning you can only buy the motor it doesn't come standard in any car. The LSX is a derivative of the LS9( Engine in the New Corvette ZR-1) The LSX comes standard in the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V
nice build - good to see some REAL quality. That's a sick engine in there.
BADASS
It is very loud, but it is a car that is worth driving.
he tricked me at first i thought it was a toy but then he got closer then i relised its real i love it
*drools* thats a damn nice car!
u dont need audio head unit with that beast.
just wind down the window and listen to that masterpeice!
Total beauty..Love Nelson cars..Awesome..
@cbxsage
This is from Nelson Racing Engines, he builds all his own motors.
2 ways to make 572 C.I., 4.5" bore x 4.5" stroke OR 4.56" bore x 4.375"stroke.
aftermarket manufacturers make both cranks, very easy to get.
Beautiful Impala i got a 63 going to be painting it Pearl White soon she has a 350 though
Just love that '66 above all else-well, I like the '61 bubble top also
You should have you're own Custom Engine car show =D
that makes me giggle like a kid, i wish i could afford one.
Right!! Old cars are best!!
God bless the big blocks.
At 4:00 when you can really hear the exhaust, you can tell they have the perfect exhaust system on it because it is not "rappy" with back pressure, even at those low RPMs. Excellently balanced exhaust in my opinion. I can not stand trucks and cars who have shitty custom exhaust systems and the owner/driver thinks it sounds good... it sounds horrible and is not adding as much power/MPG with all that back pressure.
I agree about the wheel choice. This is a customer's car? Wow he must have gave permission to do whatever! LOL Engine sounded amazing for sure, until the burn out run then it was missing some. I really enjoyed the video
some are drivers, some are mechanics, some can do both, and some can do none. it jus depends where u fall into place.
Nice 66 man.
It amost lulled me to sleep watching it
BEAUTIFUL CAR!!!!
Oh so that what gives us daylight savings time! :) lol Every time you do a burnout I have to reset my watch!
@7KAYJAY7 it varies but thats the chevy 572 with custom push rods and rocker arms they cost anywhere from 9k-15k depending on features.
Beautiful, I'd get a ticket every time I drive it, guaranteed.
