@@md_randoms2429Hey the 400s and the 403s weren’t anything to write home about. When they dropped the 455HO in 74 I think it went down hill from there.
Years ago I had a trans am that looked just like that except for the hood. It was a turbo with a whopping 210 hp. Looked great but couldn’t get out of its own way.
I had a Brown 1982 turbo Trans Am with T tops, a few days after I graduated from high school in 1992, my dad gave the car away, and he also gave away my 1971 camero that I had rebuilt in my sophomore and Junior years😢.
I had a 79 with the 301. Major slug but didnt care. I loved that car. I hated driving that oven in the summer since the ac was broken. At no speed did the cab cool down........
Agreed. I know they're supposed to perform better in all ways, but I just dont like the modern Cameros look. I cant look at one and not see a Transformer. And I cant look at the person driving and not think they are pretending to be a Transformer when they drive LMFAO
Man i remember when that model came out. A guy parents across town bought him one and he was way younger than me. They also had bought him a Black Kawasaki Gpz1000 Ninja.
Love these trans Am when they first came out I remember when they first came out and I used to love the one that had baby blue rims and it was a baby blue color trans Am beautiful car with baby blue rims and baby blue color and baby blue interior. Came right out of the factory like that.

One of the prettiest and slowest cars ever made! My uncle bought one off he showroom floor and it wouldn’t pull a hat off your head! It did ok at highway speed but 120mph it was pegged out! But with modern hp that a nice car! Bet it will fly.
the design of that car never goes out of style to me it always looks cool
Yeah definitely 💯
Mean and clean
Big factor is also Smokey and the Bandit -nostalgia (for me also)
I saw this car in a game and absolutely loved it and only now I am getting to know it's name
Nothing like good ole American Muscle 💪🏾💪🏾
One of the baddest cars on the planet.

He should have let all that traffic pass, so we all could see him let them eagles fly. Sound damn good!!
These 77-81 trans ams are so majestic
80-81’s are turds tho. You could only get the 301 and 301 turbo
@@md_randoms2429 doesn’t bother me. Still more fun than most cars today.

The iconic phoenix on the hood. The original bandit

The sound of a twin turbo whistling ❤
Damn that thing has the perfect stance!!
This car was reviewed on hoonigan autofocus with Larry Chen, crazy build over 1000hp
It sounds like shit
Thanks bro. I looked it up and watched it. Soo badass
Love the way he pulled out slowly, straightens out to line up, then hits the gas
He made an inverse mustang
Like an airplane
Yeah man , that was class experience in motion not stupid mustang waiting on a wrecker 😆😆😆
Years ago I had a trans am that looked just like that except for the hood. It was a turbo with a whopping 210 hp. Looked great but couldn’t get out of its own way.
Those wheels are SICK !!!!
He was smart to wait until he was straight on to let it rip… all those that try and rip it while still turning are just waiting for an accident!
Goddamit... that's a nice iron piece you got there man, congrats!!!
Not mine, but It’s a beauty
that 7.4 liter beast of an engine 🤤
This is America, ain’t no such thing as liters
didn't those come with 400ci...not 454?
it's a 6.6 I believe
6.6
@@tombrown5586yup yup, 400 6.6L
I love how it almost did a burnout even before the turbos kicked in lol
Love the wheels. Dad had em in gold on his red Trans Am 👍.
East bound and down
My mom drove a 73 T.A. !!!!!!! I MISS THAT CAR

POwer is there but will never hook with those short stiff sidewalls
simply unbelievable, just unbelievable...Lord have mercy.
Should modernized Trans Am like Mustang, Challenger , Ford GT, Corvette. .
And modernized Pontiac aka knight rider too 😎🤟
They have some nice concepts
Agree, BUT.... a car company has to exist first before they can modernize anything!!!
But that scout behind it though 🥵🥵🥵
Is it a scout? I thought it was a Bronco. I think I have some footage of her. I’ll post it later. And it sure was money !!
@@PapapandaFilms Definitely a Scout II 👌
I always get them confused. But loved them the same.
And body notice the Honda CRV behind the scout? Gorgeous....

That "gawdamn" at the end says it all.
That was from the deepest part of my soul 😁
I’ve owned a T/A and a Cuda in my life I’ve had a good run…
My dream car as a kid. I wanted a Tatt a Gat and a black Trans Am with the gold bird on the hood. Haven’t got the trans am yet.
Are those larger versions of the original wheel style? The stance and the wheels look so good on it.
Yep. Those are the famous snowflake wheels. Year One offers them in 17 and 18 inches...
Bye bye baby!!!! King of the road
Absolutely beautiful
Looks like year one trans am , from Fast Furious 4
The fast and furious one was a 77-78, the front nose changed in 79. I prefer the 77-78 Bandit front nose. Bad ass car even still!
Fire bird my all time favourite i had once for 6 years
