"Sorry, your chocolate bars aren't in stock, we have substituted it with a whole raw chicken" so god damned true
HAHAH unlike tesco “sorry we’re out of chocolate biscuits, heres a whole raw chicken” i died!
Had a prime now delivery where the driver was 2 minutes drive from my house then inexplicably started driving the 20 minutes back towards Glasgow. Was raging until the location dot stopped at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and stayed there until the order dropped off the app 36 hours later.
Goodness, I hope he wasn’t eating your order and suddenly became violently ill. I’m looking for another explanation but I am struggling lol.
Wow I hope he was okay.
Did you ever find out what happened?
Don’t you dare even suggest that nobody buys Tunnocks Caramel Wafer. They are a must in my shopping basket every week.....ok every day. We all have our vices.
I'm a Tunnocks tea cakes man myself. Shame you have to buy 6 at a time with my poor discipline!
😂
How's the toddler getting on these days? still drinking himself into oblivion?
@Ryan - Of course. That and pursuing to be elected president. Same old stuff really.
Them and the tea cakes are the best 😍
A new "Week on...." has been a long time coming, Mike ! I've missed you doing your videos !
Its more money. Amazon price is higher
A week on Poundland 😃😃
Yes please!! Hahaha
been asked so much, he aint gunna do it
YAY BASIL also yay new week on, i missed them
Basil does not need to pay rent as your living in his house it's you who needs to. the rules of cats are important to learn XD
A week?
I've been living off Amazon Prime Now since March!!!
.. and thank crap it's been there, too, cos Bread and Milk runs would've been a case of Meithering neighbours to hell and back.
Was busy as hell at the start, delivery slots were about one every few days. Now it's calmed down to a much better schedule.
Oh, and we've been able to order the full range for a long time. Guess we're lucky. (Bolton area)
Me too.
I'm disabled & have had to rely on Prime Now to eat. Slots have been extremely difficult to get. However Mike takes slots away from people like me for RUclips views. What a prick.
@@BobMonkeypimp no one feels sorry for you. what a selfish comment
@@SvendDesignsSD What a pathetic simp you are. I don't expect people to feel sorry for me but I pity you.
I get almost all of my groceries from Amazon. And pretty much everything else for that matter. In Manchester, Prime Now offers a wide range of decent food so I've been using them for years.
I used to work for them. I was also their customer. And when i received melted ice cream at my door, who was I going to complain to, myself? Which I did.
Jeff Bezos is like the kid playing monopoly that already won but makes you play till everyone is bankrupt.
My favorite "doomed either way" move in monopoly is to trade all my stuff for a dollar to anyone that isn't the person about to bankrupt me.
Even though you've got a horrible virus, and you're puking all over the board, making everyone else sick as well.
That's how you're supposed to play monopoly. There can be a second, third, fourth (etc) place.
Prime Now is insanely great. I cannot tell you have many times I've had my ass saved by Prime Now, I recall a project was due in 4 hours and I needed a brand new SSD it was at my doorstep in 1 hour.
Prime Now are also just insanely helpful when I need a little mid-week top up before the big shop. One of the best modern conveniences I've seen invented in my entire life (27)
The steam made the food look almost angelic once you'd wiped the middle of the camera. A very nice vignette
Still, dont get what exactly they offer that's different from going direct. Ok granted the substitute items in real-time and chat are great but everything else you could basically get by going direct and in 1-hour time slots. I personally would be impressed if your not limited to one store per order so, for example, grab meat from Morrisons and then other shopping items from another supermarket. This would definitely give an edge over the supermarkets and more choice to customers and shouldn't be that difficult to implement especially if the supermarkets are within close proximity to each other.
That purple thing behind your head at the beginning looked like a bong for a second
I love Prime Now especially as I am still avoiding supermarkets as I am in a high-risk group. It works really well where I live and the prices are no different from any other supermarket.
Yep, I'm wheelchair bound and have relied on Prime Now. Nice of Mike to take vital delivery slots for the RUclips views. What a prick.
My supermarket has a live person answering text messages so I can get substitutions in real time, and they'll often offer me several alternatives. I didn't realize other places didn't do that.
15:16 - Mike Jeavons' viewers DESTROY the "Like" button with GRATITUDE and APPRECIATION!
“I’m going to enjoy myself, while I slowly die.”
That’s a sentence to live your life by
I love all 4 original Tremors movies, but Tremors 2 is definitely one of my favorite sequels of all time! 👍
I can already tell your twitch commentary is going to be amazing 😂
So excited
You had me all like "What is this? I'm going to have to try this." Only to find out Amazon don't do it in my neck of the UK and there's even a Morrisons around the corner from me. 😌
Same here mate. I order from my girlfriend's place and she has prime now delivery and same day delivery all the time. The same item I add to my basket that says same delivery when sent to her address, shows up as available several days later for delivery to mine, which is not even that far from her location. Prime now is also always "currently unavailable" in my area. It's infuriating and feels like they are prioritising the more affluent areas for the best services :(
Nice to see you back. Is the giant purple phallic object marked (possibly) “vibes” in the background deliberate comment bait?
"It's too early to start moaning"
Where?
It's a WW yoga mat I think
I used Amazon prime for my food all last year for everything. I was able to get chilled items then. But I am in London so maybe that's why. I no longer use them because of the expense and now use co-op because they are hour slots with easy tracking and no delivery charge
I work for the UPO1 amazon branch in segensworth just outside fareham in Hampshire glad to see you as one of our customers :)
"I'm going to enjoy myself while I slowly die." is a b i g mood
Lucky. All we get here in the states is Whole Foods. While their prices have gotten better, they are still far more expensive than say Aldi.
Yay I have been waiting for a week on for a long time now
Thanks for the video Mike. You should have done Sainsbury's Chop Chop. They seem to do delivery much quicker, within one to two hours in London. Maybe another time.
Becareful since I gave my cats the pork and ham ones of that Felix they look at any other flavour like its pure shit .
Might try my cat with that one, he's getting tired of his Whiskas selection.
@@joannegray5138 its always 3.25 a box in wilkos if theres one near you .
Never pay the 3.99 always order 40 quids worth 👌
Mate since you had no breakfast and lunch having a large dinner is no big deal.
Thanks Mike I've just ordered on amazon prime now😊👍
Loved the video especailly BASIL🐈
8:19 & 14:20 Speaking as an insider to a well known Supermarket's Online delivery department. This idea is really cool. However, most shoppers start their shifts at 3 in the morning and the shopping for the day's deliveries are more or less done by 8 that morning(So they get first dibs on the delivery and get the best availability). So if you wanna be texted at those hours then we'll start doing that. :D
So pretty much another week on Morrisons but with Amazon's name on it?
You should be paying Basil rent. It is his house. You also have the pleasure of his company.
I have used prime now for a couple of years now for grocery deliveries simply due to the convenience of being able to get the items sooner than other services (Tesco, ASDA and Morrison’s own delivery service). Big annoyance is that it does work out more expensive in the long run, whether that’s on a monthly or yearly basis but due to the convenience it has with it, especially if I realise the night before I need groceries, I’ve put up with it. The service was completely unusable at the beginning of the pandemic though, they aren’t able to deal with such high demands like other supermarket deliveries can but that’s expected. Still a great service though and everytime someone mucks up amazon give me a decent refund and discount for my next order. The issue with going with Morrison’s in prime now is that they don’t do any stock checks prior to checkout and sometimes the replacement system just doesn’t work and you end up not getting a bunch of items from your order. I attempt to go with amazon directly as a “store” as I’m guaranteed to get what I purchased due to the stock check occurring not only when you add items to your cart, but also just before payment occurs.
First week on since a week on takeaways, glad to see you back!
I get my groceries delivered by Morrison's (but not through Amazon) every fortnight and they're usually pretty good, though it was hard to get a delivery slot during the first couple of months of Lockdown - and I wasn't happy when they substituted Nik Naks with Twiglets (yuk!) a couple of times. Using regular delivery, we don't get the option to confirm substitute items with the order pickers either, which seems like a good idea.
Btw, that sandwich filler is yummy; I love it in a jacket potato 😋
- Looks at Film Thought.
- Titles are ALL IN CAPS FOR NO REASON.
Yeah, no thanks. I don't like being shouted at before the video's even started.
Looks like something you have to plan for. Like, ordering the stuff the day before.
Great to see that you're back with another Week on, Mike! 😁👍🏼
I'm here from Teacher Paul Eats
'A Week On Amazon Prime In 7 Hours'
Interesting concept, I was looking at amazon now but it isn't out here yet. Looking forward to the rest of the week!
You should get an air fryer, those goujons are great on there
A week on deliveroo as you can order from shops too and great too see you back
I learned a new word today; goujon. We just call them "chicken fingers".
My cat sheds loads, sure people think I never vacuum lol
Basically me for the last 4 months.
Hi Mike! Just wanted to say I appreciate your content, and keep up the good work!
I'm also a Michael and it is so true no one calls you Michael unless in trouble haha.
I was totally unaware of Amazon Prime Now until I saw this video. Seems like a bloody good idea to me. I shall give it a go when it's available in my area.
Tastes like Turkey dinosaur kind of chicken:Mike jeavons 2020
Glad I found this
I know not on topic but I love peri peri mayo lol
We used this in lock down. It's brilliant 😊
I'd prefer your wife's meal... ugh breaded chicken.
Also I tried amazon... and really I prefer to order from Iceland, the selection is awful for people like me who want a PROPER meal. Sadly Amazon just can't deliver what I want (and at a reasonable price)
Hilarious and entertaining as always Mike. That is essentially cat food Mcdonalds though. I definitely would do some research into proper cat nutrition if I were you. You want Basil to be around for a long time and be healthy. That's pretty much the worst thing other than Gocat or Friskies. :(
Have you done a video living on happy shopper food? That would be great to watch, I like your videos a week on , keep them going
Amazon prime now is how I got through lockdown
oh my god the number of times this set off my echo dot is ridiculous it keeps trying to sign me up to amazon fresh!
Felix as Good As It Looks only £3.75!!
Nope its cheaper on Morrison's. Super markets
I don't cause I'm watching from Australia.
Amazon prime Now????? More like Amazon prime , ah djeez, I mean hold on, in a while no definitely now-ish!
That little scrounger (and Grace) do bring you in some good views Mike, I am sure you realize that, bless them both! (And you too I suppose!) :)
A week on cat turds, like if you agree.
Mike already eats turds.
F*cking yassss been waiting for another week on bud 👍😁
Morrissons is on deliveroo with deliveroo within the hour
Marie I will never use deliveroo after the story of a courier wiping his nob on someone's bigmac
Grace will never give you offspring.
Your heritage ends here.
Do a week on roadkill and meth
Wish I could use that here, but the south west is always last to get everything, if we ever get it. I was using pantry but they got rid of that so got nothing now.
Somebody has to tell you: an oven can be cleaned!
Easier to smash the door.
@@lifeguard2564 Holy shit you unlocked a memory I forgot I had
Im confused, it all seems to be coming from Morrisons so why not just order direct from them? lol
Hi mike and grace I’ve never tried amzon prime now
Still waiting for a week on home made food
That's the only way I do my shopping, lol
That chicken muck looked like foam
I would have spent the extra 11.75 for the no extra on delivery lol 😆
Given how things are right now you are insanely lucky to get it same day at all..
Goujon John! Or Mike
But they taste baaaad! And I think he would ram them through the letter box *if I had one!*
Wait? You can't buy frozen items? I bought from peas and ice lollies etc in Amazon now
might as well use deliveroo
Watching this on a OnePlus 7 pro love this phone
I’ll look up that video in a bit, I like tremors 2, though if that is the premise , you’re putting it up against Terminator 2, it’s going to be a hard sell.
I'll stick to aldi and a weekly budget of 15-20 quid lol.
Week on cat food confirmed
Him time ti watch a foot ball game...
Me hmmmm ok he likes Socker
Here’s a whole raw chicken lol
A week on Morrison's basically.
I agree on another comment , a week on poundland ?!! Does me alright 😂😘
They should have as least offered southern fried seasoned goujons, bet that tasted amazing being so hungry though
TIL the word Goujon
Teemu Pukki has clearly lost the plot during Lockdown...
Add 11.75 for delivery at no extra cost? So basically it will cost 11.75 to deliver.. Instead of 3.99 standard. Hmmm okay then
I took that to mean add £11.75 to the order & there wouldn't be a delivery charge.Could be wrong tho
@@martymart7892 You are right. If he added 11.75 more, there wouldn't have been a delivery fee.
How dumb are you lmao.
@@StephenJMC89 I get why but look at it like this, there's no delivery fee if you pay 11.75 more. if you don't pay 11.75 more for the free delivery, then you have to pay 3 99 for delivery , so just pay the 3.99 and save 7.76. Don't have to spend more to save little
@@martymart7892 but the delivery fee is 3.99, just pay that, why bother with 11 pound more
What happened to your book/s?
Erm... that's my daily life, lol...
I really dont get the point of this when its basically just online food shopping?
Who else is lying down in their bed hungry
